Well what a difference a day makes.  Yesterday I was sitting in snowy deserted landscape in a short sleeve shirt (?) pondering the thoughts in my head.  Today I grabbed a beer and went out to watch the sunset in a much better frame of mind.  I know Beachy and I complain about the heat, but man, that sunshine is important.

I’m lagging

Not in Second Life, for once, but I’m lagging behind in showing you these gifts, the newest ones set out for the DMSE group  Some of the gifts now seem to be separated into their respective store groups so I’ve updated this blog post.

My Boris Sweater is fantastic.  You don’t see a lot of fuzzy sweaters for men in Second Life, but I found one and it’s free for the [DUK] group.  It *HAD been under the DMSE group when I picked it up, but a thoughtful reader let me know it’s now under the [DUK] group which has a join fee of 100L. This is a fatpack, and has fits for :

  • Jake
  • Gianni
  • Legacy

My other gift is half of an outfit from [Mazzaro].  These are the Anthony shorts, and they also come with a hoodie, but the fuzzy sweater was calling me.  This has moved under the [Mazzaro] group, but the group is free to join. This is also a full fatpack of solids and a few camo textures to choose from and is also sized for:

Glimmer

I picked up a new set of tunnels on Marketplace for free the other day from Birth.  The free ones only seem to be rigged for men.  They are the Glimmer Gauges, and they come with an ornate tunnel and then an animated texture for the center.  This set has 2 textures that are tintable, hearts and magic.  Each of the textures is tintable too.  I tried to capture the look in my shot, pretty cool gauges I think!  You can currently pick them up for 0L right now on Marketplace, so hurry!

Seems like a good day for the end of the world, but lately every day kind of feels like that!  I wandered over to Everwinter, which has been redesigned for this season, one of the greatest post Apocalyptic regions in SL,  it just felt right for my new free outfit.

Slow Season

Now that Halloween is over, we’re heading into the slow gift month, which certainly feels like the end of the world.  It all depends on how you look at it, though.  For others, it’s a great opportunity to get those inventories clean and organized, because soon, we’re heading into the other busiest month on the grid 😉  Fear not though, there’s still some gifts available and I’ve got some to show you today.

I’ve often blogged the DMSE group gifts (DUK, Mazarro, Sturnsh and Elementarre) and I’m back at it again.  The DMSE is a combined marketing group for the 4 stores, and every so often they put new gifts out in their weekend sales area.  This week I picked up this new T-shirt from Sturnsh, and I’m wearing pants from Duk (that also come with a sweatshirt/not shown).

Both clothing items come sized for :

  • Jake
  • Gianni
  • Legacy

The Sturnsh T-shirt comes with a full fatpack of graphics for the shirt (or plain) and the DUK pants (and sweatshirt) come with a full fatpack of colors.  Just join the DMSE group for free, and pick up all 4 gifts on the tables when you land.  There are also gift outfits from Mazzaro and Elementarre.

New Ink

Recently, the tattoo stores MRGAGE and Laconic separated their groups, and changed to individual locations, and created new groups.  (Sort of the opposite of DMSE above lol).  MRGAGE has some new group gifts out and the group is currently free to join.  I picked up a few:

  • Free Lip Tats (BOM in a few different phrases)
  • Free Nail Applier for NXS nails

I don’t know if the group plans on remaining free, so best to head over and join now if you’re into ink 😉

Now, let’s get our inventories in order in case the world ends.  I’d hate to carry this mess into yet another life. lol

Heeeeeeeey Fabs, what’s happenin’ out there on your grid?  How’s your SL treating you?  Good I hope!  I’ve been on some travels and bring to you some gifts, all free, of course, the very best kind.

Another turn

There’s been another turn of the free gifts over at “DMSE” (Duk, Mazzarro, Sturnsh, Elementtare).  I’d get over there quick because I think I’m a week or two late in blogging these and they could change again at any time.  I’m showing you the gift from Elementtare today, the Allex set, which is the turtleneck, harness and pants.  Not too dressy, yet not so casual, and a full fatpack for each piece.  It comes sized for:

  • Legacy

All you need to do is join the DMSE group for free, and collect the gifts from the tables in the shopping square.

Fly away

A nice accompaniment to this outfit was the set I picked up at Zibska, for the L’Homme Magazine group.  The new August edition is out and there are new free gifts for group members to collect.  These gifts are listed on a page in the magazine, but also in a notecard in the group notices.  The group is free to join.  The Odille Set comes with the mask and shoulder/back pieces along with BOM make up for EVO X.  The set has a fatpack hud, and also the make up is tintable.  You can find it at Zibska for free wearing your L’Homme Magazine tag.  If you’re not already in the group, you can join from a kiosk at the store.

I came out to the beach to check the waves, get a little alone time, some peace and quiet ……. and what happens?

