OK Fabs, I’ve got a HURRY UP and don’t miss these free gifts post for you today!  There’s a massive rave festival happening in Second Life, this weekend only, called Cosmic Connection!  It’s a whole neon scene with DJs and giveaways and shopping and gifts.  I landed in the dance club, said hi to a large amount of people who were dancing, and hopped on the elevator to the 2nd floor where all the shopping is.

I got lucky all around at this event, because some of my favorite designers are there, so I had to type up a quick blog post for you!

Since I have a total crush on GATO textures, I bought her whole booth – these Luck pants being one of the items (these pants are rigged for male and female bodies too!)   Of course, I also adore [high v.] – such a fun store, and just my type of gift. lol

GATO always inspires me to to be quirky – and one of my favorite pose makers has quirky poses, and she has a new group gift, so of course I had to use one!  LOEL is the store I’m talking about, and there’s 3 new group gift poses on the desk called “my zone”.  In addition, there’s a balloon dog on the desk that holds a whole bunch of older gift poses you can grab!  The group is free to join!

I know it’s been one heck of a month with all the gifts, but don’t give up!  In July, you’ll be wondering what to do with all your time 😉

(Still A) Weirdo

Coming Today to Fab Free!

Man, I was so happy to be able to blog some QUIRK today!  I was at work and squealed when I saw on FLICKR that GATO was at Dove’s Dream, excited that I was able to put all this together looking so cute!  You may remember GATO from a blog post I did wearing the cereal shirt they have out at Palomma Plaza, as GATO is known for their super unique textures.  Now, the outfit I’m wearing was a purchase at Dove’s Dream but I’ve got some awesome free gifts to go with it!

First, the stockings.  Yep, another unique texture, and cool shine on these!  These aren’t just any old blue stockings.  They’re BOM so any body can wear them! Buy for 0L!

Second, the bag.  Mila Blauvelt does make some cool bags, and it’s not often you score one for free.  It comes with a metal hud and 2 different poses.  This gift needs the free Palomma Plaza tag to get it into your inventory.

Third, the hat.  Love.  I’ve got a million bunny hats, but none of them are a fedora!  Just the amount of funk I needed for this post.  This gift needs the free Palomma Plaza tag to bring it home too.

What an honor

I’m so glad Aline was able to honor Palomma with all her sunflowers in her post HERE.  There’s some people you never forget in any life, and Palomma is one of those people.  What a heart.  Great human behind that avatar.  It’s always an honor to pay homage to her.

Dove’s Dream is open until April 11, plenty of time to shop in her honor.

Ooooo boy it’s been a long time since I’ve been clubbing, but I was inspired by a pop-up shop of one of my favorite designers, GATO!  You may remember me blogging their cereal shirt here – that one is available free at Palomma Plaza – BUT – they have a pop up shop this weekend ONLY for you to demo and shop in world.  Otherwise, you can only find them on MP.  Don’t delay, I verified with the owner the shop will be up today but it will likely be gone on Monday.

GATO has put out a free gift for us, this clubber shirt in both pink and black.  It’s mesh netting, and only sized for Maitreya (5.3) but there’s also a ton of offerings in the store for BOM clothes.  You may remember me droning on and on (do I do that?) about their unique textures – and they are out in this pop-up!  I’m wearing a BOM bikini top under this netted shirt (5 colors for 30L!) along with these sheer leggings (30L!) I bought there too.  I know a lot of people are looking for and falling back on BOM until more comes out for Lara X so I wanted to show you these options.  While you’re there check out the textile collection (I also bought that which I demo’d and it worked with my Lara X with a little alpha) and her wild textures on the biker shorts.  There’s a baggy dress I demo’d that fits Lara X too.  All of the BOM is priced at only 30L in this pop-up, make sure you check it out!

Man-o-man, it has not been an easy day for Beachy.  She had this awesome free find to show you today, and then the gift just up and *POOFED*!  This happened last week with something I blogged too!  Then, I spent the day crawling the grid looking for lesser known places and gifts to show you.  I had a whole ‘nother awesome post then too, but I forgot to check and see if anyone had blogged it before.  Of course they had, because this is Fab Free and our bloggers are FABULOUS and never miss something great to show you!  I think I finally went through my Fab Free blogger hazing errrr, initiation.

So what does a girl do when the world turns against her?  She finds a quiet place away from said world, and  FLAKES out!  I’ve had this outfit saved for a few weeks, since I saw GATO added gifts at Palomma Plaza, and now is the exact right time to pull it out to show you.  I’m a huge fan of GATO, who has been on and off the grid for years.  They always make clothing with the most amazing, unique and colorful textures.  Nothing cheers a girl up like a big box/bowl of sugary sweet cereal – and this Cereal Top and Gold Leggings from the Textile Collection are such a fun way to pull a girl out of her funk.

So this outfit is only sized in Maitreya, but the leggings are BOM so those fit everyone!  I’ve been pretty lucky wearing other sizes when there’s no Maitreya, there’s no harm in picking up this outfit since it’s completely free, to see if it will work for you!  Palomma Plaza is always free to join, just flip on the tag and get all you want there!

I was going to make a joke about being a CEREAL KILLER here, but to fair, the outfit is so cute, it makes me more of a CEREAL SLAYER instead 😉

It’s always sad when a brand decides to sail off into the windlight sunset, but I supposed that is the nature of things in both RL and SL.  One of my fave brands, GATO is closing up shop, but is giving us all a bit of time to gather the rosebuds while we may!

There are all sorts of goodies to be had at GATO, but I really loved this dress (sized for Maitreya).  It’s deeply discounted to just 60L, and that made me pretty happy.  If you’re looking for even bigger deals, then I’ll point you in the direction of the Gachas, some of which are discounted down to  20L per pull.  Grab all you can now (don’t forget the group gifts too!), cuz Gato will disappear forever quite soon.   Thanks for the mems, Gato!
