SPOOKZILLA!

Ok y’all… it’s Spookzilla time!  This hunt is my fave every year, even though it’s sooooo frustrating sometimes.  If you’ve never Spookzilla-d, then the deal is, you are searching for tiny ghosts all over the sim, each 25L or less.  There are no hints on this one, just squint your eyes and go for it.  There are hundreds of designers taking part, and you can find all their keys right HERE.  Here’s what I’m wearing:

Neo-Japan

The Neo-Japan event has been running for a little while already, but I nipped over to pick up these gifts by Gabriel and knew I had had had to show them off.  The jacket (so nonchalant) with matching top exists for both female and male avatars, and there is no group join required to grab it.  Just buy for 0L.  I also found this skirt in the Gabriel booth as part of another outfit – and there’s a male version with pants too.  You don’t want to wait too long, mind – Neo-Japan is only running until the 17th.

Making my way downtown… on the neon subway.  As one does.  My goodness, I wish RL was as extra as SL is sometimes.   Wouldn’t a commute be much more fun surrounded by neon?  I mean…maybe not every day.  But just now and then.

A Wander

I was looking for a cute top to pair with my new jean shorts and headed over to Palomma Plaza.  Wandering around the tables with my tag active (the group is free to join at Palomma Plaza!), I found this cute cropped tee from FurtaCor.  Of course, as is their style, there are loads of other textures to choose from in the HUD, from plain to some swirling pineapples.  I was in the mood for some pizza today.  There are loads of free gifts at Palomma Plaza, you’ll always find something new when you look!

The Dress

Off-Line has a tendency to put out a bunch of free group gifts each month, and I have a habit of picking up those free gifts and showing them to you. There wasn’t a new batch of gifts set out in January, and I certainly wasn’t mad about it. But NOW I’ve checked for February and would you believe it? There are double the free group gifts for the month, 7 items that are the January group gifts plus 7 more for February! Just head to the store and you’ll find the free gifts on the wall to the right of the front desk in the Off-Line store. The group is free to join. I went with this sexy little number in one of my favorite Off-Line shades, cobalt. It’s a bit brighter than my windlight makes it look and quite lovely. You can choose any color you like though, because each gift is also a fatpack. The sizes included are:

To Accessorize

There’s also a new free group gift out at Lempika. It’s the earrings that I’m wearing and I love them so much, they’re just my style. I turned my head to show you but I realize they’re a little hard to see still. Do zoom in though or better yet just up and tp to Lempika. The group there is a 10L to join. These earrings come for both human or elf ears. I couldn’t get them to just deliver, so simply pay 1L and it will be immediately returned to you.

My song today makes me way too happy. Theater nerd, party of one. It all started when I leapt over to Havoc and saw that there’s a new group gift out since the last time I was there. It’s slinky and sexy and red and a little bit see through. SLove. The dress comes in two different opacities per body style and pro tip: you can seamlessly wear them both at the same time and have a non-see through dress. But I was feeling a bit saucy so here we are. The Havoc group is free to join and the free group gift is there in the middle at the landing point waiting for you.

Stand On Top

I hesitate to even mention this next item, because I absolutely have not done it justice. But I need to tell somebody! Zadig has the best skybox out for Happy Weekend, AND it comes with furniture. I’ll add a picture below so you can see how awesome it actually is. The skybox is really unique and well made, plus it’s only 3 li! A three prim skybox that looks good is music to my ears. And as I said, it also come with a full living room of furniture where each piece can be rezzed out separately. If you set out all of the furniture in the skybox, it only adds an additional 16 li. I’m super impressed. When you go to Zadig you can then tp to the demo to have a look for yourself. The skybox including furnishings is currently 60L for Happy Weekend.

I’m heading to the bowling alley!  It’s time to do some bowling type things, which I assume involves some form of rolling of a ball down a narrow strip of floor.  Or maybe it’s just about eating deep fried foods and wearing weird shoes.  Whatever it is, I’m down!

Hello, Fabulous Readers.  I don’t know about your part of the world, but soon, the first snowflakes will fall in my neck of the woods.  I have just the thing to keep you snug when the days turn chilly.  Even if you aren’t expecting flurries quite yet, this outfit is still perfect for the season with its fringed scarf.

Bring on the Ghosts and Goblins

In my last post, I told you about one of my hunt discoveries, and today, I am back with another.  I decided to explore the Hunt on Haunted Hill 5 this weekend.  Over at the MadCatCreations Boutique, I located the hunt object (a cute little ghost) paid the one Linden dollar prize fee, then scurried on home before nightfall.  Believe me, I don’t want to be out on any haunted trail after dark!  With a realistic, heather-gray cabled knit texture, long sleeves, and generous hem, this sweater is sure to keep you warm in brisk weather.  I like the vee-shaped, plunging neckline and appreciate the dark scarf decorated with spooky skulls.  If the autumn winds get too strong, I can always wrap up. 🙂  You can wear the sweater and scarf together as I am showing, or separately for added versatility.  Each of the 23 stops along the Hunt on Haunted Hill trail cost one Linden dollar and all coordinate with the Halloween theme.  The event runs until October 31st, so there’s plenty of time to get your hunt on.
