To accessorize, I slipped on the Ayashe Necklace from Second Nature Jewellery. It features two strands of delicate gold chain accented with jade stones, and echoes the hue of my jacket beautifully. I love how it is versatile and can be worn with casual outfits, yet it will also look quite elegant with more formal attire. Whenever I find free hair that looks fabulous, I just have to do a little happy dance. This sleek Light Up hairstyle from Ade is so pretty! Misty Morning
Hello there, Fabulous Readers! Gus and I are out for a stroll at Le Monde Perdu after a day of shopping at the mid-week sales. We found a couple of goodies to share with you!
Cooler Mornings Are Coming (Aren’t They?)
In my neck of the woods in RL, I can only dream of a misty morning walk with a bit of chill in the air. Fortunately in SL, I can make whatever weather I want, so early fall it is! My Micol Azure Jacket from Anastyle is just right for warding off brisk morning temperatures. I think everyone needs to have at least one denim jacket in their closet. This one features a relaxed fit, loose sleeves, and that perfect patina that denim gets over time. It’s designed to be worn without a shirt underneath, and I must say it looks quite sassy that way. However, I chose to layer it over a tank top to be ready for the warmth of the sun later in the day. The Golden Hour’s Summer Light
Hey there, Fab Free! Happy Tuesday! You know, I’ve never been a morning person, but one of the things having a young puppy like Gus here forces me to do is to get up at five. Every. Single. Day. I’ve come to enjoy the peace and quiet the early dawn hours offer and the soft, diffused quality of the sunshine. It’s like it’s only just my pal and I, alone in the world, except for the peeps, chirps, and tweets of awakening birds floating in the air. The old Wren, who cherished extra hours of shut-eye, just wouldn’t have understood, but now I revel in this tranquil atmosphere. Here in today’s photo, we’re enjoying a quiet stroll along the deserted sand at the Love Kats sim during those hushed moments at sunrise. Thanks for introducing me to the magic of the golden hour, Gus-Gus!
Let’s Do Some Summer Light Shopping
Yesterday, Gus and I decided to check out the Summer Light Fair and Hunt 4. This event runs from now until September 5th and focuses on everything related to summer – the sun, sea, shells, beaches, swimming, ice cream, and camping. You name it, if it relates to summer, you’ll probably find it here. Each booth in the fair features summer themed items to purchase, a blue tropical glass hunt object priced at just 3L$, and many of the designers are also offering free goodies as well.
My top today is part of the free gift found at the Telsiope’s Couture booth. There’s no group join required, and no hunting around, either. Simply touch the gift bag and Rebecca will be delivered to your inventory. The folder includes a complete outfit with a bralette and coordinating skirt, as well as a texture change HUD packed with 20 patterns for the top. It’s like getting 20 shirts in one for free! I was torn between the red and white polka dot design and the tropical motif I am sporting in the photo. I opted not to wear the skirt portion of the outfit since I wanted it to be black to match the background of the tropical print, but it was pretty with racy cut-outs at the hip.

Keep More Pennies in Your Pocket
Over at the Justice store, I found this adorable Cindy Skirt for just 50L$ as part of the 75% Off Retiring Soon Sale. This sexy mini skirt features pockets to keep all your essentials and includes a texture HUD so you can adjust the colors of the rivets and the built-in phone. A separate panty control HUD allows you to customize your look further. I purchased the Baltic Sea hue, but there are 15 other shades to choose from. Single-color varieties of the skirt cost 50L$ each, or you could pick up the entire fat pack of all sixteen shades for 300 L$. I’m not sure how long the retirement sale will continue, so if you like this Cindy Skirt, I’d suggest teleporting over to Justice soon.

Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground
Sigh. One of our favorite months in Second Life has come and passed. October is such a fun month here, all the regions change to autumn, and all the residents dress up in costumes, and there are always so many fun things to do (not to mention all the free gifts!)
And then, before you know it, it’s November. November is one of those quiet months, where you should have time to clean and sort your inventories from the hustle and bustle of Halloween events (sure you will – lol). Fortunately, there’s still some events happening that will transition us between Autumn and Winter (and their holidays!)

SpiderWoman
I had to come up with 4 different Halloween costumes for this weekend but with all the great events and free gifts I had lots of inspiration and here is just one of my costumes, I call her SpiderWoman, not your typical superhero but she still does some good deeds here and there while creeping people out with her giant spider sidekick and evil looking eyes.
Myrtle, the spider sidekick is from Mooh! and she is part of the Black Widow Avatar I previously blogged HERE. My eyes and eye tattoo is a free gift from Dotty’s Secret at the FLF-o-Ween event.

Spookiness Galore
Are you ready for another round of Shop & Hop? I think it should officially be called “Shop Till You Drop”. It gets bigger and bigger each round with a total of 16 sims of goodies for Halloween. Tons of gifts and lots of sales abound so get your walking or running shoes on!
