The Rain The Park And Other Things
OK Fabs, you know I always use song titles for my blog posts (and I always list some relate-able lyrics and the video on the FLICKR picture). You might think this is an odd song title for a post, but in fact, this song is an original hippie song from the 60’s, and it’s otherwise known as ‘The Flower Girl Song” 😉
Flower Power
Of course it was my free dress that inspired the song choice! I found this Riloa dress over at AMUI and it’s one of a few different colors, all gifts for various freebie groups. You can bring home this dress in all the colors you like by joining the group the gift is for, but I have a tendency to pick teal when given a choice, so I joined Mesh Body Friends for free and brought this home. You can find them on the opposite side of the wall when you land, and there’s lots and lots of choices. You know I love my hippie style, but I’m also super partial to the gold chain as one of the dress straps. It comes rigged for:

I’ve been hanging on to these earrings waiting for the right dress, and I can finally use them! They are a group gift from pr!tty, and the group is free to join. Firstly tonight, I’ve got some new free hair for you courtesy of Pr!tty. They’ve got a few fun little group gifts, including this beta version of hair in a pack of natural colours. This cute cutout dress is a great addition to my collection, and I picked it up for free at the Miix Event. OK Fabbies, I know group space and money are tight at this time of year, but what if I told you that you could get 6 new gifts plus a bunch of older gifts, plus new gifts on the regular, all for 250L? It’s a steal, especially coming from one of the cuuuuuuuuutest stores.

Hip Hop, I Never Stop!
Easter sure is coming up at a quick pace, and I’m ready for all the pastel, chocolate, bunny-eared goodness. How about you?
Bunny Hop!
The latest TR Hunt has just taken off today – the Bunny Hop Hunt! As with these hunts, there’s one big sim (always with amazing decor) that you have to wander around looking for little bunny-eared eggs. There are no hints on this hunt, and I would call it fairly challenging. There are some really great gifts though! I found two prizes I wanted to show off: The fuzzy top and shorts are one of the prizes from Mewsery and are priced at just 25L. My egg (which I am tossing up and down…so fun to watch) is also 25L and it’s by Magnetic – it comes with both left and right holds, and in yellow as well. I have another surprise for you! Did you know Meander/Me has lucky chairs? I did NOT know this, but now I do, and so do you! I happened upon them a week or two ago and I won this most bodacious 80’s lyric dress, did this awesome Pat Benatar picture and blog post, and then (as keeps happening to me) the day before I was going to post it, they poofed! On the advice of a Fabbie, I messaged the owner who told me it was just temporary, and they would be back – and now, they are! The 80’s lyrical dress isn’t on a chair any longer though, but this beautiful red Charm gown was, and I didn’t leave until I could bring it home with me. Truth be told, I’d been looking for the proper way to use this pose for quite some time. It’s just so pretty and flowy. It’s available in store at Seetra but only as part of a pack that will run you over the FabFree limit. BUT the single pose is available on the marketplace here and for only for 59L.

The outfit I’m wearing just seems made for this pose, it’s so perfect. And as I seem to be the queen of showing off older freebies, it is likewise an older free group gift at Queenz. I just think that there are so many fantastic things on the grid and just because something’s not the newest doesn’t make it not worth having. This particular free gift is the top and pants as separate pieces and with a HUD of colors and patterns to change each independently. Tickled Pink
There’s nothing quite like a smattering of pink. Though I’d say this is more than a smattering, It’s a veritable deluge! I’m not complaining though, give me all the pinkness!

Belle Epoque have brought back two of their older hunts, and I’m not complaining one bit. I’m having a few flashbacks, which may have me feeling a bit older than I’d like, but that’s ok, it’s all in the name of fashion. Each item on this hunt is just 10L, and sized for Maitreya bodies. There are plenty of really cute items, but I settled on showing off the very pretty pink dress that inspired my rose fantasy.
