Weird-O

I don’t find it weird, being a goof-ball is a fun activity in Second Life! These plugs for my Swallow XL gauged ears are called Weirdo plugs and they have all kinds of fun cartoon designs in the hud. They are a group gift at Knifu and the group is 50L to join (but there are also other gifts) or you can pick them up separately on Marketplace for 25L.

Ted Talk

OK we all know the first thing you noticed when you saw the picture was the adorable teddy bear hat on my head. This was a gift from a Man Cave Event in 2022 so you may have it, or you may not. Either way, it’s completely free in the store Don’t Dup along with all their other gifts. Click and deliver, or pay 0L and it’s yours, no group needed. It comes in black, grey and pink, so very clearly unisex. Don’t Dup is for sure a good stop to drop in and see what you want to bring home.

Hello hello from Cloud 9! Well from a cloud anyway. haha I hope everyone is doing well. I’m excited to share with you this gorgeous Lucky Letter Board dress from Apple May Designs along with a beautiful group gift hairstyle from Opale. I took the photo from the back because I felt like the back of the dress and the back of the hairstyle were quite nice. I love the long understated black bow detail in the dress. I also thought the little wisps of hair in the back of this long hairstyle were a nice touch. Keep reading for the details on how to get each of these fabulous finds.

The Hair – The hairstyle Pru is wearing in the above photo is Sofa by Opale. There is a free group gift version of Sofa at Opale that includes 3 color versions. There is a blonde, a dark blonde, and a brunette color with the pretty pink and blue color fades. At this time the Opale group is free to join. The Leo hairstyle shown below is another free group gift currently available at Opale. I also saw two group gift headbands.

The Dress – I think this sweet slip of a dress by Apple May Designs is really pretty. There are two ways you can score this dress for free or very inexpensively. Apple May Designs group members can participate in the Lucky Letter boards. There are two, one for each of the colors shown in the ad below. If you don’t want to wait for your letter to pop up and have a few lindens to spare, AMD group members can also purchase this dress for just 49 linden. There are also previous AMD group-only specials available at that price, just be sure to wear your AMD group tag. There is a one time join fee of 25 linden if you are not already a group member.
