Light My Fire
Remember last week when I said Beachy’s retirement plan could well be ‘3 hots and a cot’ (ie: jail)? Well, I’ve got a better plan, and if she starts to behave herself I might just bring her along. Living on a remote island away from everyone is a pretty good plan, I’d say, as long as we can find/grow food. Well, I can fish, Beachy can garden, and maybe we’ll adopt a monkey who can climb the trees for coconuts. Heck, if anyone has a small plane we can use for food runs, join us, maybe we’ll just make a little commune 😉
Surf’s up
I did find the perfect spot, an abandoned wrecked submarine over at Cannabia Beach. Somebody has already made their home here, there’s surfboards outside and beds built inside, but nobody has returned to claim it. I’m sure there’s a lesson here I need to learn but we’re just going to ignore it. 😉 Everything else I need, I picked up at the SL22B Shop&Hop, so let’s discuss!

Catching Waves & Rays
Though you can’t see my surfboard I am hanging ten today. I wandered to South Pacific Surf & Scuba to catch a few waves. I highly recommend it as it is beachy and tropical. It’s also tropically sunny. I’m really stoked to be catching some waves today.
The Ink
I’m a subscriber at Inkdependent and every now & then the creator has free gifts. It won’t cost you a thing. I’ve got this very nice tattoo named Like a Butterfly. You get one BOM layer to fit over your belly. It’s another thing I like about SL. You can change your tats at will without needles. I says “Just like the butterfly, I too will awaken in my own time.” Very appropriate for me these days as I tend to nap a lot!
Lots of Bikinis
I recently tried my luck at the Mermay hunt. It seems a lot easier to find all the pearls in the current setting. Ari-Pari has 5 different colors of the Shellie bikini set out for you to find. Each pearl containing a bikini is priced at $5L. I’m wearing the magenta color. It’s a little teeny but hey if the bits are covered, go for it. The Mermay hunt runs until May 20th at 11:59 PM. There are all kinds of cool things to gather. Prices run from $0 – $25L. Keys are provided so use them wisely.

Got to Have Shades
If you toodle on over to the Mon Cheri Outlet store you will find a selection of free gifts on the wall to the right. Some of them are gacha gifts (everything in the gacha is the gift). Today I’ve got my Spring Finds sunglasses on. I really need them when surfing. They’re really cute with little flowers adorning them.

I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar
Happy International Women’s Day! On this wonderful day, may you be reminded of how incredible you are! Here it is 2025 and women are still fighting for equality. If you do an web search for International Women’s Day you’ll find all kinds of history behind this celebration of the fairer sex and numerous quotes about it. One of my favorites that you may have heard is “A strong woman doesn’t just survive the storm—she becomes it.” Let’s all band together to be a storm that brings about change.

Beachy started us off today with a post about a gift for the day. I have another gift that is completely free to get once you click on the subscriber. Inkdependent has a tattoo gift out by the desk once you enter the store. It comes in 3 opacities and proudly proclaims, “Women, Life, Freedom”. It’s very well done and I am proud to wear it.
I traipsed over to Viona the other day to check it out (but I can’t remember why!). Anywho, I wound up joining the free group and scoped out the group gifts. There are five free gifts for the group behind the customer service desk. I picked out the Nicole Skirt & Top. Note that the adboard only shows the skirt. but the top is included. I love this vibrant shade of pink! As you can see there is a high slit in the skirt adorned with gold chains. I’ve seen similar outfits. This one’s fitted top has spaghetti straps so it is different from others.

OK, my romantic tactics in Paris didn’t work, so I decided to go another route. Instead of looking for love, maybe I’ll just play the part of Cupid and bring other people together? It’s either that or surround myself with beer and food and ignore the holiday altogether. That doesn’t sound so bad, actually, but I don’t think you all want to see me blogging my old dirty clothes 😉

This was a really fun free outfit I picked up over at the Valentine’s Day Shop & Hop. Now, I know you wouldn’t necessarily roam the grid dressed as cupid on any normal day, but it’s love month, and also there are lots of themed contests in clubs! This was very nicely made and textured, it’s a full outfit with the pants and boots, wings, jewelry, the bow and the halo. Oh, my halo! Haven’t seen that in a while 😉 You can pick it up completely free too, by stopping into It’s Gau at the hop! It comes sized for:
