Quite a while ago, Hawk showed me a new shop, Izumiya, that he had found. I teleported over, and looked around.. wow.. lots of freebies on the second floor of the shop! Well, several items found their way into my inventory where they were promptly got lost and were forgotten.. until now!
These are some really nice clothes, and I can’t believe I hadn’t opened the boxes before now. I have to admit to being really impressed by the quality of these items.

I stopped into Kakaue to pick up their white heeled chucks, and found so much more there. The Shop is literally loaded with freebies and dollarbies. Actually, it’s three shops (more?) under one roof, and most had a gift for their customers.
First, the shoes:
The white ones are set out as a gift. They are located right inside the front door near the new arrivals display. The black ones were a genie wish gift, you get a chooice of three gifts, I chose the black chucks. These shoes come complete with AO and sound, both of which can be turned off.
Now the clothes:
There are two outfits that I found. Both are sexeh. These can be found in the boxes at the back of the shop, at CIA Designs.
Last is an online indicator from Future Tech, upstairs. It’s a handy gadget if you want to try one out for your shop.. or even to set on the front stoop of your house.
There are several lucky chairs scattered throughout the shop, and a cute matching type game you can win some great prizes playing. It’s a randomised game rather than an actual matching game, but fun none-the-less, and a good way to pass time while you’re waiting for your number to come up on the lucky chairs.

If you’re a member of Discord (Imagination Believers), and haven’t been there in a while, you should make it a point to visit. There are a couple of newish group gifts available. These gifts are new to me, but it’s been a couple months since I’d last visited Discord, so they may not be new to you. There are several group gifts available, this is just one of them.
Discord always includes gifts for both males and females, I wish more designers/shops/sims would do this if they sell items for both genders.
Discord can be sort of hard to navigate, though it has improved somewhat from its earlier days. But the group gifts are located close to the main landing point. Don’t forget to check the numerous lucky chairs that are close by too, because these have some great prizes in them.

Heute, 17. April 2008, findet die große Eroeffnung (hat bereits begonnen!) eines neuen (deutschen) SIMs statt: COSMOS ISLAND. Eine wunderschön gestaltete Shopping Mall mit vielen Läden deutscher Designer lädt zum Bummeln (und auch zum Kaufen, ist ja klar!) ein. Nicht nur das, es gibt schon seit dem frühen Morgen eine Glückskleejagd und auch Glücksschweinchen laufen durch die Gegend. Ihr braucht sie nur zu finden und für 0 Linden zu kaufen 🙂 In den Glücksbringern sind tolle Preise, natürlich auch von den Designern aus der Einkaufsstraße! Ich hatte leider nur kurz Zeit, mir COSMOS ISLAND anzusehen und bei weitem nicht jeden Shop und die angebotenen Sachen, aber ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Die Läden sind sehr geschmackvoll designed und ich hab da ein paar Kleider gesehen …….. 🙂
Ein Gewinnspiel gibt es auch: Es gilt, Buchstaben zu finden oder für 0 Linden zu kaufen, ein Lösungswort daraus zu bilden und auf eine Notecard zu schreiben (Name nicht vergessen!). Diese NC gebt ihr dann SamyLee Kronfeld. Um 23 Uhr MEZ wird der Gewinner in der ROCKFABRIK bekanntgegeben. Preis:

Grand Opening Event today (started at the early morning) of a new german SIM COSMOS ISLAND! There´s a wonderful shopping mall with many shops of german designers. And you can get freebies, of course – you have to hunt small lucky clovers and lucky pigs. When you found one, buy it for 0 Linden and receive nice prizes (some of them are from the designers but not all!). There´s a raffle, too. It will be a bit difficult for non german speakers. You have to find letters and line them up to an answer. Put your answer and your name! into a notecard and drop it to SamyLee Kornfeld. At 23.00 MET (for different time zones look here) the lucky winner will be anounced at the ROCK FACTORY (club, disco). And the prize is: 4 weeks free living at COSMOS ISLAND – land and house you will get from the sim owner!
Other events: 18.30 MET Fashion Show at the shopping mall and at 20.00 MET until midnight party with DJ Sash (and a – secret! – contest!)
There are a signs with game instructions in german AND english (just found it!)

Chaotic post today- sorry! I´ll try to sort it a bit:
It started when I found new free hairstyles at ENTAMA TOWN . There are one male style H2L Shun3 newbie gray and one for the ladies H2L Kei3 newbie gray. At your landingpoint the hairstyles are pictured to the left and right at the entrance. Big pictures!
Later I got a FashCon group notice from UNFORGETTABLE DESIGNS giving out a free pair of high heels. Step into the store, turn to your left – a red giftbox is sitting on the ground including the free pink highheels Perway.
While visiting ANN DEE´s store I noticed her Free February Gift Pink Hearts Dress as well as a free 3 pack checkered male shirts (black, blue, green) . Both *Free February Gifts* are located inside the store. There´s a rotating picture above the freebies boxes.
PLATINUM has as new free set of Sophie Skin (Cherlindrea wrote about the skins earlier). New Sophie Skin comes with a bit darker skin tone and lipstick in pink, red and purple. It´s located in the womens entrance hall by the skin section.
While writing this post PLATINUM sent out another group notice offering a free male skin, too. Matthew skin is located at Platinum Men next the lounge. It´s a white box (the same as for the free femal skin) with blue letters sitting on the ground.

After I wrote about Claire Harfords Symphony Skins Shop , I came to talk (IM) with her inworld. Claire is a very friendly, helpful woman who does a lot of hard work. And great work, not only designing 
skins also clothes! And there is a really nice place she told me about: ONE at Hot Silly Peppers Labs, Afton. You will find a bunch of freebies and 1 Linden-items at ONE 1 L & Freebie Shop, all original designs und accessoires (cute Hug Teddies). Worth to check it out. Claire is thinking her earlier designed clothes aren´t good (aaaww!) but look what I have done:
I bought 3 outfits, each 1 Linden, and mixed them like crazy *g*
Eighties Classic comes with skirt, top, flexi skirt, legwarmers, armwarmers and necklace. Retro in Rose includes pants and a nice textured top. In Claire`s Closet Bargain Box I found a black leather skirt and and purple vamp corset.
Bewitched Hair and Al Design Black Ballet Flats complete my outfit.
A bit crazy, I know, but sometimes I love to be unusual 😉
Well, but I have something important to say about the skin I´m wearing!
While I´m exploring ONE I met another wonderful woman – Kryptonia Paperdoll, the designer and owner of Splashing Doll Skins. She told me that a skin named Mailin is a freebie for a limited time of about 2 weeks. You will find the skin into Splashing Doll store (step in, it´s right in front of you) and I´m sure you will like it, looks amazing.
I also would like to mention the great Photo Sphere by Claire Harford. I have done all photos with it and it was a lot of fun. Maybe next time I will change the background to something wild and crazy patterned or turn off all spots 🙂
