Going out in attire that is inappropriate for the climate is kind of what we do here at FabFree. Whether it’s a snowy wonderland wearing only…this, or a forest in a ballgown, or even the beach in high heels, we are often and strangely ill-prepared. So here I am wearing almost no clothing in the snow. It’s just what we do. lol
I’m back today with goodies from Belle Epoque‘s birthday hunt. The hunt started waaaaaay back here when Aline announced it and it’s still going strong. If you haven’t been yet, you should go. And if you went right away, you need to go again because another prize was added!
Oh What Fun
To quickly recap, the annual birthday hunt at Belle Epoque is happening now. All of the prizes are located inside the store, and each is from a different designer. I have been in desperate need of a beach day lately. I’ve been on the lookout for just the right thing to wear and I dare say that I’ve found it.
Made Easy
Beauty Factory made it easy, by letting me pick whatever I wanted in the store to wear for free! I did have a bit of trouble narrowing down my choices but that’s never a bad thing. In the end this bikini won out. With that adorable seashell top was there every any doubt? I should probably back up and tell you what I’m talking about. The pertinent bit of information that I’ve left out is that there is a 500L store credit for free right now for group members at Beauty Factory. The group is 298L to join and very generous with the gifties. We just got a sexy lingerie set for International Women’s Day and now this. Plus there’s some others out as well. To claim your free credit, activate your tag and click on the vendor in the front room of the mainstore. The credit must claimed by March 13th and must be used by the end of March 14th.

The Thing
There is a marketplace sale going on at Beauty Factory. Everything is marked down – it’s all 1L to 68L per color and 298L for fatpacks. There are 51 items for 10L or less, many of them 1L and all of the fantastic. The group notices say that it’s “for a limited time” and I sent a couple of IMs asking how long it would go on but haven’t heard back. Better go fast before the force of my typing these words ends the sale. One of the items that I picked up on the marketplace from Beauty Factory is this dress in pink for only 1L. Honestly, for me the star here is this skin. I am so completely obsessed. It’s from a new to me designer called OJAYO which might actually be a new designer because there are only like five items in the shop. Also, when I momentarily joined the group I was the 4th person in it. Regardless, I will mention again that I am completely obsessed with these skins. There are three to choose from for The Saturday Sale and each costs 60L per color pack. I was so enamored that I bought two of them. Even if you don’t change your face as ridiculously often as I do, you’ve gotta go to OJAYO give these a demo. They’re truly lovely.
The Hair
My hair is from Rama.Salon. You can wear it with or without the little butterfly clips and it also comes with a couple of sweet little strands in front of the face that I don’t have on currently. This weekend for Happy Weekend you can snag it for only 60L per color pack. Score.

Hello Hello Fab Free! I hope everyone is doing well. So I decided to take some of Love’s advice from her recent post “Finally… FaMESHed” about entering an event and I am happy to report that I was able to get into the Anniversary round of The Chapter Four. Given the meager abilities of my little laptop, I knew it would be a task to manage the event. Still, the gifts were completely worth the time I spent camera-shopping for the little pink TCF Anniversary gift boxes. I’m just going to tell you now, there are tons of gifts. I’m not even sure I picked them all up, but I gave it a good try. To get the gifts at each vendor, you’ll need to be wearing your The Chapter Four group tag. Currently there is a paltry group join fee of 50 lindens. I know that’s not what everyone likes to hear, in my opinion however, it’s well worth it just for these TCF Anniversary gifts. That said, this will the first, of at least two, maybe three posts showing off my favorites of all the fantastic gifts. I want to make sure you get a good preview, so you won’t feel so bad about that group join fee. First, let’s talk about this pretty face.

Freckles always win in my book. These freckles are courtesy of the May group gift at 7 Deadly Skins. The aptly named Maye skin comes in Omega appliers for the head and body, in the tones Sand and Apricot. If freckles aren’t your thing, there’s a non freckled version in both tones as well. You will need to join the 7 Deadly Skins group to get your May group gift. The group has a one time join fee of 225 lindens, and there are monthly gifts available for men and women.
Flowers For Your Hair
Starting from the top so to speak, this pretty floral hair wreath is the FREETCF Anniversary gift from Cheveux. The flower crown comes in this single color, and can be resized via touch menu. Also in the package you’ll find a demo for the Cheveux hair pictured in the ad.
Ribbon For Your Neck
The cute little ribbon choker is another FREETCF gift. This one is from .BF. and it comes with a color change hud with several solid colors for the ribbon only. There’s also a separate hud for adjusting the size. It gives you a great amount of control over the choker’s size so you can get an exact fit.
Polish For Your Nails
If you’ve been looking for a solid collection of pretty nail appliers all in one hud, it’s waiting for you at TCF. The FREETCF Anniversary gift from Aleutia is a manicure set with 30 separate beautiful colors. That is not a typo, there are 30 colors to choose from. I was doing a little shopping in Sassy! yesterday and spied a light blue 2013 hunt icon cleverly hidden. The New In 2013 Hunt has ended, but the prize is still out at Sassy! (atleast it is today!), and it is this beautiful mesh Nevermore Dress in a blue/grey retro print. I decided to put a little boho / beachy spin on it, and add a floppy summer hat and a sea shell necklace (Vintage Beach Necklace) that I found on Marketplace in the !BF! store for 1L.
