Hey there, Fab Free! This week seems to be zooming along. We went from slushy freezing rain to sunshiny warm then back to cool… Real world weather is so weird, so back to the grid I go!
I visited one of my fav shops this week – Milky Way. I love the designs here. They’re so feminine and dreamy. Plus, there are 25 lucky boards and many free gifts. I got lucky with the boards and pulled this lovely little hoodie + skirt set called simply – LB. The set is 1 connected piece and it comes in this soft oatmeal-ish color with a black skirt only. But I still love it. I think it’s perfect for the cool to warm Spring.

The cozy white sweater dress is from Midna and it’s called “Cozy”. I really love the heavy texture and the soft cream color. And doesn’t it go well with the “White Beret” from Belle Epoque? The pretty little topper only comes in the white color but it’s fully adjustable and resizable for a perfect fit. And what would Christmas be without a little magic? Like this holdable snowflake from Celesta. The flake spins and throws off tiny snowflakes. So pretty!

Maybe it’s because there is nearly a foot of snow covering the ground outside my real life window, but I’ve been all about the soft pastel colors here of late. Spring is usually more pastel for me but snow must bring on a softness, I guess. Anyway when I saw this lovely sea foam green sweater from Milky Way I had to have it and I’ve been wearing it all over the Grid today.
This is the Kiyomizu Winter Hunt Sweater from Milky Way for the … you guessed it.. Kiyomizu Winter 2021-2022 Hunt. I adore Milky Way’s designs. They all have a soft sweetness to them. While you’re at the shop, check out the huge wall of Group Gift Lucky Boards. The Group is free to join and there are some really nice prizes there. The Kiyomizu Winter 2021-2022 Hunt ends soon on January 10th. But the prize objects ( An adorable Ninja Cat) are very easy to find. Hello, FabFree! I know Christmas is over but a bunch of designers have left their gifts out for us slowpokes to pick up. Like one of my absolute favorites – Teegle. You know I love my Teeglepets and I’m always on the look out for new gear for them. So I was thrilled when I found the loaded Christmas tree at the Teegle main store was still up.
There is a ton of freebies under the Teegle tree but this on is just so special. This is the Snow Drifter Sleigh from Out on a Whim. This classic Cutter Sleigh comes in several versions. One for Horse avatars, one for Teeglepets, one for wearable horses, even one for just display. It’s a beautiful build and I am just so excited to hook Mystic up and go dashing through the snow!
Now, I do NOT know how much longer the gifts will be available over at Teegle. So get over there and scoop ’em up while you can. Even if you don’t want this sleigh, there are tons of other goodies. Like blankets, tack and skins for your ponies!

We are coming right down to the wire for 2020, FabFree. The year can be counted in hours and I for one won’t miss this one. But at least the 2020 year was a good one for hunts and special groups and cool free things. So this ‘almost the last post for 2020’, I found a couple of nifty giftys from some hunts that are also in their last hours.
First, is my cute pearl grey sweater from Starlight Apparel. The “Ember” sweater dress is one of the prizes for the Up To Snow Good Hunt over on the Town called Short Leash SIM. Much like the Spookzilla hunt, each designer has placed gifts priced 0 to 25L all over the sim to find. This sweater is one of the 25L prizes. When you land, you can pick up a folder with all the info and prize guides for easy hunting. Now this IS an adult SIM so a bunch of the prizes are… um… adult in nature and no child avatars are allowed.

Okay, Derpy Juli story time. I saw these awesome ” Kathy” boots from Modern Nostalgia on the Peace on Earth hunt web page and I knew I had to have them. The dark charcoal color would go smashingly with my new grey “Ember” sweater, right?! Plus, they’re free! So I went and hunted them down, got home and popped on the sweater opened the boots, wore them …… and they are HOT PINK! What?? Nooo they matched the grey sweater! I’m so peeeeved! I wanted grey, like the picture… I ought to talk to the designer about false adverti….. oh. There’s a color HUD. Derp.
So, yeah. There is a great color HUD with thirty five colors and patterns.
