OK so I had a wide range of song titles I could choose from since I’m wearing a Walkman.  I look younger than I am, after all, and there was some really fun music in the late 80s when I was young 😉  We had a variable smorgasbord of songs that surely exposed my generation to some of the coolest, most creative, cool gay and non-binary artists of the time.   Some pre-dated the 80s but were just as celebrated in the 80s too.  We had Queen and Elton John, David Bowie, Boy George, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and then straight ally icons like Madonna and Cyndi Lauper.  Beachy and I listened to all of it when we were young, George Michael had the women fooled, but the men knew, and he was loved by all.  What a time to be young. ♥

It’s the last few days of the Pride At Home Expo and I wanted to end the month with a post so absolutely no one misses the awesome and plentiful free gifts there!  As the other bloggers have shown you all month, there’s so much to choose from, and most of it is unisex.  Everything I’m wearing, Walkman included, was a gift!

The Pride At Home Expo is only open until June 30th, so get over there and get those gifts, we don’t have to limit Pride celebrations to only one month, but the gifts will disappear!

Well Fabbies, it’s the second most wonderful time of the SL year (for me).  PRIDE month comes second on my list, only to Halloween, and then the Christmas holiday season in a close 3rd.  But yay, it’s Pride, and you know what that means?  Loads of free gifts, lots of color, and LOVE LOVE LOVE ♥

There’s so much going on this month, make lots of time to be here, and read the blog, we don’t want you to miss a thing!  I’ve had such a hectic day, but I got around to Pride At Home late in the day to bring you this post!

Pride At Home is an annual celebration of Pride.  There’s a giant region with Ah-Mazing Pride floats for the parade (in fact, I took my picture on one of the floats) each one is sponsored by a SL store.  Plan some time to spend, because there’s so much to see, and also so many free gifts to nab!  These are just a small sampling of what I brought home:

  • Free Dress by Mellowcute (sized for: Maityrea/Petite, Legacy/Perky, Reborn/Juicy, Kupra)
  • Free Hat by Toadstool (in every color of the rainbow and the rainbow itself!)
  • Free Plugs for Swallow gauged ears (for men and women S,XL,Pixie)
  • Free Body Shine by Auro (Applier for: Maitreya, Legacy, eBody, Kario, Kupra, Khara)

 

So in love with my new hat 😉  Oh, and the body shine!  Auro is high on my list of newer favorite stores.  The Mellowcute dress is exactly that, so CUTE!  Wait till you see these Pride Plugs.  All of the stores participating in Pride are super supportive of the community year round, not just in June where they change their packaging.  All the gifts are totally free and no group is required to buy them.  There are donation buckets at the Pride At Home sim, with all donations going to LGBTQIA+ charities for love and support of the community ♥

Pride At Home is open all of June, so you have plenty of time.  I can’t wait to see everyone’s colorful pictures on FLICKR!

Sweet Gingerbread Man

Coming Soon to Fab Free!

Oh I’ve been wanting to do a gingerbread post all month, and here I am, in all these gorgeous gingerbread-y colors to tell you about the most colorful advent out there, the Pride At Home Advent! lol  This advent has everything, from rainbow pants, to a rainbow fur coat, and here I am in brown.  Not just any brown though, wonderfully constructed and textured browns.  I really wanted to do a colorful post with the items from this calendar, but there’s SO MUCH COLOR none of it fit together!  (“They” never warn you about these things in blogging school .. ha!)  On a high note, I get a chance to blog things that are available for both men and women again, and that’s always a PLUS!

So, this Pride At Home advent I keep going on about?  It’s FREE, with a free group join, and you can get past gifts!  I wanted to get this post to all of you before Christmas so you can join and get all the incredible goodies before they’re gone.  Now, I can’t remember which gift came from which day, so you’ll just have to get them all to find out 😉
