RL is kicking me in the backside this week (and last), so I was more than happy to have a little getaway in SL.  This new group gift from Blonde Queen screams tropical vacation to me, so I took off to a little seaside village in France and here we are!

Red, White and Bleue

I came to this village because of the colors of this dress I picked up.  The Heather top and skirt is the most recent group gift over at Blonde Queen and it comes in 3 colors.  Red (with blue and white flowers), white (with red and blue flowers) and this blue (with red and white flowers).  So cute!  It comes in so many sizes too!

Bijoux

To compliment my new outfit, I picked up some group gifts over at  [Piece of Me].  This group is also free to join, so you can bring both my necklace and earrings home with you for free too!.  The necklace comes in white pearls but there is a metal hud included.  Both of these pieces come unrigged to fit any body!

I’m looking ahead to Thursday where I can sit my tush firmly planted at the desk and hunt for freebies.  Don’t worry about the name of the post, all my blog posts are named after songs, and I was thinking about RL work when I picked this one 😉 lol

Before and After

Cheerio gang!

This post is not your typical before and after.  Oh gosh I *do* love me a before and after, you know when they do makeovers?  It is one of my fondest wishes to one day get a makeover by professionals.  Alas.  But I love a makeover, it’s always so exciting to see what changes they make and how awesome whomever or whatever they were working on came out!

This is kind of a reverse before and after to showcase the awesome goodies I got at the Arcade Event, courtesy of Pare’.  Now, if you want to get all the juicy details of how the new system at the arcade works, I spelled it all out in my previous post here.  With that out of the way, let’s get on to the fun stuff, the goodies!  The machine for Pare’ is called Night Crawlers and is 75L a play and I had to come back on subsequent days to get both the outfits I was lucky enough to grab.  The above was the pink, which I love.  The below photo shows the Halloween version which I was lucky enough to get on my second day try.  I was originally going to just blog the pink one, but when I got the Halloween one as well, I couldn’t resist combining the two.

So, what exactly do I call my before and after?  The first photo, above, is before the Zombie Apocalypse, the second photo before is, well, after, obviously, and our brave heroine can tell she has become outnumbered and she is about to become Zombie herself.  Notice how she is biting her lip in distress?  So she has gone from geek chic to zombie hunter.

As I stated in my previous post, you choose the size you want to play for in the machine and I chose Maitreya Lara as that is what I wear.

Lessons learned by our lovely heroine… a gun works better than an axe when fighting zombies.  Unfortunately.

Laundry Day!

Laundry Day

Here I am gang, back again in stark contrast to my previous (solo – not the one where I am fending off a pack of wild redheads) post, I’m back to my old self again and catching up on some chores.  Plants watered, check.  Blog posts done, check.  Rent paid, check.  Laundry…. in progress!

Doing the laundry is much more fun when you can bring along some adorable cuteness with you to snuggle and smooch while you wait!  My favorite part about laundry is when the dryer stuff comes out nice and toasty… ahhhhhh.  Even if it is hot out for some reason, the heat in fresh laundry is so soothing.  I wonder why that is.  Do you know?

Of course with all my laundry needing to get done, I had to find a new outfit to wear while I washed the rest and so I headed over to the Free Dove, cause I haven’t been in a while, to see what newness they might have.  I wasn’t disappointed of course because I found this to die for outfit (I may live in this and be buried in it!).  I absolutely love the bohemian pattern on the top with the Indian elephants.  Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE.  I know I show you all sorts of styles in my posts my friends, but bohemian (and my whimsical side LURVES Kawaii) is where my soul does a happy dance.  I don’t find nearly as much bohemian as I would like nowadays, it feels like the entire grid is obsessed with jumpsuits lately.  So when I do find it, get out of the way cause Imma gonna do a big ol happy dance!!!

Bonus points if I can find Bohemian and Pink combined!  That’s absolutely ME to a T!
