Dancing Queen

Urban Event gifts & Havoc GG_001

I’m doing a bit of dancing tonight in my smexy dress and shoes. Why am I dancing? Well, just because I felt like it. Today I have gifts from the Urban Event. The Urban Event group has a join fee of $9L. You will need it to pick up gifts; however many of the gifts will cost anywhere from $0 – $15L. The Urban Event runs until October 7th so there’s still time to collect the gifts.

Breezy & Easy

My dress, from Spells & Charms to Go, is indeed breezy! It’s perfect for our 80+ degrees weather. The Nova dress has cutouts and chains. Can’t beat that for a sexy look. It will set you back $10L at the the Urban Event. For your money you’ll get the dress in two colors: green and nude. Pretty good deal, I’d say.

Binge Events Weekend Gift

First, I am showing a very temporary gift out for this weekend. Each weekend, Binge Events sets out a group gift at one of the stores that participate in their sales every weekend. This weekend, the gift is at lovelysweet and it’s a full pack of eyes. You must join the free Binge Events group to claim the gift for free. These are fantastic and not to miss. Lastly, my hairstyle is another Happy Weekend sale item from Sintiklia. I love showing these off. You know the drill by now- they cost 60L each and 9L is refunded with the group tag. This weekend, there is a cute style out which can be worn as a ponytail or a windswept style.

Here Comes the Parade

Having spent my young adult (formative) years in New Orleans I have seen many, many parades. Parades are fun spectacles and New Orleans loves them! The LGBQT population of the city is very active and always has been. Sadly so many lived a life that didn’t fulfill them because of homophobia in the general public. The Pride events taking place around the world celebrate diversity. “Be Who You Are” and the Golden Rule are two constants in my life. I celebrate my LGBQT family and friends every day.

Here Comes the Parade

After sorting through all things Pride in my recent inventory I decided on the festive dress pictured above. This is awesome dress from Belle Epoque! There is always something new for group members. The Aiora – Pride edition comes in this very cool print of colorful hearts. The styling and details are a bit hard to see in my picture but I’m sure you’ll love them. You can find Aiora at Anthem at the sale price of $50L.  Anthem runs until June 30th,

I paired my dress with these comfy free sandals by Dark Salvation that also come in a Pride motif/colors. The Toni Pride 1 sandals are fitted for: Erika, GenX, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, and Reborn. You can find them at the store’s entrance. There several Pride outfits and dresses near the entrance priced from $25 to $75.

I did a close up so you can see the nails and makeup I’m wearing today. The Pride Croc Set nails are a free group gift for the 1990 store group that is free to join. The gift contains both a Coffin and a Stiletto set. You’ll find several other group gifts on the gift wall on the 2nd floor landing. These are rigged for BBL, Kupra/Kups, Legacy. Maitreya, and Reborn. There are XL sets for each of these bodies.

The stunning makeup comes from Lucci. It’s the Pride Collection designed for the LelEvo/X heads. There are both an applier hud and a BOM face tat in the package. You’ll find it on the SL Marketplace for $1L.

Spring is Busting Out All Over

I Go, You Go, We All Go to Orsy

I am a Southern girl. Some of you are breaking out the warmer clothes, coats, and hats. Here it’s still very hot but hey it should cool off by December. We might get to wear long sleeves for the holidays. I know people have a love-hate relationship with snow and ice. Yes, the snow is pretty until it melts or has to be shoveled.
