And so it begins…

That’s right ladies and gentlemen…it is that time of year. Advent Calendars have opened up all over SL today and I am a total advent fanatic. Soooo I went hopping around the grid to see what sorts of amazing things I could find to show you. Are you excited for all the advent calendars this year? Let’s start with these super fun thigh-high red boots. These are the 1st Day gift from Pink Mango. You must be in the group to get items at this store, but it is FREE to join and the gifts are FREE too! These lovely boots are fit for the following bodies:

Let’s talk about this cute little romper. This is the Day 1 gift from Meva. Their advent calendar requires the store group and it is 100L to join. The romper is fit for:

The gifts themselves are FREE but the HUD to get them is 500L. Honestly, I think this gift alone is worth that amount! I cannot wait to see what the other 23 gifts are!

I’ve been looking around at finding a new home. Finding the perfect place to call yours is never easy in a world where pretty much anything goes.

While looking on the Marketplace I found a couple of sweet possibilities. The first was a freebie from a store called Creative Decay. You can also pick this one up in world if you go to their store and join their group for free.

Its a 2 room skybox with plenty of space for you to decorate. It is a pretty reasonable 57 prims and is fully modify so you can change anything you want and could probably skim a few more prims off of the count if you really wanted to. It will just about fit on a 1026 square plot of land.

If you are wanting to decorate on a budget, then head over the LISP Bazaar’s 10L Garden where all the items for sale there are 10L or under. All of the furniture used in the above picture is from there.

While searching for a home, I came across another sky box by Creative Decay for 39L. This one seems to be only available on the Marketplace. The Coffee Bean Skybox has 3 usable rooms and is really spacious. It uses 67 prims but 8 of those are a removable fireplace.
