Since I had some great jewelry, I wanted to add a bit of flair to my make up. I usually go with neutral make up, but decided to go a bit more wild for the upcoming holiday and alaskametro is offering this great little tester of their Extreme Wing in Flame for FREE on the Marketplace. Well, well..look at this. It’s Thursday already!! My week is going by so quickly, I almost missed it. LOL. Just kidding. I would never miss my Thursday blog post, especially with the goodies I have to show off today. I think you all will love them.
Let’s start with some Around the Grid 3 hunt prizes. First, let me refresh your memory of how this hunt works. At each location there are 2 hunt prizes, and both are the same. The catch is, 1 is set at L$25 and is placed right at the hunt sign, and the other is only L$1 and you have to actually hunt for it. So for those of you who get fed up with hunting…you can still get some great prizes for cheap! Love it! OK, my first hunt prize to tell you about, is my super casual, yet totally fun tank top and jeans from Wicked, called Nina. Both pieces are mesh, and in the standard sizes. I really love the detailing of the beads on the straps of the top (although I did not manage to get an up close picture of that…oops!), and the fit of these jeans…amazing! I just know I am going to get a lot of wear out of both of these pieces.
I have 2 other Around the Grid hunt prizes to show off, and they nicely fit in the same picture! First is the Grind My Gears unisex bracelet and ring set. These came from Mesh Glam, and I really like the steampunk vibe they have, yet they do not look out of place with my casual look. Both pieces are resizable, so almost everyone will be able to wear them. Oh, and when SL was being…well, SL, I contacted Mesh Glam’s owner, βєνιn Яaνєηscℓaω, with my issue, and she helped me out right away! Big shout-out for great customer service 🙂 The second prize in that picture is my cute flowery manicure. My SLink applier mani and pedi are courtesy of Reject. The colour combinations are so pretty, I had a hard time deciding which to use. In hind sight…I could have had a different colour for each finger! Dang, why didn’t I think of that before taking my pictures. Oh well…at least you all have this idea now!

Next to show off, 2 more Hair Fair gifts! Man I love Hair Fair, especially when there are free gifts to be had. My lovely rigged mesh Catherine hairstyle is from a new to me store, Murray. This classic swept back and long hair comes in almost every colour imaginable, and I just love how it drapes down the back. Now, it did not come with a hairbase, and you don’t really need one, but I enjoy having that bit of extra hair around my hairline, so I almost always wear one. To get my look, I layered the black hairbase from elua’s Hair Fair gift on top of a much darker Wasabi Pills black hairbase. I really like the effect.
The other Hair Fair gift is one of the few non-hair related gifts available. This great, rustic looking mesh tote bag is the gift from sYs. It is rigged, but comes with 2 sizes for the straps, giving you a little more leeway with shirts that might be a little fuller in the chest area 🙂 As soon as I put it on, I wanted to run down to a Farmer’s Market, or some place similar, and fill it up with fresh fruits and veggies. Seriously! I love when an item so easily paints a picture in my head.
Alrighty, I have one more thing to mention. Were you wondering about my pretty skin in all of my pictures? Well, wonder no more. It is this months group gift from WoW Skins, Stella. I am so in love with the ever so simple makeup on Stella, just a hint of pink to the lips. She comes in all skin tones, so no matter your preference, there is a tone for you. The gift is free for all group members, but there is a L$350 join fee. I should mention though, that while Stella alone is well worth this fee, there is also a box of a bajillion past group gifts right beside her. OK, maybe not a bajillion..but a whole lot! So that L$350, is a steal.
