Dead Fish Don’t Swim Home

Well Fabs, all good things come to an end. October is gone, and now we’re in November, which at least is beautiful inside of SL. Soon we can enjoy the winter sims and skating and adventing ♥ It seems something else has come to an end, my poor fish’s life. That’s how I wound up here at this pond to begin with, to give him a proper send off ( I don’t have a SL toilet 😉 )

Sayonara

To the fish, but hello to the free outfit. I found this freebie gift from Miwa’s Airship on Marketplace a while back, and was just waiting for a season change to blog it. This is the Warm coat, which comes with a FP hud to change the coat color and the t-shirt color. This is an older mesh, sized XS/S/M but it worked perfectly on my Lara X with the included alpha. The Warm coat is 0L on Marketplace, so you can order it up today!

Regarding the fish, he too, was a gift. I picked him up over at Static, where there’s a whole wall of fun and silly gifts. You don’t need a group, you can buy each one for 0L. I wonder what you’ll bring home? 😉

I Grow So Weary Of The Sound Of Screams

It’s another Halloween post in the daytime, friends. Because there’s no reason we can’t we enjoy Halloween when we’re not being dark and spooky. I guess today I’m going for light and spooky. It was just the perfect time to grab a drink and I even met my new friend back there. He’s kind of quiet but I think we’ll get along just fine.

Wasteland

I read about the anniversary round of the Wasteland event in Beachy’s post here and I knew I must go. This one is right up my alley, as Beachy said it’s on the darker side of SL and I’m here for it. Combine that with free gifts and there really was no other option. My free haul from Wasteland includes:

Free top from .E. that comes in two version in sizes for LaraX, Legacy, and Reborn.
Free makeup from Filth which is completely awesome and comes in like 15 separate layers. Naturally I am wearing all of them at once but if you’re looking for some shading or want something a bit less dramatic, you can do that too.
Free earrings from Axia – you’ll note that I’ve neglected to take off my “everyday” earrings but the gift ones are the cute scream face with chain which can be changed to black, gold, or silver.
Free drink by ALT3 with a choice between the green liquid that I have here or a nice red, and for the left or right hand.

The free event group is required to collect the free gifts. The gifts are a bit hard to see because the color kind of blends into the background, but you’ll see them there hanging to the side of the booths.

This round of Wasteland runs until October 18th.

Four Pink Walls

Don’t you just love it when you come across gifts you weren’t expecting to find? Well have I got something for you!

MeHoney put out this adorable free pom-pom headband as a gift for the New Year. The headband and the pom-poms are separate, so if you don’t like wearing fluffy poms on your head, you don’t have to, but, if you’re Beachy, you MUST! Fluffy poms are just about one of my favorite things, I have them on dresses and socks and shoes and now, my head! No group is needed for this gift, it’s just completely free for everyone, and it comes with a color hud for the band and the poms.

But wait, there’s more!

So as soon as I clicked the poster on the easel with the headband gift, I looked up and saw pics on the wall and a GIFTS sign over them. I couldn’t just walk away now, could I? I was thrilled to discover these too, were gifts for everyone, completely free and no group join required. How very generous of MeHoney. I chose to show you the Molly dress today, because the 6 color hud matched perfectly with the headband hud. I feel it wears more like a sexy nightie though, I had to put on some BOM lingerie underneath, and add a little lace coverup I had – it’s a little cheeky on the backside 😉 The dress comes sized for:

In The Mood

Happy Thanksgiving, to the American readers out there! I hope that your day is filled with food, family, and football. And to the non-Americans, happy boring old Thursday. I hope that you’re having a great day, too!

I’m not usually one to mix holidays. I wait for Thanksgiving to be over before moving on to Christmas. But today I had to make a slight exception. You see, the Xmas Hunt at Witchwood has started and that changes everything.

Which Wood?

If you don’t know, Witchwood is the home of both Petite Mort and Oubliette, and an absolutely gorgeous sim to boot. The Witchwood Xmas Hunt started today and runs through December 11th. If that’s not reason enough to get into the holiday spirit than I don’t know what is! All of my clothing is from the hunt:

The prizes are hidden in red and green presents spread across both stores and the outside areas too. The colors of the giftboxes stick out a bit so they’re not too hard to find once things rez in all the way. There are 11 prizes and each costs 10L. Everything is sized for Maitreya and Legacy.

