There’s really no explanation for it. I’ve been to Vaki Kvaki bunches of times – it shares a sim with Eternus and I’ve bopped over countless times to check on the lucky boards. Why then, have I never joined the free group and checked for free group gifts?

I didn’t manage to join the Analogic group last time it was free. I have high hopes that I’ll get it next time. In the meantime, there are other ways to get freeAnalogic! Carol’s Store is one of the stores that handed out free store credit. Group members were gifted with 500L of store credit. Even better, all of the advent gifts for this year have been set out at 50L each *and* they can be purchased with the store credit. I love the advent calender at Carol’s Store because it’s got a really great range of gifts, they’re not all Christmas, or even winter, themed. Once you’ve rounded out your advent haul with any days that you missed/want, you can use the free credit on whatever else you’d like in the store. The credit doesn’t expire so there’s no rush! The only disclaimer is that I don’t know how long the free credit will be available to pick up. It’s been out for a bit now so you should definitely make this your first stop. You need to be in the Carol’s Store group to get the free group gift, and that group costs 10L to join. You’ll also need the group activated to purchase the advent gifts.
A Gift from Yoshi
A free gift card at one of my favorite eye stores? Yes, please! I love Yoshi and if you’re not already a member it’s only 10L to join. Yoshi is giving out a free 500L giftcard to group members and since most of the eyes are available for only 99L per color I had a fun little shopping spree and came away with just the shades and styles that I wanted! The eyes I’m wearing here are the Cerulean shade from the Kitty 2 collection. Yoshi is great for really interesting and sci fi sort of inspired eyes, but I tend a bit more towards the natural and there’s plenty of that to be found as well. They’re also great because they come in a wide variety of appliers to fit whatever you wear plus mesh eyes. Be sure to make your way up to the third floor while you’re there, that’s where some other free group gifts and discounts can be found. The 500L giftcard, however, will only be available until January 4th.
A Gift From Borderline
My final stop for tonight is the reason for the earworm in the title of this post, and that’s Borderline! There are some free group gifts that I just love at Borderline to finish out a look. I had never been to this store and I’m so pleased to have discovered it, it’s got a really great vibe and I want all of the things there. I’m wearing just one of the free gifts up on the wall today and it’s my vampire fang lip piercings, which includes a HUD of metal colors to choose from. The group is free to join so you can get in and scoop up all of the free group gifts. It’s quite a gift.

Saussi recently put out a new free FabFree group gift, and it’s this sexy cardigan. It caught my eye so I went over to try it on…and then things got even better. You see, the cardigan is the free FabFree group gift at Saussi AND they have the shorts out as a free gift for the Second Life Frees & Offers group! Yes, please. I walked away with a full outfit featuring fun details like the little pompoms and the asymmetrical line of the shorts, completely for free. Each piece come in this bright pink only, but with a HUD that lets you change all the rest of the little detail bits. My second stop was at Faga, for this cutey cute hair! It’s a super fun little bob that also comes with a selection of bangs to wear with it. I’m not much of a bangs girl though, so here we are. It’s another FabFree group gift, so all I had to do to get it for free was click the vendor at Faga while wearing my free FabFree group tag. At Faga the group gifts for the FabFree group and some of the other groups kind of compliment each other as well. The free FabFree group gift that I’m showing you today includes the hair, bangs, and a huge HUD of color options. I sorted inventory a bit yesterday. I love the idea of a tidy inventory, and often even the illusion of one. Sadly when you’re a shopper and freebie collector like me with limited SL time, it pretty much stays an illusion. Not to mention that inventory cleaning sessions are typically cut extremely short when I come across a thing that I just have to photograph or wear, or that inspires me to do some other non-inventory sorting thing. Sigh. Certainly someone out there can relate?

There are six gifts right inside the mainstore and they are free group gifts for the freeOff-Line group. These gifts are great because they’re great quality obvs but also cover a range of styles. You’ll see what I mean when you try them on. I’m feeling a bit risque so I’m wearing the Trisha dress, which might be more string than fabric with quite pleasing results. It also comes in a fatpack of colors. This salmon shade did the trick for me.

Nope, I’m not done yet. Fifty Linden Friday is still my favorite weekly sales event. I can’t believe it’s been around for 14 years! I remember when it began. I also happily dropped 50L on this gorgeous skin from Glam Affair, in a complete fatpack of skin tones with two brow options each, and even a bunch of makeup included. There are toners for lips, eyes, brows, and more so I’m wearing a couple of those too. Glam Affair skins don’t come in Velour shades, but I find that the Beige matches my normal Sienna tone quite nicely.
