Snow on the Sand

Hello Fabulous Readers. Gus and I took a stroll on the frosty beach on the Frogmore sim. My free top and floral necklace had me feeling a bit nostalgic for summer, but I sure needed this new jacket I picked up.

Soft and Feminine

My new Tender Crop Top from Evie inspired today’s look. She features delicate shoulder straps, a cropped fit, and a delicate pink hue. I love the way the straps criss-cross in the back and lace together. This will be a perfect warm weather top, and I can see pairing it with cut-offs, a skirt, or capris. It might have a summery style, but it suited me just fine in SL when I slipped a fuzzy jacket over it. The designer includes a texture HUD with plenty of options for the top and strings. The Tender Crop is the latest free gift for members of the Evie Store Group, which is free to join!

Flower Power

To accessorize, I slipped on the Darner Necklace from FaeTal. I picked it up on the Marketplace for just 75L$. It features multiple strands, accented with beads, a dragonfly, and a daisy. The designer includes a HUD that you can use to show/hide sections and tint the metal. I used all six strands in my photo, but it’s equally cute with just the choker visible. I’m not sure how long this special price is good for, so if you like it as much as I do, don’t delay!

Snowbound in a Fairy Tale

Hello there, Fab Free! Gus and I hit some weekend sales today, and also picked up a cute tattoo as a dollarbie hunt prize. My canine sidekick was not happy that I cropped him out of today’s photos, but I gave him a crunchy bone, promised him he’d be in my next post, and all is forgiven. Phew!

Snowy Tendrils

If you haven’t checked out the Snowbound Hunt, there’s still a little time left to explore. You’ll be searching for ornaments hidden throughout the sim – and oh, what a beautifully decorated sim it is! Gus and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. One of our favorite hunt prizes is the Warm Snow Tattoo that I’m wearing in the photo. Just beneath each eye, delicate white, snowflake-like details add a whimsical, almost frosted touch. There’s even a sprinkling of powdered snow on my nose, although it’s hard to see in the picture. I feel like a fairy tale character when I’m wearing it. The best part is, it only costs 1L$, plus the time spent searching around the sim. It’s the 2nd prize offered by Adore&Abhor, and it’s so cute! If you like this facial tattoo as much as I do, don’t delay because the hunt only runs through January 18th.

Sweet Sateen

I found this delicate, feminine shirt at Riot for just 50L$ as part of the Fifty Linden Fridays sale. The Maple Sateen Tank Top is available in two color packs: the “Cottage Core” that I’m wearing and a “Silly Goose” version that has a cute striped option. She features slender shoulder straps, airy lace trim, and a vintage-inspired floral pattern. A texture HUD with six romantic prints to choose from allows you to customize the fabric. A separate HUD will enable you to customize the lace trim with 54 colors to choose from. I’m looking forward to wearing this beautiful top without a jacket when spring rolls around. Like the hunt, the Fifty Linden Fridays sale only runs through Sunday, so if you fancy the Maple Sateen Tank for your inventory, don’t delay!

Can’t Catch Me!

Happy Friday, Fabulous Readers! Today, Gus and I were cozied up at home while I unboxed and tried on my latest free hunt prize. Just as I was admiring the fit, a speedy flash of brown zipped past the window. Gus cocked his head, ears twitching, and we both heard it, light and taunting, floating on the cold winter air. “Run, run as fast as you can. You can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man!” That was all it took. Gus launched himself toward the door, and the chase was on. I grabbed a scarf, wrapped it quickly around my neck, and headed out after my determined hound, hoping my outfit was up to the task of pursuing a notoriously fast cookie through a frosty landscape.

My Beatrix outfit from Dirty Kitten Clothing turned out to be ideal for my winter sprint. The sweater is cozy, thanks to its long sleeves that keep the chill at bay, while its cropped fit showcases my curves. The low-waisted, light-wash jeans keep the outfit comfortable and practical. They hug through the hips and thighs, then release into a subtle flare. The denim is soft and flexible, making it easy to keep pace with an overexcited dog and a mischievous cookie. A simple scarf completes the look and adds a touch of glam. If you don’t care for the gray color I’m wearing, the designer includes a texture HUD packed with 12 colors to choose from. The best part of all is that you can pick up the Beatrix outfit completely for free as a prize in the Peace on Earth Hunt 16. Just teleport to the store and locate the globe hidden somewhere inside. Eventually, the cheeky cookie slowed down and paused at a charming little hot cocoa stand. I noticed him gazing longingly at the sweet treats, then I quickly purchased a steaming cup. I smiled at the little guy and stooped down to offer him a sip. He climbed into the mug, settled into the cocoa like it was a luxurious hot tub, then draped his arm over the rim as he relaxed. Crisis averted, cookie contained. All is well in Second Life.

