Core culture
“Core” has been used forever, mainly to describe underground sub-culture, but this is 2025 and now it’s mainstream. That doesn’t mean GOTHCORE is mainstream though, there you’ll find all the coolest gothic sundries for purchase. I was there the other day and saw that have this new free dress as a gift for the GOTHCORE group, which is free to join, so I brought it home! It’s a fatpack of gothic colors, and you can change the main dress, the insert, and the sleeves. It comes rigged for:
- Lara X
- Legacy
- Reborn
I noticed, too, they have a new hud system where you can unlock more freebies to bring home, depending on your spending. Grab the free hud, and wear it as you shop. Each time you spend X amount it unlocks a new gift you can grab, cool!
GOTHCORE is open until August 12th, still a few days to get over there and do some shopping!

Alone With My Thoughts
Well the holidays are over, and everyone is heading back to work, and all the fun and festivities are gone, just when I found my holiday spirit. Decided it’s time to get back to my broody old self. Happy 2025! lol
Monsters
Although I’m alone with my thoughts, which can me monstrous, this is a monster appreciation post too. I read Beachy’s blog pic HERE and really wanted those syringe gauges too, so I took a trip over to Gothcore myself. I joined the CORE Events group for free and picked up a load of great gifts while I was there, so let’s show them off!

The wraith is wicked cool. My gauged earrings are little gingerbread cookie monsters even. Gothcore is open until January 13th so you’ve got a bit of time yet.

Also, I have been wanting to blog this shirt for SO long, but I could never find the right occasion for it. This is Justin’s Shirt by tiller, and it’s been on Marketplace for ages, but no one has blogged it that I can find, so here I am. It has a ton of fun graphics and designs, and this monster graphic is so fun. It’s one shirt, but it’s one slightly ripped up t-shirt on top with another underneath. You can purchase it for just 1L on Marketplace. It’s really well done. It fits:

Maybe it’s time to go find a distraction and get out of my own head (and this cold weather!) I prefer my monsters as attachments instead of thoughts. New goal for 2025 maybe? 😉

Enjoy The Silence
Hey hey you fabulous readers! Beachy told me the best thing about me blogging one day a week, besides bringing the guys some great free stuff, is that I can use some of her favorite music in my posts. See, she’d NEVER be able to create a post titled “Enjoy The Silence” …. lol, not our Beachy.
As it happens, this is the perfect song and perfect title, because it’s completely Quiet where I am. That’s the name of the SIM and I suggest you experience it for yourselves (with advanced lighting on)

So a few weeks ago I did a post about a new group that [Elementtare], [Duk], Sturnsh and [Mazzaro] have formed for their group of stores, called the DMSE group. They’ve been putting out new free gifts every few weeks, and I’m showing you the newest ones today. I can’t be quiet about these gifts until you’ve all picked them up!
My outfit, the Arthur outfit by [Elementtare] is one of the free gifts. It comes with a full color hud for both the shirt and the shorts, and has this awesome design, a lone swimmer graphic. Silence, ahhh. It comes sized for:

I also picked up these Kumagai shoes Sturnsh as one of the free gifts. They, too, come with a fatpack hud, and are unisex! They are sized for:

When you TP in, you’ll be in the shopping square, a courtyard of sorts, in the middle of the 4 stores. Each store has a table with sales on it, and also a gift. You need to join the DMSE group for free (paste this into local chat to join: secondlife:///app/group/01681f2a-99d2-c32b-b60a-8164003b7cb9/about ) and then grab the gifts. They’ve been changing these free gifts every few weeks, so it’s a great group to be in, especially if your group space is limited. You can get the notices from all 4 stores in this one group to stay in the know 😉
