Lend Me Your Hairs!

Wait. That’s not how that quote goes. Either way — Sometimes we all need a new do and I have just the dos for no dough for you!

You really can never go wrong by taking a jaunt over to Analog dog to check out the latest offerings in the FREE Ball at the back of the sim. Currently Style 1 and 2 in the pictures above are offers. Style 1 (Bangers) and 2 (Lolly) are real lookers. Though one says blondes and one says light reds, I discovered that the hud included a tinting option that let me tint the hair literally any color I wanted and I managed to get both hairs to the rich chocolate shade you see in the picture. Style 3 is the current FREE group Gift at Dura called Valentine with your FREE group join and is also a fatpack of colors as well!

Mina Hair is always classic for any occasion. I love the realistic textures and the unique designs. These two gifts — styles 4 (Ilse) and 5 (Tristan, which is also unisex and comes in 4 styles in the box) above are current in-store group gifts FREE with your 200L group join fee. They both are full fat packs. Don’t let the fee deter you. Mina offers regular group gifts, special offers, and discounts to VIPS to make up for the fee.

Need something elegant? Just not in the casual mood? [Entwined] is your one stop shop! Above in the picture you can see that styles 6, 7, and 8 are fantastic for any classic elegant look (though style 6 — called Anna — is on the fence — it would be great for casual wear too). Style 7 is called Holly, and style 8 is called Elinna and these great hair gifts are yours FREE at [Entwined] when you join the group for FREE and pick them up in world at the store and they all come in full color pack huds!

We’ll finish up with do 9 and 10. You’re going to pick up number 10 — called Ivy — while at [Entwined]. It’s another elegant style there FREE with your FREE group join. Pure-ly for Men at The Wash Cart Sale

Serena has been sick as a dog for the past week, so she asked me to stop by and show you this awesome, mesh suit by .:pure:., which you can pick up at The Wash Cart Sale for just 10L! The sale ends tomorrow, so don’t delay!

Gavin Plays the Guitar

Ydea Style currently has this complete outfit out as a group gift for the fellas. The group is free to join, and includes the 2 shirts, pants, and shoes. There’s another fun thing in the box, which I’ll show you later in this post. 🙂 Oh, and my bracelet is a group gift from Chop Zuey Couture. There is one for either wrist – or both!

Three great freebies here: first, my skin is a free gift from ::Bite&Claw::. There is also a women’s gift in the box, which Serena showed here. My necklace is an older gift from RONSEM*, which was originally shown here by Love. It’s still available, so if you didn’t already pick it up, you still can! Finally, my eyes are a group gift from Madrid Solo Cosmetics. You need to join the group and check the notices to find the eyes… but they were posted a while ago, so don’t delay! There are also a couple of cosmetic gifts for both men and women available at the in-world store, so be sure to head over and scoop them up!

Remember when I said there was another fun thing in the Ydea box? Well, here it is! The outfit comes with this guitar prop, which, when you attach it, plays this lively guitar-playing animation. I decided that a still photo did not do the animation justice, so I decided to make this little piece of machinima. It’s my first attempt ever, and I know it’s pretty awful, but I think you get the idea. Oh, the guitar does not play music; I added it to the video. Enjoy! 😀

I’m an old-fashioned girl at heart. And yes, even a bit nostalgic at times. I love old-school Hollywood glitz and glamour, so you can bet that I’m loving the current round of Collabor88, where this month’s theme is “Raw Nostalgia.” Simple, yet complicated, but oh so romantic. :-)

I had an “instant crush” on this dress from *{Junbug}* as soon as I saw it. As always, the textures are amazing, and the way the dress drapes across the body is so sensual. Ok, ok, I know that wasn’t free. But what you can find for free is this lovely skin from ::Bite&Claw::. Look for a small gift box near the front door of the store. I know you can’t see my earrings (sorry!), but they look like a dangly version of the necklace. And they’re free… I mentioned that, right? ;-)
