Is it a bird or a plane or even a UFO?? I’m looking at something in the sky but it ain’t all these pesky seagulls. You know how Aline loves hanging out in the forest in beautiful gowns. Forests are beautiful but I’m more of a sea side girl.

Lucy Hope, the creator of all things “Tiffany Designs“, is spoiling us with free gifts again. Aline’s post from last night features the latest free gift for everyone. Just a few days ago she made another free gift dress for all! That’s what I’m wearing today. The Lina dress features a very high front centered slit (Be sure to add panties or coochie covers or whatevah!). It includes a 20 texture hud with both solid and patterned textures to choose from. Heaux, Heaux is Around the Corner

Yes indeed, Christmas is just around the corner. In my part of the world things stay green with a few brown or orange leaves all winter. Like the song lyrics above there are some days I wish I could just skate away. Thank you, Joni Mitchell, for expressing my feelings some days. I’m not saying Christmas isn’t jolly or tons of fun with my crazy family but wouldn’t it be nice to go skating away on a frozen river.

I Don’t Think I Can Skate in This Dress

But I can keep warm in this sweet cold weather dress from Telsiope’s Couture. You can find this with a wee bit of searching for a wandering elf at the store and it will cost you only $3L for The Wandering Souls Hunt 4. This hunt benefits the Harambee Gwassi projects in Kenya. They fund community improvement and schools there.

On to the dress! Teresa is Telsiope’s Couture’s hunt gift/donation. The owner & creator, Sitlan, is a strong supporter of this project as well as other charitable groups. Teresa is a simple design done well. This cozy looking dress hugs your curves while keeping you warm. It comes in this lovely color only and covers all your bits. A Little Late

CLASSSS!! Attention! There are 5 more days to grab all of the FabFree Back to Cool Hunt prizes!! There are some really cool items on this hunt so get a-hunting. I’m doing something a little different today showing off some furniture for the schoolroom along with my outfit. It’s rather fitting that I’m in a classroom setting as I attended my nth high school class reunion this past weekend. It was fun seeing all of my former classmates and catching up with them.

I think I look cool for school, don’t you? Of course, I don’t usually dress this demurely; but hey, anything for our blog! My outfit is courtesy of Amazing Creations. The Dress with Jacket 13 looks girly and frilly and rather festive. It will set you back only $1L. The dress has only 2 parts: the jacket and dress are one piece while the cut bow attachment adds 2 bows and a lacy piece on the bottom. Both pieces come with a color wheel tinter hud.

This song was in my head when I dressed for the day. We bloggers are always looking for scenic places to shoot pics. So I thought, church. I set off to find a church. As I searched in the listings for church I found one on Hao Atoll. It’ a beautiful French Polynesian paradise and I highly recommend a visit.

Yesterday was the start of a new month as well as the start of a new round of SL Mesh Body event that started on August 1st. You need to join the free SL Mesh Body group to pick up the gifts. Many of the participating designers have discounts on their items. There is also a central room with gifts. The gorgeous Fergie dress I’m wearing today is the event gift from Jumo Originals and it free when you activate the group tag. This dress has classic styling lines with a beautiful texture.

In Love with Love

I love Valentine’s Day Season. Blush and Sunset Pink are my favorite colors, and I love to love. I am a die hard Romantic, and Valentine’s Day is full of beautiful things that I simply love looking at. I couldn’t wait to pick up Raindale’s February Gift….I mean LOOK at this beautiful setting? The set comes with the heart shaped trellis, the bench, the adorable stuffy bear, the heart walkway, the flower tree, the tray and the little bucket. It all comes in parts AND in two versions ready to rez. The bench has poses for singles and couples (PG) and adjustments for both position AND rotation. You can move things around and make the space your very own. I added the petals and roses, so they are not included.

The group costs 250L to join, but the monthly gifts are always amazing. The holiday gifts are ALSO amazing, and there also cool hunts like they had for their Anniversary. In my game of Group Space Tetris, Raindale is never on the cut list, and is very worth the buy-in.

Overall, I had a fun time putting a love scene together, and hope you enjoy it, too!!!

Weeeeee! It’s Friday!

Nectarine Heathered Romper FLF 3

It’s Friday! Fridays can be wonderful; the start of the weekend or the end of a busy week. When I was way younger Fridays meant hanging out at our local bar/venue to hear all the groovy rock bands from New Orleans. Now it’s just another day in any given week. However, in SL, it’s about Fifty Linden Fridays! Woot Woot!

What I Found Today

First I traveled to Nectarine, a store that is new to me. I spied this uber duber cute romper in the sale gallery for only $50L! Can I get a squeee here? It’s the Heathered Romper. But wait…. there’s more – you get 2 rompers in the pack. One is the valentine print shown here and the other is a soft pink.

Another pack is available for $50L. It contains the valentine print on a black background & a grey solid. I think this is a pretty cool addition to anyone’s wardrobe. It’s playful with a nice easy breezy feel to it. The unpacker HUD allows you to choose what fit you like: Maitreya, Reborn, or Legacy. I absolutely love these HUDS because I don’t have to fill my inventory with sizes for bodies I’m not currently using.

I Scored the Red Hair

Earlier this month I showed the No_Tendencies hair from No_Match here. The hair is in a NextUp machine for $50L. I originally picked up the grey hair so I kept checking the machine until pack #4 came up. So yay, I got my reds now. I love the details featured in this style.

I am NEVER able to pass up a swanky pair of boots. Big bonus points if it’s an animal print. Today’s Fifty Linden Friday offering from [Gos] is the Ash Western Ankle Boot in Leopard.