Fifty Lindens

All I could do is visit my very favorite weekly sale and come here to show off my bargains. I’m wearing two great items from the weekend’s Fifty Linden Fridays list. This hair from Wasabi is definitely a must have, and includes bunches of sizes and a fatpack of colors/streaks/the whole shebang. The other items that I found irresistible is this dress from Cheezu. You can pick between this pink shade or a nice brown and I had a moment of indecision before going with the pink. It is so sweet and pretty and looks so soft, plus it comes with a fatpack of colors for the ribbon. Both my hair and my dress were only 50L for the Fifty Linden Fridays sale, which lasts through the weekend.

Snow Day

Hello Fabulous Readers! Jack Frost came a-calling, and I don’t mind one bit because it earned me a day off to frolic in the snow with Gus. Luckily, I have a new outfit to keep me snug even though it’s cold outside!

A Flurry of Snowflakes

First thing this morning, Gus and I teleported to the Glow store where my canine pal quickly discovered the snowflake hunt object in the Baby It’s Cold Outside 4 Hunt. This event runs until January 31st with more than 20 stops along the way. Prizes cost anywhere from 1L$ – 50L$. The Winter Knitted Dress prize from Glow features an orderly blizzard of white snowflakes lined up in neat rows over a dark blue background. Its curve-hugging fit creates a flattering silhouette while keeping you toasty warm. The hunt folder also includes over-the-knee socks and cute snowflake earmuffs. I love the way all three components coordinate with each other to create a snowy vibe. There’s a handy hint-giver in the store to guide you in your search for the hunt object. Once you locate it, all you need to do is pay the 25L$ fee and the entire outfit will be yours!

Snowstorm

Happy second, third, fourth Christmas readers! Since I found some holiday spirit, I felt like sharing some awesome gifts I received with all of you. This won’t be a one stop post, but some of these gifts are disappearing soon, and I don’t want you to miss them, so get prepared to hop around a bit!

A massive snowstorm happened up here in the mountains at my holiday getaway overnight. I’ve got a few things to keep you warm though. Pumpkin Spice

Hello Fabulous Fashion Enthusiasts! It’s that time of year when the air turns crisp, the leaves turn golden and our wardrobes turn cozy. Gus and I hit the Thankful and Blessed 2 Hunt trail this week and came away with today’s outfit. This event runs through November 30th and features hidden turkeys filled with prizes priced from 1-50L$.

Classic Meets Cozy

At the Simple Terms shop, we discovered this Harvest Homecoming outfit for just 25L$. The folder includes an entire ensemble from jewelry to shoes that blends rich fall colors, timeless plaid, and a hint of playful sophistication. With its rust-orange color, the top is reminiscent of autumn leaves. Its long sleeves will keep you toasty warm while its plunging neckline adds a touch of spice. Turns Out

Hi there, Fabulous Readers. Yep, I just took a DNA test. Turns out I am 100% that witch….but only until Halloween. At least, I’m decked out in style with my free hunt prize!

Trick or Treat

Gus and I traveled down Trick or Treat Lane for Dark Passions Events Hunt or Treat. We were searching for ghosts hidden around the sim, and let me tell you, it’s a tricky hunt. I’m lucky that I have my trusty companion’s talented sniffer to help me out! There’s no group required to participate in the hunt. The good news is, if you are short on time, you can opt to buy the prize in a treat bag for 50L$. I love this Enchanted Dress from JR Wolf Creations! This free hunt gift hugs my curves and has a fun, asymmetrical hemline. Although it looks black in my photo, it’s actually a rich, deep purple hue.

Summer is coming

Hello and Happy Monday, Fab Fam! Mondays get such a bad rep, but Mondays are my fresh start to the week. A week full of good things and new delights, if I’m lucky! And I’m certainly starting out lucky this Monday evening with my lovely new summer dress.
