Okay, now I feel back to myself, I’m much more comfortable today than I was in suit and tie, but I can still be thrilled, because again my outfit was free.

Hop around town

This is another post where you have to hop to a few spots to pick up these items, but it’s not like you need gas money in SL. 😉  First stop, the Valentine’s Shop&Hop.

I am already a member of the FLAME group, but if you head to their shop at the Shop&Hop you’ll find a 300L gift card that isn’t in the store for you to pick up.  The group is free to join.  You can use that gift card in the mainstore, which I did, and I found this dope outfit to buy.  The Conrad coveralls are a full outfit, tank, pants and wrap, all in one piece.  If you use your gift card toward the fatpack you also get some accessories to wear on your waist (You can add money to your giftcard by wearing it and paying the top up on the front desk).  If you buy the single outfit it’s 269L which is covered by your gift card!  It comes sized for:

  • Legacy

I’ve found a lot of legacy sizes work on the Gianni X, so I’m wearing the legacy size here, and only had to alpha some spots on my legs.

Next I hopped over the the Shop&Hop store KUNI for the free 400L credit gift they have.  As Aline mentioned in her post here, you can use the credit at the Shop&Hop where the styles are already on discount.  I’ve found it covers 2 hairstyles and one styling hud, so I bought the full pack of this Bernando hairstyle.

Last, CIN put out this spectacular tattoo as a free group gift for February.  The group at CIN is 349L to join, but the group gifts are not sold, and all the art is original and limited.  You have to wear your tag, and take the elevator to the group gift room, and you can access all of last year’s monthly gifts and the 2 gifts so far for this year.  It is unisex, comes in multiple BOM layers (just arms or just chest etc) and a full tattoo in different transparencies.

OK Fabs, today is the LAST DAY you can get to the Holiday Shop&Hop!  I know inevitably there will be lots of messages in the group chat next week saying ‘What do you mean it’s closed already?’ but a month goes fast, and you can’t say we didn’t warn you! 😉

It was a name for men who liked to build and race cars in the 50s, and I was feeling kind of James Dean-ish in my photo, so why not?  I’m wearing a ton of free gifts in this photo, and I’ve got some shopping tips for you too.  First, I honestly think I wore this hair in a blog post recently but forgot to blog about it?  It’s the latest group gift from Wings and Aline talked about it here when she showed you the female styled gift.  It’s part of what made me feel James Dean-ish today, so don’t miss it!  Group is free!

Sticking with my mid-century slang, let’s talk about the Holiday Shop&Hop.  Today is the last day.  There were so many great gifts and deals, let’s talk about what I’m wearing:

  • Free Shirt from BigBang (rigged for Jake, Legacy, Gianni)

We’ll start first with the Badwolf giftcard.  I went and shopped and came home with these anarchy gauges for Swallow S gauged ears.  They come with an ear tattoo too.  They were 349L at the mainstore,  so totally covered by my free 500L giftcard, and I’ve still got some money to spend, which is great, because I want more things.  😉  They are also unisex, everyone can use this gift!

Now, let’s talk about the 300L Hardcore giftcard!  I’m wearing 2 items in this picture I purchased with said giftcard at the mainstore, my jeans and my sunglasses.  If you do the math though, the regular price of both items together comes in at 306L, so you need to kick in a few linden.  HOWEVER!  The prices on all objects in the store is less if you are wearing the group tag and the group is free to join!  So if you join the free group, you can bring both these items home without a single linden spent.

I know I blogged about this event last month, but I just love ensembles in bright colors! it gives you an expensive effortless vibe, an air of elegance and sophistication.

This ensemble from AMUI is normally 350L but I got it for free with the gift card that they are giving away at the Fashion Mesh Event that runs monthly.  I also got the boots and you really have to try the demo on, don’t miss this chance!

When I just got in the store, I thought the style wouldn’t fit my taste but as I was zooming on the vendors, I realized there is something for every style, you like jeans and blouses? Amui has you covered, dresses? naughty costumes? ensembles? bodysuit? Ha! yes, you guessed it. About shoes, I loved a couple of boots and they also have several pumps, I’m sure you will love some, so give yourself a well deserved treat!

Go to Fashion Mesh event, join their group (it’s free to join) and get all the gifts, and hurry because this event is running only until April 23rd.

Ah, also! while I was shopping at AMUI the store kept throwing me random gifts at me 😀 I guess because I was the only avi there! I got at least 4 things that I haven’t even unboxed yet. So I’m pretty sure that there is NO reason to skip this store!

C’est la Seraphim

I have always followed C’est la vie, I think since they opened the first time, they were part of a nice group of creators that made SL so interesting and full of good taste of magical places, clothes, hairs… I’m glad some of them still survive as well as this lovely store.

They have sent a notice today that they have a new free gift for the Seraphim HUD, so since I have it since last I blogged about it, I just attached my HUD and got my hairpin while shopping at AMUI, wow, yes I enjoy shopping while shopping. 😀 You can get your HUD at Seraphim.

I love a store where you can go hang out, drink a coffee, get a balloon and maybe even take some snaps. I figured out that Monomania even has a Starbucks! I took photos everywhere, I had a lot of fun 🙂

I’ve known about this designer since forever, I always liked his flowy skirts and I still use a shirt that you tie at the waist. It’s just so cool! Every now and then he throws parties where he hands out gift cards, he recently put a 500L gift card to get on your rezz day… he has a VIP group where you can get other 500L and a big discount when shopping there. This time, he has a stand at the  Fashion Mesh Event, where you can get another 500L giftcard, by joining the group Fashion Mesh Event for free, which men can also take advantage of! I love fun fashion.  New designs really get me excited, and Brillancia is a store full of really fresh designs that are totally affordable.  In addition to their line of clothing, they have one of THE MOST EPIC free group gifts walls on the grid which includes a 500L giftcard!  The group is FREE to join!  This will matter in a hot minute.

So the Halloween costume I settled on (for tonight, anyways!) was an army outfit. It’s adorable and deffinitely something different from what I would normally wear. It’s fun to roleplay, and that’s what SL is for!

Fabulously Fan(Tastic)

Coming SoonHey Fab Free! I am hanging outside the Fabulously Free in Second Life Info Hub! There’s been a lot of talk about all the free gifts and sales we have over here by Jacx here and Arielle here, but I was admiring the beautiful Halloween decorating at the Hub! Shine in the Dark

Sparkle!

I have a new store to talk about today. I am showing off the lovely gifts at Ysoral. These gifts will give you the perfect jewels that will help you sparkle and shine in the darkest of places. The Ysoral group costs 245L to join, and I believe it’s worth the join fee. Ysoral gives away many lovely gifts to group members via their lucky boards, and they currently have two group gifts out at the front of their store- the lovely diamond and gem bindi I am wearing on my forehead and the long, red kitty cat nails I have on. There is nothing like wrapping up a late night with bite to eat at a quiet diner.  And this retro, greasy spoon is the perfect place to show off my swinging ’60s mod dress I found at RIISE.  Every month, RIISE gives their group members a free 100L giftcard, so I was able to pick up this dress for only 20L.  The group is 25L to join and the monthly gift cards never expire.  This dress is Norah – Edition 4 and has a cute pattern on both the front and back.
