Well Fabs, I figure I’d better get in my warm weather posts now, since so many winter gifts will be coming!  Winters in Florida are a lot like spring, though, so I’m still in my wheelhouse, ugh.  It’s all made better by a dollarbie dress and some freebies though, so let’s get to it!

The black

Well, this blog post was going to be a night out on the town type post, but the pink snuck in and so did all the flowers.  Let’s talk about my outfit first …. I went Marketplace shopping!

My dress is a gift from FreySL I found on Marketplace for 1L!  It comes with a FP of colors and was just what I needed to go with these stockings I love I’ll tell you about in a minute 😉  This dress is sized for:

While you’re shopping on MP, don’t pass over these beautiful stockings.  They are BOM and are currently a free gift on Marketplace from Dark’s Creations.  They come in white and black with this cute little floral design and since they’re BOM they’ll fit everyone! The pink

Putting together this Black Friday sales list has been quite the undertaking, I’ve done too many stores and they’re all jumbled in my brain.  That being said, one of the first sales I learned about was at Kuni, where she has a bunch of hairstyles for 75L-99L.  She also put out some other group gifts I didn’t have, so I joined the group for free and brought them home.  I’m wearing Juliet, which is this fun shaggy do, that has a bit of a punk fade in the back.  It comes with a Plumeria flower and a fatpack hud for both the hair and the flower.  (Fun fact:  I have a Plumeria tree in my yard, and these are the flowers they use to make authentic Hawaiian leis!)

Wasteland

Wasteland

Well October is off to a killer start, no pun intended (maybe just a lil) 😉   There seem to be hunts and gifts galore already, and one I didn’t even expect, it’s the 1st Anniversary of the Wasteland Event!

Gifts for all

Wasteland is a shopping event on the darker side of Second Life, which is exactly what we’re looking for this month!  There’s gifts for everyone, even if you don’t lean to the dark side 😉  I’m wearing 3 gifts I picked up there!

On a high note, it will give you some practice for all those spooky hunts this month 😉

Let’s Get Sunburned in Sicily

I worked so hard for my first post that I decided I needed to take a vacation.  😛

Jokes aside,  where I live it keeps raining and raining every day, that I am eagerly waiting for some sunny days and warm breeze! It’s about time!

The other day I was shopping at Chain and noticed the warm ambiance that guided me to a hidden oasis that reminded me so much of Sicily where you can find these little spots and just lay down your towel and swim on the warm sea, get a tan and relax without being overwhelmed by tourists, just a few locals that will smile at you and even offer you their umbrella if they see you frying too much under the sun, lol.  I felt nostalgia so immediately I knew that I had to make a post in this place to, at least virtually, enjoy that wonderful sun that yells “summertime”.

What to Wear?

As soon as I decided to get a bikini, I knew who I had to ask for advice, the specialist, the person who has a sunny beach in her heart: our lovely Beachy who guided me to this perfect one piece from Bombshell that comes in several colors with and without the strips. The hat! the hat started everything I promise! I love hats in RL I try to use them with my outfits as soon as possible so when I saw this hat as a dollarbie at Ghee, I was in awe. They have a lot of dollarbies under their desk (I know, maybe I shouldn’t be zooming inside their desk) but hey, at least I found all the goodies! They also have a lot of group gifts, the group is paid and I was very tempted to join but I have too many that I paid for! so I have to carefully think about which one to leave. Yes, I’ve reached that point.

Whenever I am on vacation I take my accessories with me, but I try not to pack some expensive piece of jewelry as it’s almost sure that I will be losing it or misplacing it. So I take bijouterie that is made to wear during that vacation or I even buy myself some cute souvenir from the spot, these necklaces reminded me of those necklaces that people offer me and I sometimes end up buying. The green crystal gem is from Asteroidbox, its a group gift and the group is 75L to join.

OMG the hair!

The hair in SL is not messy as it gets with the salty water, sun, sand and everyday shampoo as it gets in RL but my problem was finding a hair that would fit inside my hat lol so I finally came across one of the group gifts from KUNI. The group here is free to join as well.

Finally I finished the look with the free gift “HD Neon Lipsticks” for LeLutka Evo X by Top1Salon. Cast The Spell, Just Say The Word

I’ve had a song in my head for the last few days and I cannot seem to stop singing it. I heard it in an advert and now its lodged in my brain! So I’ve been trying to distract myself by looking for some great deals for you guys! Hope you like them!

Boom, Clap, The Sound of My Heart

Guapa has some great group gifts out right now that include skins, make up and skin accents that fit both LeLutka Evo X and Akeruka Advance.. and the best bit? The group is completely free to join! I thought I would show off the Yume Skin in the Porcelain skin tone. The skin is BOM and comes in 9 different tones that will work with Velour skin tones.  Then I used the Gemma Blush, Beauty Marks and Freckles pack.
