Yo Fabs!  Some days I can’t be sure if a picture like this is more like Halloween or more like RL, but here we are at Everwinter, a post apocalyptic spot where I spend a lot of time in world.  Today I’m dressed the part, thanks to 25L goodies I found at Spookzilla and a free gift.

Hunting

I know men think that they’re left out of the gift game, but really, you just have to look a little closer. If you go through the 414 hunt keys for Spookzilla you’ll be sure to find something you want to bring home.  I bought almost my entire outfit there!

These are all such great deals.  I actually would have been able to wear the pants and the boots on my Jake body with alpha, but the shirt clipped in the back.

There are 2 regions you’re hunting on, and you’ll get a NC when you land that has the hunt keys for each region so you know which to hunt on.  Spookzilla is open until November 3rd and you can also see all the hunt keys on FLICKR HERE.

Added fun

For a bit of authenticity I had to use this free gift I picked up at Kustom 9 from ATTIC.  The Nuclear Lantern is just what I needed to complete this look.  The Kustom 9 group is free to join and you can shop and collect the anniversary gifts until November 10th.

Hey hey Fabs!  I’m trying to mix up my Halloween posts between dark and gothic and fun and spooky as often as I can, because we love both parts of this holiday, don’t we?  Well, the opportunity presented itself with my fun new outfit, and of course, I found all the other accessories I needed for free at the Halloween Shop&Hop!

Charmed

First let us talk about this fun and colorful outfit.  It’s the newest gift free from ASO! for the Teleport Hub group.  Most of us are in this group year round, it’s only 10L and there’s a wealth of gifts on the grid you can bring home.  This outfit comes with the top and pants, which can be worn separately.  It’s only rigged for Legacy bodies though:

  • Bombshell

I did try it on my Lara X and I can get the pants to work, I can even get the top to work, but I’d have to wear hair long enough to cover my back.   I wore the free Legacy body in my library for this post instead.

Hey hey Fabs!  I’m just back from the 1st Anniversary round of the FWRD Event, and everybody’s looking at me!  I’d like to think it’s my rugged good looks, but errrrrybody knows it’s my new outfit, which, of course, was free.

The FWRD Event is huge and they’re celebrating their 1st Anniversary, so there’s loads of gifts.  I dig this event, because it introduces me to a lot of creators I’m just meeting for the first time.  There’s gifts for male and female avatars, and if you accept the experience when you land, it’ll add a little birthday hat to you head, how fun!  I do have loads of things to show you so let’s talk about what I brought home:

I may look contemplative, and perhaps I am, but I’m contemplating how generous and kind so many designers are in Secondlife.  I’m back again, wearing another new dress that I love, and again, it’s completely free.  I find all my happiness in SL! (cuz RL be crazy yo!)

The gift comes courtesy of Hitogata!  So many generous gifts from Rica lately, I’m overwhelmed by her talent and generosity.  This beautiful floral dress is made for Legacy and Legacy Perky, but I’m wearing it on my Lara X, and just had to alpha my chest a little.  That’s a huge win, because usually I have trouble with my back when wearing Legacy on Lara X but not this time!

In true Hitogata style, there are multiple parts of this dress you can change via the hud, and a tint hud.  The combinations are endless.  As always, hurry to get this, as her gifts don’t stick around long.  You can find this on the black bunny on the top shelf of her little space, just buy it for 0L.  Her tip jar is there too, to say thanks. ♥

Hot Ghoul Summer

It’s time for the Hot Ghoul Summer Hunt, and I’m kicking back in some cute clothing in my goth girl space.  There are a lot of fun prizes to pick up, but I headed to QE Designs first for the decor items.  Search for the little pentacle hidden around the store – each prize costs just 25L.  I found the lounger, the towel (or carpet) and the table here, though you can see the other prizes available below.

My second stop was Hanzel for the outfit – again, each item is just 25L, and I picked up the top, the bottom, the hat and the black HUD for this look.  It comes sized for either Legacy or Reborn (keep an eye on which body you’re buying for using the key below), and I used the Legacy body in my Library folder of my Inventory (which everyone has!) for this pic.  Comes in handy!

Free Legacy Bodies & Lelutka Heads for EVERYONE!

Well well well, if it isn’t Aline and Sky showing off their new looks!  It’s all about the big news coming straight from  your inventory – new free Avatar welcome packs for everyone!

Wait, WHAT!?

You may have heard the scuttlebutt  in the FabFree chat, but yes ma’am – there are free amazing gifts for everyone tucked away in your inventory library section called “Avatar Welcome Pack”.  And this isn’t just any avatar – it’s a free (pared down) version of the Legacy Body, and Lelutka heads galore.  These are made to be the the most simple version of each (without any HUDs, and skins already in place) so that new residents of SL don’t have a huge learning curve to make their avi look absolutely spiffing.   There are very simple instructions on how to put these on located in the folders, and you’ll find three looks for Female avatars and three looks for Male avatars.  You can also copy these items to your inventory in order to play around with them more if you’re a more advanced user.   Aline is showing off the Female Body C look, and the clothing is the “female club look” by Addams.   Sky went with Male Body C and Male Casual look.

You’ll be surprised to find other great free items in the same folder from your favourite designers like Stealthic, OMY, Mellow Ellie, Gabriel, Cold Ash and LeLapeau.  There’s a lot to explore.

What a great new feature from Linden Labs (who have totally been kicking it out of the park recently).

Go check your inventory, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve got another time sensitive post for you guys today, from the maker of the last time sensitive blog post I made 😉  It was Valentine’s Day yesterday, and to spread the love, Rica Andel of Hitogata put out a new free gift ♥  You can see my last post HERE.  The skirt is gone, but there’s a new version of the shirt available for free too.  Please leave a tip if you can 😉

Perked up!

Now, this gift is only rigged for Legacy and Legacy Perky.  (< Not true, keep reading lol) I bought a Maitreya Petite add on just so I could wear her designs.  I do have a bit of a gap between the dress and my skin though, and I would need to wear hair down my back to cover the alpha gap, but it’s wearable for me so squeeeee!  I tried first the Legacy size on my Lara X, and there’s some clipping in the breasts, one of these days I will learn how to make my own alphas or win a Legacy Perky. lol

Update!  The owner knows how much I love her gifts, and although she doesn’t have a Maitreya dev kit, she has a Lara X, so she fit it for the Lara X for me! ♥  Wow!  As if her designs weren’t already my favorite, she’s also one of my favorite humans.  The picture was taken in my Petite X, but now I can wear it on my Lara X and you can too, she’s updated the package to include the fitting!

Aaaaaaaaanyway look at this adorable dress.  Now, I’m a huge denim fan, and this dress is denim, but I felt compelled to wear the pink denim for my post since it’s a Valentine’s gift.  She also has the denim textures in the skirt I blogged before.  My favorite part are the cute little bloomer shorts that go underneath.  Gosh.  Adorable.

You can stop into her small shop on Missing Mile and pick this up free too.  It’s in the pink bunny on the top shelf, and the new version of the shirt is on the lower shelf.  As I mentioned above, there’s a little tip can on the floor to say thank you and spread the love. ♥  Hurry though, she takes her gifts down as soon as she finishes a new one, and she works fast 😉
