Hey Fabs!  Well, I finally did it.  This is my 365th day posting on Fab Free in a row!  I’ve finally made it a full year, blogging every day, now that we haven’t had a pesky hurricane come through (yet!).  Of course, FLICKR decided today was the day that it won’t upload my photo, by the time you’ll see this post I’ll have been working at that part for 3 hours now (but Flickr sends their warm regards via email. 🙄) I eventually just used gyazo and will replace with a FLICKR link at some point.  These are the reasons I might take a day off of blogging here or there, tech issues.  Otherwise, I’m 100% committed to finding you freebies on the daily. ♥

I’ve got another fun one for you.  I saw this hunt on Seraphim, and it sounded so familiar, and I knew why when I landed …  I take blog pics here sometimes.  How fun that Pusassari has put together a nice little pumpkin hunt for us for free.  It’s not a difficult hunt, but it will have you traveling around the SIM to explore, the best part is, that it’s gorgeous there.  Of course, I took my picture for this post at Pusassari.

Mish Mash

Yep, that gorgeous sky behind me is one of 3 EEPs in the prize package, isn’t it a beaut?  My dress is just perfect for the autumn season, an ombre orange to brown with a sweet light shrug over it. I was very enamored by this hunt and I hope you are too.  No group is needed, you just need to find (18 I think?) pumpkins, click each one and bring it home for free.  There’s plenty of time yet, the hunt is open until November 17th.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention my earrings, probably because you can’t see them through my hair.  Sorry, Luova, I’ve failed you in my post, but I love these.  These are delicate little spiders, with a gem for the back, and you can see an example in her Flickr post here on the left.  There is an extensive hud for coloration and they are perfect for any time of year.  You can get them free by joining the TSS group and picking them up in her pumpkin at TSS Hauntiversary, which is open until Nov. 2nd.

I See the Moon

Spring has Almost Sprung

Spring is just around the corner, and I definitely needed a little garden refresh.  I’ve mentioned before that my dream is my very own she-shed in the backyard. with plenty of comfy seats, loads of books and enough tea to keep me going.  Since I can’t have one in RL at the moment, I’m living it out in SL.

Mossy

There’s a hunt going on at Moss & Luna to celebrate Spring, and it’s full of very sweet decor items, all under 50L.  Make your way to the hunting area by the landing point (you’ll see some egg-shaped stones to follow to help you find it).  There’s a free basket to collect to help you hunt, and notecards with helpful hints if you want them.  I found all the prizes by wandering around and finding the eggs.  It’s really a pretty spot, and was a nice little escape while I hunted.  All the prices and items I found can be found in my credits below, and you’ll also see the items in the official key right below here.

I can never decide exactly who I am on a regular basis.  I think blogging has turned me into a hodgepodge of styles and personalities.  Not that I’m exactly complaining about it, I like showing off all my sides.  From the dark side all the way to this girly, frilly iteration of me.  We’re all a bit of everything, so why not show it off?

I said I liked flowers, but I didn’t think I’d be turning into one… either way, I’m loving it!

Springtime

Ok, I’m going to start with the flower ‘fro, because HOW AMAZING IS IT.  I’m not usually one for silly accoutrements in SL, I’m a bit haughty about what goes on my avi, but this one is silly but beautiful, and I just love it.  The baby’s breath flower afro is the latest group gift from Moon Rabbit, and you can grab it (and a bunch of other group gifts) by joining their group for 150L.  Totally worth every penny.

Lavender Forever

I also couldn’t say no to a dress covered in lavender, now could I?  It is forever my fave flower.  I got this pretty number over at Shoplifter when I joined the free Velour Mall group.  Just head into their store with the tag active and click on the vendor.  If lavender isn’t your thing (gasp!) there are also loads of other textures you can apply to the dress via HUD.  Easy peasy.

I’ve always wanted my own little she-shed to get away from the world in.  It would be extremely girly, filled with stickers and art supplies and of course some very comfy spots to sit.  I may not exactly have the space for it in RL, but SL delivers every time…

Three for the Price of None

I was perusing our FabFree Group Gift listing today, and there are some really great things to share that you may have missed.  I went to three locations, and ended up with a sweet pair of heels, a sexy dress AND this amazing shed I’m standing in.  I don’t even know if it can be called a shed, it’s really like a garden hideaway that lets all the natural light in.  Plus, I find that the design lends itself to any type of decor – you can girly it up like I did or make it as brutalist and modern as you can.  It’s fabulous!  Anywhos, here are all the details of what I’ve got on:

There’s nothing better than a little corner of the world you can retire to when things get overwhelming.  Plus, it’s just so much fun to build these kind of places in SL, isn’t it?  I’ve got some time-sensitive stuff for you today, so let’s hop right in!

Happy Birthday!

Noveny is celebrating their 2nd anniversary in grand fashion this weekend.  You have to be quick though, because it’s only happening today and tomorrow!  There are lots of fun new things to get stuck in to.  I was particularly enamoured with the little hunt they have going on.  It’s free for everyone, and there are three really nice items: The two hanging shelves you see on the wall, plus the lovely wooden frame that you can put your own photos in.  The hunt object you’re looking for is a wooden crate.  While you’re there, you should also join the group (it’s just 30L) and you can grab a 300L in store credit to buy anything you like.  I just had to have this celestial printed tapestry that’s hanging over the fireplace.  It cost me just 200L, leaving me 100 to buy something else pretty.  Be aware that you’ve got until the 31st to spend the credits.  Noveny has some really beautiful items, this is is not to be missed!
