Treats for the Second Day of Christmas

The Christmas Season continues in SL, and though I was tutting at videos of people taking down their decor already (blasphemy in my books!), I know that today is just the second day of Christmas.  Yes, I do rant about this annually, but that’s my tradition.   There are still so many amazing gifts to pick up inworld, so let’s crack on!

Santa’s Gift Storm

The generosity continues, this time through Santa’s Gift Storm!  Several designers have banded together to offer free gifts until January 4th.  The groups are free to join, and some gifts are no group needed and free for everyone.  Today, I’m showing off two that have no group join required, and I think they’re absolutely beautiful (I broke out the Reborn Body I bought on Black Friday to try this out, so that’s why Aline is looking rather voluptuous today – it’s not just the Christmas cookies).  Here’s what I’m wearing:

This shirt is bringing back childhood memories to the TV show Are You Afraid of the Dark?  It was kind of the Canadian reply to Goosebumps.  I would totally cover my eyes if it came on when I was in the room.  No scary TV for me!  And yes, I am still 100% like that.

Let’s Get Loki

There’s a new group gift at Loki, and you guessed it… it’s this t-shirt.  I generally love anything Loki makes, and so I knew I had to show this one off.    There are six different textures you can apply to the shirt via HUD.  Join the group for 199L and this is yours, plus the quite extensive wall of other gifts that are there (and all super cute too).  And the answer is… yes I am afraid of the dark.

Scratchy Scratch!

A new group gift was just announced as well from Pure Poison, and of course I had to run over there to get it.  These nails (which are kinda more like rings that cover your nails?) are fun, and actually sparkle when they’re on your fingers.  The HUD allows you to change the metals and the gem colour of the nails.  The Pure Poison group is currently 500L to join, which seems a bit pricey but you get gifts quite often, so I think it’s one to get in and STAY in!

WAAAAHHHH!!! It’s Spookzilla time!  I’m so excited!

Mischief

Ok ok ok so… we all kinda love and hate Spookzilla at the same time.  Amazing prizes, all 25L or less, and yet you could spend ages ripping your hair out finding all the stuff you want to find since there are no hints.  I focused on finding the little ghosts that belong to Loki, because… I mean, check out this amazing key below.  I can’t deal with the cuteness.  The dress really called my name, but ugh… all of it is SO freaking cute.   I paired my dress with one of the awesome poses from Babyboo, which I also grabbed at Spookzilla and is also 25L.  Love it.

Heads up though – this hunt is on TWO sims.  Loki is on Red Queen, and Babyboo is on Slytherin.

RL today was a little bit of une pile d’ordure as one might say.  That’s ok.  It’s done for me now, and I can slide into SL where I’m a magical being who can hex anyone who dares put macaroni and cheese in with my book collection.  Please don’t ask, but yes… it’s a thing that happened to me today.

They say that love bites, but right now I’m about to take a big bite out of love myself!  So, I bite back!

Hunting Time!

It’s time for another TR Hunt!  These fabulous hunts are both awesome and simultaneously super difficult.  Love Bites has just started today, and it’s so worth the visit. There are no hints on this hunt, but there are some really fabulous prizes to hunt for.  You can find all the keys right at the landing point, then you can tp down to the hunting area and search for what you really want (I’d make a list…and a drink while you’re at it!).  Most prizes are 25L, but I saw a few for less.  Here’s what I have on:
