Just The Way You Are

Let me set the (not so hypothetical) scene – it’s the week before Valentine’s Day. You’re doing what you do on the grid…shopping, hanging with friends, whatever the case may be; just doing your thing. You want to wear something slightly festive but not over the top, something that doesn’t scream “Valentine’s Day” but maybe just whispers it sweetly. Girl, I got you.

The Perfect Dress

I picked up the dress that I’m wearing at Meva. It is the free Valentine’s Day gift there and no group join is required. I love Valentine’s stuff because it can be worn all year round and this is no exception. You can wear this before, during, or after the big day and won’t even have to clear up a group slot to do so. I also made a stop at Dalila. The newest free group gift there is some fun Valentine’s themed nails that I’m not wearing, cute though they are. Like any self respecting freebie blogger I grabbed up the other free group gifts while I was there and was smitten by this lipstick. I thought this shade went so well with my dress, and there are a bunch of other shades included too. The Dalila group is free to join and the group gifts are all free.

Hunting For Stash

Until May 20th (three more days!!) you can search for a bag of weed at participating stores in Second Life for The Stash Bash Hunt, and get free stuff such as the Marley Outfit from Sn@tch that includes The Stash Ripped Jean Shorts shown above and the Marley Bikini top and bottom in amethyst, aqua and sage, shown below. Fortunately Cal came to my rescue and helped me locate the stash when I couldn’t find it. Thanks Cal!

/me wonders how Cal got so good at finding stash and how Ivey of Sn@tch got so good at hiding it!? lololol

Another Stash Bash Hunt item that I really liked was the Striped Stash Bash Tee shown below from Cracked Mirror. It is available in both mens and women’s sizes and looks fantastic with the shorts from Sn@tch!

Don’t Miss The Sn@tch Sale – And Other Good Stuff

After a busy RL weekend, I am attempting to catch up on some freebies and great deals I have been dying to share!!

The skin I am in today is Al Vulo’s WomenStuff Hunt Gift called Mely* Petite S**pe Sunkissed. You can find this free skin by locating the T-shirt icon at the Al Vulo Mainstore. This skin features running mascara and realistic tears. I may have tears, but you won’t see red eyes here! These are the new IKON Uptopia Eyes in Light Blue + Rust. This is the rebranded name for the eyes previously known as Fashism that I brag about on a regular basis lol. You can grab these eyes for free by joining the free IKON inworld group and picking the gift up in store!

The outfit I am wearing today is Snatch’s 7Seas Fishing Prize called Dragonia that includes the pants, shoes, corset and teal top. There is a few ways you can switch up the tops for different looks, so this outfit is a lot of fun! Thank you to Scarlet for sharing some of her pieces with me, which made my fishing trip a lot faster!

Sticky Sweet From My Head To My Feet

Poor Renee is down and out with the flu this week, but I’ll keep the ladies freebies coming! I’m sure she’s still reading (hopefully from bed – where she should be resting!) and we hope she’s feeling better soon 🙂

The above photo displays the FTLO Millenium Hunt gifts from Piccara that you can pick up until January 31st for just 1L. The Tube Top in purple and Classic Jeans go so well together and I just love when I can find really great jeans for next to nothing! These low rise jeans also look fabulous with 1Hundred‘s latest group gift in the photo below called Be A Star Tee. It’s a light pink off the shoulder T-shirt with an all over star print. The group is free to join.

Sticky Fingers group members can now pick up the My Striped Heels in pink as it is their newest group gift. The group is 100L to join, but there are a few gifts sitting out for VIPS which makes it more than worth the fee. The shirt I am wearing in the photo below is designed by 1Hundred. It’s called Sweet Blouse and is currently featured at The Designer Showroom for just 50L.

Just One Thing To Say

Carson may have had two good ydeas.. but I just have one thing to say and it is that you ladies should head directly to B!asta because… there are some really cute freebies and nearly freebies in shop right now! For example… The outfit above is called City Charm. It includes the leather pants, top and also the belt for just 5L. You can find it above the fireplace with some other really fabulous deals.

Another thing you’ll want to snag by the fireplace while you are there is the City Lights Dress with the gem applique which is… Free. It’s quite a cute dress and the gems swing around as you walk!

Oh dear.. I do have two things to say… It’s never just one thing with me… /me hangs head in shame… There is ten minutes I’ll never get back that I spent trying to find a “just one thing” pose in my inventory lol

The necklace I am wearing today is a dollarbie from Apple May Designs. It is called the Music Charm Necklace and has colourful music notes on it making it the perfect “match everything” accessory.
