I’m Never Gonna Let You Down

Can we talk about how basic I’m feeling right now? An iced coffee, a shirt with words like “blessed” on it, Autumn leaves. Whoa. I bet there’s even something pumpkiny or spicey in that cup. Not that any of those things are bad, I’m just saying that if you look up “basic” in the dictionary you’ll find this picture.

My coffee is actually from Havoc, as part of the current free gift for the free group there. The gift also includes a great little top and shorts, but this drink called to me. Get it by joined the free Havoc group and clicking on the picture in the middle of the sim outside for the free group gift.

I believe that August is still the dead of summer. It is a hill that I will die on! Luckily there are some really great designers who agree with me, and these fab free gifts are proof, in fruit.

There are several other free group gifts available in the store as well, and this new one is a great makeup set which is aptly named Summer. It includes 5 eyeliners and 5 shades of lipstick. Like Snow On The Beach

Pretty pink and still festive AF? That’s a yes from me, dawg. I guess pink and Christmas are two things that don’t necessarily go together, like snow on the beach. Although I’m from far enough north to enjoy the beach on a cold day.

First

The December free group gift is out at Pink Cream Pie, and I love it so much. It’s this adorable outfit, both the top and the skirt as separate pieces. I love them so much. Did I already say that? They each come with a HUD that lets you change the texture to this adorable gingerbread pattern or three complimentary colors, so it can totally be Christmasy or not at all. The Pink Cream Pie group will cost you 314 incredibly well spent L, and once you’re in you can look forward to monthly free group gifts, 100L of free credit each month, a huge wall of past group gifts. lucky chairs, and other amazing things – like the Advent calendar that going on right now, for instance! I’d say I love it again, but that would be excessive. But I do.

When I was putting this look together, someone in the FabFree group chat mentioned this hair. If you don’t keep the chat open when you’re inworld then you’re missing out. Someone is always giving news of some amazing freebie to grab plus the general silliness is quite amicable but not over the top. Anyway, the hair that I’m wearing is a current freebie from Beusy on the SL Marketplace. It’s resizable, includes many HUDs for all the hair colors you could want, plus the bow is colorable. It includes the hair, bangs, and bow separately but they are just so perfect all together. I don’t know if this marketplace freebie is new or old, or if it will stick around or not. What I do know is that you should go here and get it for yourself.

There was a group notice in the Pink Cream Pie group yesterday announcing the Pinky Pride Guy Calendar. It’s the same deal as an Advent Calendar but celebrating pride. Each day in June there will be a new free gift. You will need to activate your Pink Cream Pie tag, which is 314L to join if you’re not already in the group, to receive the gifts and return each day to claim that day’s prize. It starts today with this dress, sweetly rainbow hued and with a HUD to change various opacities and panty color, sized for:

I also wanted to tell you about my lovely backdrop, which I picked up at The Bearded Guy. There is a sale to celebrate the owner’s real life birthday and also free gifts for us. 32 gifts, to be exact!
