Hello, Fabulous Readers. The other day in her post here, Aline shared a beautiful strapless dress that she found as part of the Wild and Free Hunt. Gus and I decided to check out the hunt as well and discovered this cute tank top that is perfect for those last few warm September days. I know I have a bunch of them left in my neck of the woods! I Got the Blues

United Against Covid-19

Unwind a bit

Is it just me or is this week flying by? I’ve been so busy in Real Life and here in Second Life I don’t know if I’m coming or going. I’d like to find a place to just wander and listen to the breeze in the trees. I guess I’ll just have to make do with this gorgeous new Sim I stumbled on. This is Mesmeric Cove and I’m having a great time just exploring. I bet you will to.

We’ve blogged a few times about today’s Designer but I want to really call attention to BSassy. This is seriously one of the most generous stores I’ve ever seen here on the Grid. The group is free to join and there are a ton of past gifts out for members. I lost count after thirty… That’s a TON. The dress I picked for today was April’s Group Gift and the jacket is from February. May’s Group Gift was so cute I picked it up too AND there’s a Memorial Day gift out as well! I may have gone a little gift crazy!

As Sweet as Candi

Happy Middle-of-the-Week, Fabulouses! This weekend, when Ripley and I were finishing up our holiday jaunt to Maison de L’amitie, a notice popped across my screen that I almost missed. Lucky for me, my hound with a nose for fashion brought it to my attention. I’m sure glad he did! It featured this adorable mini dress from B SASSY. With its feminine, floral print, side slit, and thin straps, this sexy little number will help you show off all your curves. I really like the mesh trim that lines the dip of the bodice. Best of all, Candi is completely free for members of the B SASSY group, which you can join for free. The Truth Is, I Need Some Puppy Therapy!

Hello Fabulouses! Aren’t these little guys adorable? Ripley and I stopped today for a picnic lunch on the Bay of Dreams sim, and while we polished off our food, these little stow-aways snuck into our basket. I guess we will just have to take them home with us!

I Discovered the Truth

When I logged on to SL today after work, I was thrilled to see a notice from the Truth Hair VIP group. Zoya, the free March gift, sat patiently waiting for me all bundled up in the group notices. This lovely updo style has whispy tendrils that beautifully frame the face, and a collection of curls pinned up in the back. You can add on optional bangs, and long front and back sections to change up the hairstyle. In my photo, I am featuring the bangs and the long section which has escaped the pins to flow down my back. I am absolutely in love with this loosely gathered updo! This versatile hairstyle suits both a formal look and the more casual outfit I am sporting today. To add Zoya to your inventory, you must be a member of the Truth Hair VIP group , which has a 350L join fee, but the one time investment is well worthwhile because each month, members receive a free full fat pack of a new Truth Hair design.

All Tied Up in Knots

My knotted top today is another 1L hunt prize in the What’s Your Category Hunt. The Alexandra shirt from Barbed Wire Kisses features a mauve colored fabric with a soft sheen. With rolled back cuffs and a crisp collar, this top is perfect for an afternoon in the park. The hunt prize package includes mesh for Isis, TMP, Curvy, Fine, Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya, Physique and Venus as well as mesh for classic avatars in XXS, XS, S, M, and L. For a daring look, you can wear this top all on its own, but I chose to pair it with BSassy’s cropped Mix and Match Venice Tank in Rose, which I picked up on the Marketplace for only 49L. It provided complete coverage yet fit snugly under my over shirt.

Looks Like I Need to Stock Up on Ripley Snacks

Our little surprise passengers’ tummies are growling audibly, so Rip and I had better scurry on home and fix up a batch of kibble and a dessert of the pupster’s favorite treats.
