Hello my dear Fab Fam! I know, I know, I’ve been AWOL for quite a while now. Unfortunately, my surgery recovery isn’t going as well as we hoped and another surgery may be in my future. 😦  And that thought really put me in a funk. I know ya’ll know what it’s like when real life gets it’s teeth in you…  But, getting back here with all you fine folks always makes me smile! And freebies… well that’s all the better!

I know Ms Aline and Ms Beachy showed ya’ll a couple of great freebies from the last Miix Event waaay back in February but a new round is here and it runs until April 20th and there are still loads of free gifts. You just join the Hype Events group for 0 Lindens and start to clicking

I picked this sweet little top and shorts set from Luxury. The “Debbie” set comes with a huge HUD for the top, the shorts and the belt. And by huge I mean 40 swatches! I love the happy Summery colors and the pretty floral print. The top and the shorts are separate pieces so it makes for good mix and match material for the ol’ wardrobe. It’s also a very nice build and is a good quality texture. It’s well worth your time to check out.

Hey there, Fab Fam! I certainly hope ya’ll are enjoying the week, I sure am! I am loving getting back to the freebies and hunts and friends. I’ve been, of course, collecting all the great prizes on our own St. Patty’s Day Hunt, but I didn’t forget that there are tons of good hunts celebrating the “Wearin’ O’ the Green” For example, the Shamrocks and Shenanigans Hunt!

My first stop was at Ari-Pari for this cute and festive shorts and tank set. The “Lucky Shamrock ” set comes with the top and bottoms as separates so you can easily mix them into your wardrobe. There is also a HUD to pick from six solid colors for the top and six patterns for the shorts. Don’t they just look so comfy? And that little 1L is easy on the wallet.

My next stop was at The Artist Shed to hunt down this little pot of clovers. I love well made decor and the “Potted Clover ” is certainly that. The rezzable pot is only 2 LI and has a nice drop shadow all for just 1L.  I do warn you… this one takes a minute to find. But that’s half the fun, right?

After hunting down my prizes, I realized, I needed something cute to wear jewelry-wise. So, I headed to the Marketplace. I found this lovely little shamrock necklace for just 1L. Almost like it was meant to be! “The Love and Luck” necklace is by Kerriki and there are several colors besides emerald with each one being just 1L.

Well, hello there you beautiful people! I have returned from slightly unpleasant Real Life adventures at last. I had to take a few weeks off because clumsy me broke her foot and needed surgery! I now have five brand new pins to set off the metal detectors in the airport.  Even though I’m not 100% yet, I couldn’t wait any longer to get back with my FabFree Fam here! Especially with our own St. Patty’s Day Hunt starting up.

Hey Hey, FabFree! Now right up front I’m gonna say “FabFree is, of course, the very bestest free stuff group on the Grid!”  And I doubt you can change my mind on that one. Heyya Fab Fam! Oh the weekend is upon us and the Grid beckons us with hunts, and sales and events galore. I ran across an Event this week that’s new to me and a great source of all things weird. And I say weird in the best way possible. Something I love about Second Life is the really ‘out there’ creative stuff designers come up with. And this event has the “out of the ordinary” in full swing. Plus, this event is full of free gifts for us! Just join the free to join Second Life Syndicate Group and grab those gifts.

First up are these gorgeous bell bottom slacks from Killjoy. The “Shadow Bells” are rockin’ the high waist silhouette and the texture is so so nice! Each size comes with an alternate “bulge” to cover lots of different avatar’s styles.

My arms only jacket… would that be a bolero? Anyway… the jacket is from Web Dew who I always associate with creative clothes. The ‘Amaris’ jacket is made to fit with a dress on sale in Web Dew’s booth but I tossed on a BoM corset already in my inventory and I think it works great! The coolest thing about this jacket is it comes with a HUD to change the color of the “glow”. It’s subtle but very nifty!

Lastly is my new hat from Cryptid. The “Noir” fedora will fit with any outfit in your wardrobe. I can promised you that because it comes with a huge HUD to change the color of every single part of the build. And that HUD… has forty colors.

My gorgeous new cocktail dress is from Poeme, one of my fav designers. This is the “Big City Kitty” dress and the name confused me for a second. It wasn’t until I got it on that I saw the subtle leopard print on the fabric! I’m not usually a fan of animal prints but this one speaks to me. Hey hey, Fab Fam! Maybe you guys remember me saying before that I really love vintage looks. Well, I never dreamed I’d be putting together a lovely vintage look when I headed down to the Designer Showcase Event. But sometimes… the Grid just all falls into place and hands you everything you need… for free!

First, this sweet dress. This is the “Joelle” dress from Hilly Haalan. I love the ruffles and the flutter sleeves. It’s such an elegant silhouette that was popular way back int he ’50s. But  I gotta talk about the HUD that comes with this dress ’cause Oh. My. Goodness! First you get a HUD with twenty five swatches of fabric patterns. Then you get another HUD with FIFTY plain color choices! Fatpack alert! And what can you do with all those choices… You can change the sleeves, the ruffles and both the back and front of the dress. Mix all that with the typical Hilly Haalan quality and you’re the Grid’s darling.

Now, like I said, sometimes everything comes together to make the perfect outfit. And that’s what happened here with the perfect vintage look shoes. Last on my list are these gorgeous pearl earring from Jumo Originals. The “Emily” earrings feature delicate golf bows and shiny pearls with all of Jumo’s high quality. The earrings are kinda huge when you first add them but you can resize them to fit any ear.

Hello all my Fab Free Family! I hope this brand new week is treating you right. Our blast of winter cold is easing up a bit here in the real world. But I’m still all about the comfy sweaters. So when I saw S@bbia had a sweet cozy set up for the free January Group Gift, I had to have it!

This is the “Knit Topper Cardigan and Wrap Skirt” set and it comes in two pieces – the skirt plus the cardigan and top. I always love the soft pastels S@bbia uses on so many of their clothes like the pink on the cardigan. The skirt is short but still modest so I’m not flashing my butt cheeks. (That’s a trend I honestly wish would go away) All in all, this is a sweet casual Winter look and I’m here for it!

My new little friend is also fluffy and soft! I fell in love at first sight with the “Tiny Kitten” companion from SEmotion. I mean… how could you not?
