Witching Lessons

It’s a Monster Mash!
Today I bring you a mishmash of items from several places. I had fun putting all of it together and hope you like these items. I’ve got things like group gifts and event hunt finds. There are so many events it’s hard to keep up. A week ago or so I published a post with as many events and info here. I haven’t gotten a chance to update the list as RL has been keeping me tied up.
RWARR
Over at Chaotic there are a couple of fairly new group gifts. The join fee for the group is $99L. Group gifts are often gift cards/store credit, as well as apparel.
The Priscilla outfit and the matching shoes are free to group members. It features a bandeau top and shorts that come with large huds to mix or match the shorts and bandeau. The shoes are the second gift and the hud for these matches the one for the outfit. An anklet (that I forgot to wear) is included with the heels.

I just happened to stumble upon a Juneteenth Sale going on at David Heather. The entire store is 75% off! That makes the whole place quite a bargain, and especially the outlet where the normally 75L items are now only 19L each. However, the clothes that I’m wearing tonight, I found at the front of the store in front of the weekend sale items. These items are not part of the weekend sale, but they are on the same rack. And, I paid only 23L each for the top and pants! SO exciting. I’m actually obsessed with this quality. Both come in a few shades and styles to pick from, and then sized for:

The things at David Heather have a very polished upscale feel to them, so I felt the need to paint my face a bit. Paix came to mind and there I picked up the most recent free group gift, this dramatic lipstick. It was just the touch of sophistication that I needed to finish things off and comes in a very generous fatpack of shades. Paix is free to join and the group gifts are free for group members.

At Least It’s Not a Flock
I would love to know how much these big fluffy pelicans eat. Of course, it is Second Life, so they could be even bigger than me. I’m not petite here, lol. Anyway, I’m exploring Soul2Soul Bay. It’s a lovely beachy coastal location. Lots to explore and lots of spots for pictures. If you’ve been following the blog for the last few years you know that I love shots by the water. Guess, I’m a water baby.
A Gift

It’s Pink & Fluffy
Woohoo!! Tiffany Designs has the May group gift ready for you. It’s a $400L Gift Card! And there are so many great items to choose from in the store. I do have to say that Lucy, owner & creator of Tiffany Designs spoils us rotten. She has always spoiled us as far back as I can remember. I also have a couple of gifts from Fameshed’s 13th Anniversary round running until May 27.
My Dilemma
There are so very many outfits, gowns, shoes, jewelry, etc it took me a while to meander through the store to pick out my purchase. I decided on the girly Kassidy outfit with it’s fur top and pants. It looks both fun & classy. It is delivered in four pieces, heels, pants, top, and fur. And a huge texture hud comes along with it. Everything I have ever gotten from the store is so well constructed and her gowns are to die for!

The group has a join fee of $400L. So basically you get your money back. The price for Kassidy was $199L or $160L (for group members) so I got an additional discount. New Ink
Carol G. has some new gifts out for the store and other groups. The join fee for the group is $200L. It’s money well spent if you like tats because there is an entire wall of monthly gifts. I scooped two tats from the group MM board. The Cora tattoo in white is an upper body BOM. The Glory tat I’m wearing is another BOM layer for gloves and pantyhose in white is another MM gift (you can wear both or just the gloves or pantyhose.

Geez Louise – More Gifts!
And then, the Fameshed 13th Anniversary started. You’ve seen a few items from Aline here, here, and here. I have a couple more to show off.
My quirky hairdo is a gift from Sintiklia. The Everly hair is a really cute updo with hair pins. Included in the gift are huds for the hair (monochrome), pins and styler. This will be great for summertime!
Lastly, I picked up a sweet pair of earrings there. The Sayuri earrings from Kunglers are beautiful dangling crystals. Of course there is a hud that lets you change the metal, and both crystals. The colors are mostly pastels so they are great for warmer weather wear.
You will need to join the free Fameshed group to get the gifts. Note: There is a forced landing point for the event so you will have to find your way to one of the two gift areas.

Let’s Be Kawaii
I found a cute outfit and holdable in today’s $25L Tuesday sale. Perfect for a hot summer day. Or even spring down here in the swamps. Either way it’s very cute.
Not a Huge Decision
When I saw this top & shirts from Decision in the $25L Tuesday sale gallery, it whispered, “Buy me”. So of course I did. What’s a girl to do when it speaks to her that way?
There are two parts: the shorts (or skort) and the shirt. Each piece is $25L. It’s a great price. The top has a “wet” look so it looks sheer but have no worries strategic folds in the material hide da nipples. The shorts have really cute graphics on both the front & back. There are a few colors to choose from for the sale.

Snack Time
Another goodie I found in today’s sale comes from Arpels. The Kawaii popcorn is a holdable. There are 8 different colors to the popcorn box and the dolly (?) inside. At first I couldn’t figure out what it was; I thought it was a sheepie! It’s an inexpensive way to add to your props if you’re a picture snapper.

The Fog
I just came inside IRL from a very ethereal, foggy morning. I had bunnies in my yard, but unfortunately I wasn’t surrounded by gorgeous wildflowers, alas, that’s what SL is for.
Morning Blooms
I’ll take flowers any and all ways I can find them. Here in Florida, we don’t have all those gorgeous ground flowers like the rest of the N.America or across the pond. Our flowers are mostly on bushes, and a few trees. I have pots and pots of flowers though, because they’re so relaxing and serene to look at, although they really hate this heat as much as I do. When the heat gets to be too much for the flowers, give them a rest and wear a pretty floral print instead. I was thrilled to find this gorgeous floral dress and a few other gifts for free at the MIIX Event.
