Buy What for $3L??!!??

Harambee Hunts benefit the Harambee Gwassi Kenya project. One of the current hunts is also a fair; the Magical Spring 2 Fair runs until May 10th. Most every booth has a $3L hunt gift (look for the Magical Unicorns near the booths) and some also have free gifts.

I Scream for Ice Cream!

Am I being anti St Pat’s Day? Hmm, maybe a little. Spring is springing all over the place. Shovel off that remaining snow, plant your flowers, etc. In my case it’s time to sneeze! No mind, I still love spring; everything is fresh and new. Feeling a bit whimsical today I put together this really pretty outfit.

How Precious is it?

Prior to my return to blogging I had never heard of Telsiope’s Couture. I discovered the store during one of the FabFree Hunts last year. What a wonderful shop! It’s not a huge store but there is a variety of styles. Telsiope’s Couture also generously gives gifts to many different groups and regularly participates in hunts.

This dress shouts spring with the muted pastel colors and ruffles! I love being able to change my style on a whim in Second Life. You know, one minute I can be a sweet nymph and the next a dark dominatrix. Seeing as this is a mostly G rated blog, let’s stick to the sweet part. You can easily find the lovely Avril dress in the Spring Air Hunt 3 at Telsiope’s Couture. (Each item on the hunt costs $3L).

A New Spring Do!

No_Match not only has regular group gifts plus a room full of previous gifts at least once a month there is a discounted style for $100L/color. No_Home is perfect for spring. It’s a short style; almost pixie-like. Options with and without the hat are available. I think it’s really cute though my real life brother says it looks like my 2nd grade school picture, lol!

A few words about the Spring Air Hunt. The monies raised through the hunt support the International Kenya Scout Development Project. The aim is to encourage the development of the community of Nyandiwa (Kenya) and the areas surrounding Lake Victoria. The International Kenya Scout Development Project partners with Harambee Gwassi and sustains the relevant role played by working together with the population through sustainable and repeatable micro-projects that enhance local resources and local culture. It sounds like a wonderful project. You can learn more about it here.

If you’re a Doctor Who fan, like I am, you do not want to miss the “Who’s Who Hunt” from Madly Untamed Hunts! You only have until March 31st to find all thirty three prizes so let’s jump in. We have to start with the TARDIS. This is the TARDIS Closet from Fairy Angel Creations. The doors open and close to the familiar landing sounds. I’ve seen a lot of TARDIS  model on the grid and this is definitely one of the nicest!

And if you’re going to take a ride in the TARDIS you need to look spiffy. This is the female part of Beyond Persuasion Designs “Calling All Ponds” prize. The prize includes the boots, the tights and the tank. The male half of the prize includes jeans, shoes and a hoodie with ‘Come along, Pond’ printed on it. It’s so cute I almost modeled that instead of the girl’s gift!  But the hoodie would have covered up the necklace from Harambee Gwassi -Kenya Charity Shop’s ‘Time Lord’ jewelry set and I couldn’t have that. I just love the flowing Gallifrayen script!  The set comes with both necklace and earrings.

And of course I needed a Doctor so I dashed over to Hopscotch to play the “15 Jammy Dodgers and a Fez” Gacha  machine! I pulled a cute little Cyberman too. Hopscotch isn’t part of the Hunt but the Doctor plushie was too perfect not to include in this post.
