We are updating our FabFree ’30’ days list and we need your help!
We LOVE our new SL residents and are happy to share all the cool places, on our FabFree ’30’ days list, where they can find free items to help them adjust to their new SL experience. However, there is nothing more frustrating than to click a link only to find the location no longer exists, the business moved, you can’t find the items or it is just the wrong link period! We have heard your frustrations and are taking steps to make sure our ’30’ days list page stays updated with the correct information and corresponding links.
Starting this week, I have taken over coordinating the ’30’ days list and every Wednesday I shall be making my rounds to ensure all locations providing free items to our new residents, who are under 30 days old, are up-to-date; with correct corresponding links.
I need YOUR help though! If you are a designer or a creator and you offer a FREE package/gift certificate or items for new SL residents, who are under 30 days old, and you are not yet on our list…please contact me inworld and I shall put you on our list. OMG I have sooo very many adorable things to show you from a “new-to-me” shop called Sugar Button Boutique. So many cute things in fact that I can’t fit it into one post! Just consider this the first installment of tons of adorable freebies. It’s mid-week and I need a little coffee, and a little time to myself. Just ignore the cigarettes, I swear I didn’t smoke them! Lucky me, I got my mid-week fix and a few lovely new additions to my wardrobe. Shopping is therapeutic after-all! Out and about, having my “me” time, I decided to check out Hebenon Vial, it’s a favorite piercing shop of mine. While there I noticed they’ve added some beautiful new metal textures to their piercings. HV also added some new size options to better fit the wide range of avatar shapes and sizes. The coolest part about all this newness, they have wearable demos! I’ll get to the details on those below. Excited about my new piercings, I started poking through my notices, I found a notice for this perfectly adorable polka-dotted skirt from Klepsydra. I’m not gonna lie, this skirt is so cute, I got a little giddy! So, my Wednesday has turned out pretty well after all.

For those of you *Fabulous Readers* who enjoy wearing lingerie, I have found that one of the best designers in Second Life for that type of apparel is Blacklace. They are always bringing out new products and have recently added Lolas Tango appliers. The fee to join the group is 99 Lindens, and at the beginning of every month, a new group gift is set out for members.
The group gift for August called Amor Plum Embroidery Gown is a lovely violet colored corset with garters, panties and stockings, in multiple layers so you can customize your own look.
My accessories are the Dreamers necklace by Bijoux Rachel and the Madam Pearl Bangles set, both of which can be purchased on marketplace.
This was an amazing hunt with almost 200 goodies for regular size avatars and 39 for petites. I was so thankful they included petites in this hunt because I got some stellar stuff for my little petite.

Most of you will recall that Trinket blogged about these adorable Dwarf Hamsters for the Arcade Gatcha Event. I’ve seen these cute little critters all over the grid and meant to get back to the Arcade Event to score one…but it just didn’t happen. While out and about gathering landmarks for items…I ended up in one of my favorite little stores…Beetlebones. Suetabulous has a funky little place full of her whimsical, eclectic creations…and much to my surprise, I discovered that these hamsters were created by her! She has a gatcha display board where you can still pay the 100L to take your chance on getting one of several different coat types (mine is Siberian Cocoa). For that 100L you get the adorable avatar (it is mesh so you will need a mesh enabled viewer) AND a fabulous AO that just has the most adorable animations in it. Sue also has a really cute Winter Bunny Avatar gatcha board for only 50L.
I also stumbled on the fun little [Etchaflesh/Virtual Props] Trick and Treats Hunt being hosted by the owners of [Etchaflesh] and Virtual Props & Poses. You don’t have to join the group to participate in the hunt, but if you do…it is free to join; with frequent sales and perks. [Etchaflesh] specializes in gorgeous mesh corsets and Virtual Props & Poses has a wide range of poses and props; unlike any I’ve seen around the grid. Collect 25 candies on your Hunt HUD and redeem them at the prize kiosks for either corsets or a fun pose/prop pack…I chose the Magician pack; which comes with several hats (with and without doves), the wand, and several poses. The best part is that the poses and props were compatible with my hamster avi…with just minor fitting of the hat and wand. I also picked up the fabulous circus background texture at the hunt…in the Virtual Props & Poses store…for FREE!! Gotta just love that <3<3

The candies aren’t hard to find…and you can go back each day to collect another 25 candies and redeem them for another prize!
Yesterday I posted all of the furry avatars found in the Library section of your inventory, but as I said, there are a lot more avatars than that! Probably my favorite avatars, and the most exciting are the robot avatars and the vehitars (vehicle avatars).
Today I will cover the vehicle avatars and save the robots for later, along with human avatars that may or may not be familiar.
As I said in my previous post, the avatars found in the library of your inventory cannot be worn. However, they can be dragged into a new folder and worn that way. I would suggest opening a new window of your inventory before dragging so that, for people like me with horribly unorganized inventories, don’t have to scroll through a world of folders.

I really liked the detail of the vehitars. I think we’ve come a long way from Ruth and this is a modern step in the right direction. If you can’t own the vehicle of your dreams, you can be it instead and run your friends over, over and over again instead of just pushing them. 😛
Fly away with the Sebastian or Warthog vehitars and you’re sure to soar above the rest…
Or “drive” around with a cute Stacey vehitar or the Casey vehitar.
