The Great Filling Station Holdup

Well they there you guys! I just got back from the 6th Anniversary round of Access and oooo boy, the gifts! There’s so many great gifts there for both male and female bodies, and enough to put together an entire outfit for free. I’d describe my vibe as “Lake fishing vacation on a beer and donut run” sort of vibe (those slippers) but I’m kind of digging it 😉 Also, once I got to New Deer Isle, and took this picture at the filling station, I knew exactly which song I’d use to title this post, a song by Jimmy Buffett of course!

OK so let me take you through all the things I got at Access real quick!

Free Hair/Base by Dura (in 4 different colors)

Access has a nice layout where they try to center the stores men shop along the center aisle (both sides) and the stores women shop along the perimeter, but you should look at all the booths and gifts because you never know what you might find. My pants, for instance, are sized for both men and women! The Trucker Hat was from Rowne, on the perimeter. Take your time 😉 Also it just opened a few days ago so should be busy at least through this weekend and then it will be much easier to get in. Access is open until July 8th, so there really is no rush, but yes it’s hard to stay away from amazing free gifts 😉

Now that I’m in possession of the breakfast of champions (beer and donuts) and we have a full tank of gas for the boat, who is hopping on and heading out for a morning fish with me? I only have one rule. You catch it? You clean it 😉

Boxing Day Gym Haul

While it might not be the traditional Boxing Day, Vinny has a different kind of boxing in mind – hitting the gym! After stumbling upon Beachy’s post, he discovered a treasure trove of freebies at the ManCave Event. Join Vinny on his fitness journey as he gears up for the New Year with some fantastic finds.

Say what?? Fashionable, swag, GQ, trendy, stylish… In real life I’ve never been any of these things. I usually wear what I think is comfortable and what I like. So fashion be damned! The faux pas of loud shirts and bright ties come hither. I do look damn good in a suit though. In Second Life, dressed in these Free Access 2nd Anniversary gifts. I’m feeling rather trendy, even if I’m bare chested.

The Access Event is celebrating its 2nd year on the grid. With this round comes several fantastic free gifts for women, men, and a few decor items. Since a couple of the ladies here on the Fabulously Free blog told you about some of the women’s Access gifts, I thought I would share a handful of the men’s gifts. Let’s begin with my man bun do. KUNI gives us a cute short perfect for Summer hair style. This well fitted leaf textured shirt is from LOB. It also comes with a t-shirt to be worn underneath it. My comfy yet swag looking pants are made by Etham.

Don’t forget it is always a good idea to accessorize . Especially if you want to look all GQ. Or so I’ve been told. These Nyane inspired heart shaped glasses from Ade. With six colour options and touch re-sizer. Gives one a bit of a posh look. The simple cord necklace by kunst, is great no matter what your style. Lastly, the aesthetically pleasing mint looking watch by HEVO. Now if you don’t mind I’m gonna sit down looking all trendy and enjoy a Caramel Latte Macchiato.
