Stay Wild Flower Child

Hey There Fab Free’rs I’m so glad you’re here! I’m feelin’ a little bohemian today in these fabulous group gifts I came across. I have to tell you, I also feel like I’ve been unintentionally shop-stalking Love lately. We seem to end up at the same stores for our freebie finds. I think that means we both have excellent taste! I picked up these hella cute sunnies at Scandalize not realizing Love had done some Fab Free style shopping at Scandalize herself recently. See what she found in her Ray of Sunshine post. Knowing I wanted to play up the retro feel of these over-sized sunglasses, I also picked up this halter top at Sexy Princess. Finally having always been a sucker for a cute tattoo, I just had to add in the March group gift from Aurica. Ultimately I am pretty pleased with the end result of these gifts all worn together, I hope you like them too!

Good Day Sunshine 

Sunglasses are far and away my favorite accessory. These FREE group gift sunglasses are available at Scandalize. They come in pink (shown) and red color variations and are equipped with re-size scripts for easy fitting. The Scandalize group is FREE to join. Stay Wild 

I think I must be eager for warmer weather, it seems I’m not the only one. I’ve noticed a lot of warm weather styles on the blog lately. This top from Sexy Princess called out to me. It said “Pru, you need me in your closet!” lol I live in a place where it’s hot more often than not, so halter tops are almost always in fashion.  This group gift is not only super cute, it’s completely FREE at Sexy Princess. Fiercely Cute

Well Hellooo. It’s a new day and I am glad of it. Yesterday I was feeling a little blue and thankfully Love was there to feed me brownies and listen to me while I talked through all that has been bothering me recently. I am forever thankful for the wonderful women in my life. Today I woke up with a renewed sense of self and a brighter outlook. Sometimes all you need is to talk it out, and the brownies helped too! You may or may not have noticed, I keep returning to this stance in my photos lately. I think it’s fierce, and I wanted to remind myself and everyone that we are all fiercely capable amazing human beings.

If I had to pick a pattern for the look of fierce, my go-to would be red plaid. This seriously cute dress is a FREE group gift from Rir Life. Cynful #bubblesHello Again Fab Free’rs! I’m happy to be here sharing the freebie love with you! Today’s post features my favorite type of shirt, sweaters/sweatshirts, and my favorite style of necklace, a choker. It’s not often that the two items look well together, but I think it made it work! I hope you like them.

For me one of the best things about fall is it’s generally the beginning of sweater weather. Unfortunately that hasn’t been the case for me this year in real life, it’s still a tad too warm for sweaters. Thankfully I get to retreat to Second Life and enjoy the sweaters anyway. Electric Love

Electric Love Hello again Fab Free’rs, I’m happy to be here, thanks for coming by and checking out the blog today! I’ve got some exciting things to share with you. As I’m sure you’ve noticed by now, we have started involving Second Life’s wonderful designers again and part of that involvement has meant some generous Fab Free exclusive group gifts. One such gift is this two piece skirt and sweater outfit from Pretty Kitty Design. Though the outfit is cute enough on its own, I added the most recent gift from Nar Mattaru. I’m a sucker for cute Halloween stuff, and this fun Halloween themed face tattoo was just too cute to resist.

Starting with the outfit from Pretty Kitty Design, there’s so much to tell you about I’m almost not sure where to begin! The top and skirt come in standard mesh sizes, as well as fitted sizes for specific mesh bodies. Each piece can be worn separately or together for the complete look. Now here’s where it gets even more interesting. The outfit includes a unique color change system called ARCTIC Tech that is exclusive to Pretty Kitty Design. What is ARCTIC you ask? It’s a hud driven color change system. This system has the ability to continually cycle through a spectrum of colors at random or allow you to choose a specific color that will not shift until you change it. If you’re having trouble visualizing what I’ve described, I understand! You can see a working demo at the Pretty Kitty Design main store. It really is cool to watch as the colors in the clothing shift. The ARCTIC Tech color change system changes the “colored” parts of the outfit only, the black materials will remain black. Next up, as I mentioned above, I found the group gift from Nar Mattaru too cute to resist! This gift is an applier for Catwa heads only. In the applier you’ll find several small under-eye tattoo options that include images such as this cute little bat under Pru’s eye. There are 8 total goth/Halloween themed images in the applier. To change the color of your tattoo, which is white when applied, you’ll need to use the main hud included with your Catwa head. Within the Catwa hud, you have the option of manually adjusting the cheek makeup color, this will let you change the color of your tattoo to anything you choose. The Nar Mattaru group has a one time join fee of 149 lindens. You’ll find this cute Halloween themed gift available along with a previous gift behind the counter at the Nar Mattaru main store.

