Happy Monday, Fabulous Readers! Gus and I are back to share another prize from the Flowers Time Hunt 6 with you, and a budget-friendly skirt we picked up on the Marketplace.

Dappled With Daisies

At the Good Vibes store, I scooped up this adorable Ho’okipa Kauwela Set for just 3L$ once I found the daisy hidden in the shop. The set includes my white and yellow daisy flower earrings and the charming black framed glasses studded with miniature daisy blossoms and tiny green leaves. I wear glasses in RL, so it’s rare that I wear them in SL. These are super-cute and possess a summery vibe that I just love! You can wear the entire collection as I have done, or don the earrings and/or spectacles separately. You can touch and resize the glasses for the perfect fit for your avatar. The hunt runs through May 31st so you have plenty of time to pick up your own copy. Here’s a close-up for a better look:

Just Beachy

The other day, I was scrolling through the Marketplace looking for bottoms to go with a top I had purchased, and I just happened to spot the Beach Floral Skirt from the Beaticia shop. It costs only 60L$ and is just so pretty! It features a high-waisted fit and large, gorgeous watercolor-style blossoms scattered across an ecru background. Its neutral color scheme allows it to coordinate with a variety of tops. Because it’s high-waisted, you’ll need to pair it with a cropped shirt for the best fit.

Hello Fabulouses and Happy Fourth of July to our readers in the USA! Ripley and I found a lovely spot for a picnic on the Summer Edge sim…. a place far away from those noisy fireworks that freak him out in RL. All those booms, whistles and crackling sounds make him so nervous, so I will be keeping him close until the evening’s celebrations are through tonight. I saw an article online about an animal shelter where people spend the evening with lawn chairs and treats, providing comfort to the homeless canines on the 4th of July, and I thought that was such a wonderful idea! If Ripley wasn’t so upset by the noises in real life, I’d love to help out too.

No Stars, but I Did Find Stripes

Earlier today, the pupster and I spent some time over at the Ghee store seeking out red anchors concealed throughout the sim as part of the Ahoy There Ghee Nautical Hunt. Each item costs 10 Linden dollars, and we are showing you two of the 40 + items you can scoop up at the hunt. First, I’d like to draw your attention to my navy colored sailor shorts. They feature a high-waisted, curve hugging fit, and two columns of golden buttons. Three vertical seams add a realistic touch to the fabric. With a coordinating combination of navy and white stripes, the nautical stripe top completes my outfit. This little number ties on the sides and boasts spaghetti thin shoulder straps. It provides coverage in all the right places but also leaves plenty of opportunity to soak up the sun. If navy blue isn’t your color, there is also a lighter blue version of the top and shorts as well as red concealed separately as part of the hunt. I really liked the darker blue hues in these two hunt prizes, so for a total of just 20 Linden dollars, I was quite pleased with my nautical look. The hunt runs through July 31st, so you have plenty of time to do some sleuthing of your own!