I wanted to leave you with the ad showing all of the prizes, but I can’t find it on flickr or figure out how to save it from inworld. I’m such a noob. But you’ll see it right there at the landing point when you tp in. ❤

Don’t let the days go by

I can’t even think of any car terms off the top of my head to throw out and pretend I’m doing something to this shiny red car in front of me. Lame. But let’s skip all that and cut to the chase. No reason to be coy, right? My butt looks fantastic in these shorts. And even better? Yours will too!

Just 1L!

I grabbed this outfit by N-Uno on the marketplace for 1L! I realize I’m not showing most of it, but here’s the marketplace link so you can see the vendor ad for yourself. The shirt and shorts are separate pieces and they each come in 5 sizes, L-XXS. The outfit comes in the color I’m showing as well as a bunch of others. All for 1 silly little L!

Fifty Linden Friday!

I love a good pair of boots. I got the ones that I’m wearing here from paper arrow for Fifty Linden Friday. There was this pair and another darker shade for 50L each. Do I even need to say that I bought both? Yeah, ’cause I bought both… Each pair comes sized for Maitreya and Slink.

I want you to have it all

Have you noticed that I have this habit of blogging events on their last day? I don’t know what that’s about. I guess I just feel like I need one last hurrah with the fabulous gifts before it’s over or something. So today I bring you a couple more Cosmopolitan gifts. But wait, there’s more! I also have a great new gift that just came out last night…

Goodbye Cosmopolitan

The current round of Cosmopolitan ends today, so this is the last chance to pick up all of those awesome freebies. There is a group joiner at the door, and the group is required to get all of the gifts. But of course the group is free to join so that’s no big deal. I’m wearing 2 more of the gifts here:

The necklace by adorsy is rigged, which I love, although only for Maitreya. It’s a super cute style that I can see myself wearing a lot.
My outfit is the gift from EB. I know that I’m not showing all of the skirt but it’s tight, short, and kinda ombres at the bottom to the same pink as the top. I love how high the waist of the skirt is – it almost looks like a dress from the back but then the front shows a little skin in between. The skirt and top are separate pieces and each comes sized for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique.

Hello Chain

My earrings are the newest free group gift from Chain. You’ve really gotta go pick them up, they are even prettier in-world. The detail is just amazing. It also comes with a HUD to change them to 15 different metal colors. Chain’s group is 100L to join and the wall of group gifts is now up to 10, plus this new one. What a bargain.

We got nothing to lose, might as well take off our pants

What? I went jogging yesterday so today I’m going to sit in this chair in my underwear. Makes perfect sense to me. And I’m not sitting around in just any underwear, no way. This new super comfy and sexy underwear by Scandalize is simply perfect.

Underthings

The set that I’m wearing is the new free group gift from Scandalize. The gift is a fatpack and when Scandalize says fatpack they’re not messing around. There are 2 separate HUDs, one plain and one ombres. Each is packed with colors, and the top strip, bottom strip, and main part of both the bra and panties can all be changed separately. Oh and there are 2 pantie options, one with the number 63 on the bum, and the number color can be changed too if you choose that pair. Got all that? haha Let’s just say it’s a lot of colors, okay? I think this is just the sweetest dress. It comes with a HUD so you can choose from 4 different colors. I got it at Synford Style. When you land, you will be invited to join a group – that is not the one that you need to be in to get the free gifts. Instead you’ll need to join the Synford Style VIP group, which is also free. And my hair will shine like the sea

Today I’m channeling my inner bikini model and singing that one song from Clueless in my head.

Everyone will wanna look just like me

I’m not being conceited, it’s a line from the song! lol I found this super cute bikini at Glitter. I love the detail on the top. It makes it not just another bikini, if you know what I mean. This bikini, as well as a white one (that comes with a really great floppy hat), is a free group gift at Glitter. The group is free to join and you’ll find both bikinis plus a few other nice gifts on the wall around the corner from the front entrance. It comes in one size that literally says “one size” – not sure what that means but it fit me just fine so YAY.

P.S. I know that Love already showed you this Glam Affair skin. It’s a free group gift and you can get all of the details on her post. I tried not to wear it but I just didn’t have a choice, it’s the perfect beach skin. I absolutely love the tan lines, so cute. But do you know what one of my favorite things about Glam Affair skins is? The butt dimples. Seriously. Go put on a Glam Affair skin and try to tell me that the butt dimples aren’t freakin’ adorable. You can’t do it. Because they are. True story.
