Love is Love

“Love is Love”. That is definitely my mantra in life. I have never understood why people persecute or judge others for who they love. It’s so wrong. I am bisexual, so Pride has a special meaning for me. Sometimes people think Pride is just a fun parade filled with rainbows, but it’s really about the resilience and persecution all LGBTQ+ people have gone through throughout history and continue to today in order to fight for their rights. Plus, it’s about how important it is to celebrate LGBTQ+ people and identities! Happy Pride everyone! 🏳️‍🌈

Takin’ it to the Streets

Tis just me gang,

Sneaking in for a post. Ohhhhh gollygosh, it’s been a crazy rl time for me. Real life job stuff has had me on my toes the last week or so, coming to a head tomorrow (in a good way, hopefully!) So I didn’t forget about y’all! Just scrambling to keep up! You know when you have those waves of time where you know if you can just get done with A, B and C, you can regroup and refocus? I’m trying to get those things done now and hopefully by this weekend, be able to breathe again.

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine sadly rages on. Many of the designers have been creating wonderful items so that we can show our support for the poor people of Ukraine. I’ve got a couple more to showcase for you today so let’s get on with it.

A Street Fair Find

Street Fairs are still in!

I took a stroll down The Old Fashion 4th of July Street Fair, which is going on until July 9th, and was thrilled to see all the free gifts (woot free!) as well as the discount deals and low cost items. There were many free items I could have shown off for you, but in the end, I decided I would spend a little bit of linden to don the one thing that really caught my eye!

Ready for Independence Day!

At the G Sloane booth, I picked up this Mesh Flag Wrap Dress for just 10L! It comes in all the standard mesh sizes with a quality alpha as well and fits like a dream. (There were several other discount items at this booth that were just as pretty as well as a free gift basket!) I couldn’t resist the pretty wrap style, and the price was just right.

Another Hair Fair gift.

As I showed you in my post here, I went cam shopping for gift hair at the Hair Fair again. Don’t forget to check out my tip on how to get rid of that pesky issue that keeps you from selecting things that are far away. My post here tells you the special trick.

This time, I picked up this pretty hair from DUE called Crystal. It only comes in the one color (brunette) but it was such a lovely pony tail style that I didn’t mind deviating from my usual silver colored hair. And it was free too!

More July 4th Fabness

I know this post is a day late for Independence Day but the celebration does carry over to the weekend. YAY!!! It’s a long weekend for the hard-working Americans out there. I found more Fabness to celebrate the 4th of July. I had a lot of fun putting these together and finding different spots to take these photos.

I got this teeny red, white, and blue bikini at ViVi and it was a free gift for all. It was a great grab! Snowpaws had this really cute American Flag headband for sale ($100). I added these truly fab heels from Shoenique Designs ($99L). I thought the heels were well worth the price. This pic was taken at Ihla Brasil Rio. I loved the look of the surf and rocks right off the beach.

Next I popped on over to the Oahu Vacation Resort to visit the USS Arizona Memorial and pay tribute to those brave souls who lost their lives on that infamous date of December 7, 1941. They fought to preserve our freedom as we know it today.

My dress is fitted mesh from Paisley Daisy and was so excited to find this cute dress for only $10L at a limited Time Only sale. My shoes are the same ones pictured above from Shoenique Designs ($99L). I decided to change my hair to my favorite style, Sonja, from Alli&Ali. That was a very welcome MM surprise. Quickie: Happy St. Patrick`s Day from IVALDE and SF Designs

Do a search in groups for the group called Ivalde,Embla&Ask Design Group. (When I do a group search I use the phrase ivalde update group and it is the 3rd choice). Join this group. It is free to join.
