The Stocking Song
OK, I think I’m getting punchy Fabs. It’s close to the holidays, all the world is a rush, I’m not even close to finished with what I need to do! So, let’s ignore all that and have a laugh, shall we? The funniest gifts keep landing in my inventory, and for some reason, I just HAVE to blog them for you. Beachy should have never given me this weekend gig. LOL
Stuff your stocking!
I was inspired to do this post because of this sweater I picked up at Nocturne Noel. It’s a free gift from ONEDAYs, and it made me laugh. You can scroll the credits below to see why 😉 I picked up a ton of gifts there, Aline showed us some of the ones for the girls HERE, and we don’t want to leave the boys out! I decided it was perfect weather to take my dune buggy or go-kart out to the beach for a ride. I picked this free gift up over at NOVACORE. You may remember last month I came home with a skateboard, and this month, this awesome toy! The go-kart is free for Teleport Hub members, and the group is just 10L to join. When you walk into the event, turn to the left. In the back left corner is a NOVACORE booth and the Teleport Hub sign with gift is in it.
NOVACORE will have free gifts every round, and each round starts on the 1st of the month, a great event to visit. This month, they’re also having a hunt! Find 12 cocktails hidden around the event and be rewarded with a prize. I plan to show you the hunt prize sometime this round of NOVACORE so stay tuned 😉

One more mention, my sweet Pitbull tattoo. I won this tattoo from a Midnight Mania board at Vezzo Ink. The MM boards there change, so I never know what is going to be on them when I go, but it’s a great resource for some really nice tattoos. This particular win brought me a full fatpack with the tattoo in both black and white and multiple transparencies. People Watching
Is it only Beachy and I that notice when the sun changes in the sky? Every year at this time the sun is in a different position, it signals my brain that cooler weather and autumn are approaching (although they never do here). Well, it’s happened, and although it’s still hot and muggy out, and will be for the foreseeable future, I allow myself a venture out now and again so I can be hopeful.
Wandering
I’ve been wandering around some of the SLEA regions that are in the destination guide and I wound up at Costa dii Luce, which is beautiful. It’s a perfect spot for people watching, so that’s what I did. I’m wearing an outfit that would be better suited for Autumn weather, but maybe some of you up north will get that soon 😉 It was completely free, courtesy of It’s Gau. This is the Jack outfit in brown, it comes with the T-shirt, jeans and boots. It’s a gift for the Fitmesh Fantatics group, which is free to join. It comes in loads of sizes:

Going Down The Road Feelin’ Bad
When the local biker club won’t let you join, how would you handle it? I’m a lover not a fighter, I guess I’ll take my biker cat stuffie, sit here and sulk. 😉

I’m wearing a lot of freebies and dollarbies in this picture, but I’ve blogged many of them before, so I won’t write about them but check the credits to make sure you’ve gotten them all if you want them.
One sad note to end with. It appears KIKIKAIKAI has left the grid completely. The store is gone, the profiles are empty and we don’t know what happened. It’s a real shame because he made such nice clothes for men, with such style. I sure will miss this store. 😦

Meet Me On The Roof
I found my dream living situation right here in SL. Of course, that’s how it works, I could never afford to live in one of these cool city loft apartments in RL. Chaos and Calm is a new region in the destination guide, it has apartments you can rent, and connected rooftop patios. I want. Plus, you can get the very best entertainment without leaving your house, just step outside to your rooftop and listen to your neighbors fight 😉 I get the best gossip!
Found treasures
Treasure hunting is a fun activity, whether you’re looking for gifts in SL or thrifting IRL. Today I’ve got some gifts I’ve found all over the grid for you guys. Let’s start with my shirt! This is a free gift over at the Manhood Event. It’s made by Bartimeu. You can find it located in the sign outside of the booth. It comes in this red color and has a hud for the waist shirt. It’s rigged for Legacy and Athletic, and to be honest, I do have some clipping on the arms and around my neck using my Jake, but generally it’s wearable for me. You just need to join the free Manhood group to bring it home. The event is open until April 21st.
Next, some gifts from the February issue of L’Homme I hadn’t shown you. My cross earrings are a free gift from Badwolf, and come in silver. You can choose to wear them connected or in just one ear.
I also picked up this Rockstar Necklace at The Forge, wearing my L’Homme tag. I really have no idea which gift is for which edition, but it doesn’t matter, all of the gifts ever offered for the L’Homme group are available and you can get them all for free wearing your tag. The L’Homme group is free to join.
Last but never least are my free shoes. I could have sworn these had been blogged before but I can’t find them so I’ll talk about them again 😉 These are very nice high top paisley sneakers in red by Gabriel, and they’re a free gift for members of the Essential Inventory group. The Man
Phew! Feeling pretty glad to move out of all the lovey dovey hearts stuff, and back into the grey where I feel more myself 😉 That being said, this isn’t just ‘any’ grey, this is well fitting, high end cashmere!
The myth
Leaning into my blog title, I’m reminded of ‘The man, the myth, the legend’. Well let’s dig into that here. It’s a myth that there aren’t many high quality free gifts for men on the grid, and I’m here to show you every weekend. The legend
L’Homme magazine is a legend in it’s own right in Second Life. This magazine has been around as long as I can remember, and it comes out with a new issue every quarter.