It’s all gone to the birds.

I don’t mind the little sand pipers so much, but when you live in Florida, everyone knows the seagull is called the chicken of the sea 😉  He’s over there, just sitting on my beer, because my cooler has no food.  It’s a pretty good bet when he flies away he’ll drop a load on my black hat too, because they’re spiteful like that!

I’m still enjoying my day at the beach, nothing’s going to bring me down.  I’ve got a new free outfit, a new free hat, and new attitude.  I’m sure that’ll change tomorrow, but when I get something new and free, it does always make my day.

DMSE is at it again!  I hope you all ran for those gifts the last time I mentioned them because they’ve been switched out again, just in time for the weekend.  I stopped over today and picked up 4 new gifts, and I’m showing you the ones from Mazzaro and Sturnsh today.

The Clark outfit is the gift from Mazzaro.  It’s a fat pack of both the T-shirt and the shorts.  The T-shirt comes in white or black with a bunch of colorful graphics to choose from.  The shorts come in a full fatpack of colors.  They fit:

I went whale watching today, mostly because I got a free outfit and it felt like something I should do when dressed in a vest, if I don’t have brandy and a cigar.  I’m a simple guy, so even casual outfits feel fancy at times.

Circle Back

Whale, whale, whale, what do we have here?  Office speak?   Pffft. I like the work of fashion blogger better than the office. Nonetheless I am circling back, because this gift is still up and I want to make sure no one misses these before they change again.  You know I’ve done two posts already with gifts from the DMSE group and now this is my 3rd.  Duk, Mazzaro, Sturnsh and Elementtare have a shared group, and every few weeks have been putting gifts out in their weekend sales area.  There’s one gift from each store, and today I’m wearing the gift from Elementtare.  It’s a full fatpack of both the shorts and the vest (with the t-shirt included) How generous!  It comes sized for:

Sup Fabs!

I keep doing these blog posts about the DMSE  (Duk, Mazzaro, Sturnsh, Elementtare) group, this cool little free group that only takes up one space, where you can get all the info from all 4 stores.  I keep doing these posts, because they keep putting out free gifts, and man, these are some really cool threads.

Pop over to the DMSE sim, and in the courtyard where you land are 4 tables, each one with a free gift from each store.  So far, they seem to be changing these gifts out every 3-4 weeks too!  Today, I’m showing you my favorite one, this Caio Jumpsuit and T-shirt from [Mazzaro].  I think I’ll be wearing this often.  There’s a fatpack hud for both pieces and different graphics for the T-shirt too.  It comes sized for:

Have you ever wanted cool tunnels but don’t have the lindens for some new ears?  [Hipster Style] has you covered.  I picked up these new group gift Rasputin earrings the other day and they’re so cool.  They are made for both men and women, and they come with a full fatpack of metals and this awesome color print design.  They are rigged for Lelutka ears, and you can wear right or left or both.  The [Hipster Style] group is just 50L to join.

I think Beachy has all kinds of stuff for me to go pick up for Pride month now, so expect more color next post 😉

‘Sup guys!  Look at me swinging back through so quick with another post for us guys!  Well, when I went to [Elementtare] to blog their group gifts, I noticed there were some ‘other’ ‘extra’ free gifts in the sales square, under another group.  I was planning on blogging those this upcoming weekend, but then I saw a notice those gifts had changed (already) what?  So I ran over and got the new free gifts, and I figure I’d better show them to you in a hurry so you can get them, in case they change again 😉

What are you on about?

Oh, I haven’t made myself clear I don’t think, normal for me 😉  [Elementtare] shares space with 3 other stores, [Mazzaro], [Duk] and Sturnsh.  They have a group named DMSE that I think they’ll be using to advertise and promote their products?  So that group has some limited time free group gifts in the sales square in this space! Each store generously provides a gift, and I got one from each store weekend before last, and now I’m here to show you the ones I got this past weekend.   I don’t know if there will be more gifts, but we can always hope 😉

Today I’m wearing the gift from [Mazzaro].  The Diogo Hoodie and shorts are both fatpacks of sportswear I was able to pick up for free, and they’re so very nice.  There’s about 8 different colors in the hud and they come sized for:

All you need to do is join the DMSE group for free by copy/pasting this into your local chat:  secondlife:///app/group/01681f2a-99d2-c32b-b60a-8164003b7cb9/about and then teleporting to the stores.  In the center of the 4 stores, each store has a table for sales items, and the gift from each store is on their table for you to pick up!  I also got boots from Sturnsh, interactive shorts from [Duk], and a sweatshirt and sweatpants from  [Elementtare] SCORE!  The notice said these gifts are available for a LIMITED TIME, and no one knows how long that time is, so I didn’t want you guy to miss it!
