Hot Summer Days

Good afternoon, Fab Folks! I don’t know about where y’all are at in the RL world but around here it’s getting hot! Summer seems to be coming on early this year.

I know that it doesn’t get too hot in SL but the RL weather makes me want to dress in something light and cool for the warm days. This cute denim skirt from KDM really fits that bill. This is the ‘Mini Denim’ skirt and it’s the free group gift right now. But even if you aren’t in the group, KDM has generously offered the set of skirts in four starry colors, for just 1L!

While you’re in KDM, be sure to check out the gacha machines. I found these nifty ‘Bow Flats’ in Sky for SLink flat feet for only 50L per play. They go rather well with the skirt, doncha think?

Last but not least, Phoenix has set out a new group gift for us. This is the Laura hair and the gift comes with ALL the colors in HUDS plus a HUD to change the headbands color. The group is a nice low 50L to join.

The Hipster Fair (Part 1)

Hey everyone! It’s friday! I’m excited because as soon as I publish this post, I’m heading straight over to C88 to try on everything! But I’m drifting off-topic!

KDM has 3 cute luckyboards up with a shirt and two dresses, including the one you see above! It’s set on group only but the group is free to join. If you don’t have a slot free or if you’re impatient/unlucky like me, you can buy all of the luckyboard prizes for just 30L$ each! Bargain!

While I was at KDM, I saw a bunch of landmarks on the wall for affiliated stores and decided to check out Amato. I was definitely not disappointed when I found a 1L$ gacha for this little milk-carton mouthie and these pretty fish socks! I had to be a little bit sneaky with this stockings though, they don’t come with slink appliers so I had to wear appliers for a different pair of white stockings so that my feet wouldn’t show (my shoes are slink add-ons) but I think it’s a pretty good colour match, and a good technique you should consider if you ever want to wear stockings that don’t have appliers with your slink feet. Amato also has a bunch of free eyes, hairs, and a gift for newbies who are under 90 days old!

Tiana’s post here made me want to brush the dust off my M3 head and try out some free appliers I found (she also showed off this adorable little alpaca avatar that I just HAD to pose with!). In case you missed it, the other day I did a big post on Candy Mountain‘s group gifts, well it just so happens that they have set out eyebrow mods for the M3 head as a gift too! The eyebrows come in 5 different styles, but I’m wearing short in these photos. If you check out the post I made, you’ll see why 75L$ group fee is a tiny amount to pay in exchange for all the free goodies you can swipe up!

I also came across a store on the marketplace called SmexyL that were selling some great eye mods for free! They come in lots of colours and textures are beautiful. Not to mention, if you leave a nice review on the marketplace listing, the owner will send you these great glasses as a thank you for free!