Goodbye Summer Romance Hello There Fab Free’rs! Isn’t it exciting, our Fab Free blog has been bubbling with activity recently and it’s been marvelous. I’m excited to see all the posts from the new additions to our Fabulous team. For now I have some fantastic September group gifts from Avi-Glam, E.Vary, and Sevyn East I’m excited to share with you, starting with this beautiful pink paisley romper from Sevyn East.

You’l find this FREE gift on the counter in the center of the Avi-Glam main store. Included with the mesh eyes is a hud to adjust the size, and let you switch “full bright” on or off.

Finally, E.Vary has put out another beautiful skin for FREE to all their group members. This skin is named Yuli, and as you can see in the above photo, she has the option of being freckled or not freckled. Included with this gift is a classic system skin, a freckle tattoo layer, a cleavage tattoo layer, 4 shapes, and an applier hud with options for Catwa heads, Omega compatible heads, and Omega compatible bodies. Freak Show Fashion

Freak Show Hello Fab Free! It’s great to see you again! Don’t let the creepy monkey or the dramatic lighting fool you, the gifts I have to share with you aren’t creepy at all, rather they are quite fabulous! For this post I have three items to share with you, a group gift dress from Blaraby, a group gift necklace from ECCO, and a pair of group gift shoes from Empire.  This is one of those times when several gifts seem almost meant to go together. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Freak Show Close Ups There are several group gifts to be had a Blaraby, but this “Bambi” dress really caught my eye. I love the style, and the color. This mesh dress comes in standard mesh sizes and fitted sizes for Slink Physique, Slink Hourglass, and Maitreya Lara. You’ll also see a shelf full of previous gifts near by. The ECCO group has a one time join fee of 200 lindens.

Finally, I’m honestly never disappointed in the group gifts from Empire. September’s group gift is this laced up over the knee heel in two special colors. The gift includes a pair of shoes in red, and in purple to fit the bodies and feet for Slink, Maitreya, Belleza, and TMP.  Also included with this group gift is a color change hud to adjust the color of the sole, and the metal parts of the shoes. There is a one time join fee for the Empire group of 499 lindens. However, the fee pays for it’s self in the form of an always stellar monthly gift.

Flamingo Hello There Fab Free’rs! I know it’s been a minute since I put up a blog post, my apologies for that. Real Life has me on my toes these days. Hopefully I’ll find a bit of calm soon and be able to get back into a regular routine. I miss this! For today I have a few little things to share with you to create a cute everyday warm-weather look.

Starting with the eyes, or shall I say the eye makeup, Slack Girl has out a pretty set of eye makeup as a recent group gift. This pretty gift includes 3 variations of this pretty winged liner with a subtle shadow. The package has a Catwa/Omega applier for Catwa and Omega compatible heads, as well as classic system layers. The SlackGirl group has a one time join fee of 100 linden, however there is a full wall of FREE gifts including this one available to all group members. Don’t forget to wear that tag!

I really love it when designers make demos that are wearable. It really helps you see how an item is going to look, as well as allows you to test a product. The nails and rings Pru has on are a wearable demo from Angel Rock. The rings and nails are all part of the same single attachment, meant to fit Maitreya Lara hands. I found this pretty FREE wearable demo on the Marketplace. The rings are well detailed, and I genuinely like the colors. In the package you’ll find right and left hand attachments to fit several hand sizes, however you must be wearing Maitreya Lara mesh hands as well. You’ll also find a HUD in the package, however it is for demo purposes only. It will allow you to see the possible options of the full product, but it will not make any changes to your rings or nails.

Lastly, how cute is this top from AtiK?! I love the soft overlay floral pattern combined with pretty pink flamingos. This mesh top looks so cute on, and like it would be comfortable on even the most hot humid days. AtiK‘s in-world group is FREE to join, making this lovely group gift FREE as well. In the package you’ll get the mesh top in standard mesh sizes, as well as a matching alpha layer.
