Cre Has New Clothes
I’m not going back to school cause I’m with the band. Yeah, that’s the ticket! I can still look and feel cool. Our FabFree Back to Cool hunt is in full swing. There are many low cost items on the hunt and you can see all the prizes and hints here. Don’t forget you’re searching for little rainbows.

Allison showed off one of the prizes from The Bold Llama and I have another one for you. I love the graphic tanks from the store. The sayings are often quite funny & sometimes irreverent. The “I’m with the band” tank top is so appropriate for me since I started helping out a musician friend with her return to SL live music. The tank comes in a wide variety of sizes as noted below. The cost for each of the 5 tanks for the hunt is $5L each.

Love Those Lucky Chairs!
One of the places I frequent for stalking lucky chairs is QE. Although the store has moved away from clothing design there are still items in the lucky chairs and MM boards. There are both group and non-group chairs. They seem to be set for 13 minutes each (I’m no math major!). Anyways, try your luck there. I picked up this cute skirt from one of those chairs. The Paige skirt is in black denim. It has a frayed hemline & it fits the look of my outfit perfectly. I was easily able to use the alpha cuts on the Maitreya LaraX hud to hide any showing parts; like my bum!

Not Yet Done
I noticed that Sintiklia had 2 hairstyles out for the Happy Weekend Sale. I also noted that the prices have gone up a bit to $90L for each one. When you are a group member you’ll get a 10% refund discount. I’m wearing the Harmony style today. After my discount I wound up paying $77L (Just a tiny bit over our $75L limit.) By the way, the group is $92L to join and there are quite a number of group gifts available. Harmony is kind of shaggy with both long & short segments. It’s a very cute casual style. There are two head sizes along with four different breast sizes.

The Bunny is On His Way!
I was pleasantly surprised today when I logged in and found out that Meva was hosting an egg hunt. Off I went to score some eggs! I also found a couple of other things in my inventory. It is that time of the year. There are so many events & hunts going on my head’s been spinning all day.
The Hunt
My summery dress is one I found at the Meva Easter hunt. the Sucre dress. It comes in this delicate floral white texture and it’s free! All you have to do is find the eggs. They aren’t hard to find but you will have to search the store. It’s in one of 10 eggs. Seven eggs contain an assortment of gifts while three eggs are duds. Once you spot one you have to get no less than 10m from the egg. It will let you know if you’re not close enough.

The Other Stuffs
Cosmopolitan is celebrating part 2 of their 13th Anniversary. There are oodles of all manner of free gifts! You will need to join the free Cosmopolitan group. I picked up many gifts. One of those free gifts are my earrings from No_Match. The earrings match the No_Shore hair’s headband so I just HAD to go out and buy it because you can change the colors on the headband and earrings so they match. And I try very hard to be matchy – matchy.
I scored a free set of nails over at QE. All I had to do was slap the MM board and wait for it to lock. The Almond nails are quite lovely as you can see above. There are a good selection of colors in the hud and you can use a different color on each nail. You’ll have fun playing with that hud.
A couple of reminders:
- There is no end date for the Meva egg hunt posted at this time. You do not need a Meva group tag to participate
- Cosmopolitan’s Anniversary round 2 ends on April 26th. With the Cosmo tag activated you can pick up all of the gifts.
- QE has a set of lucky chairs for non-group members and 2 NGN MM boards that seem to change out on a weekly basis.

We’re Calling, We’re Calling the Hunters, Where Can the Hunters Be?
Here we are 1/3 of the way through the month of March. You’d think SL might be a bit quiet but nope. There are several hunts happening right now. Including the most fabulous of all, our FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt! I hit a few spots from several hunts and put together two outfits with items from two of them. Both are from the same creator, Nut & Squirrel (formerly known as Telsiope Couture). I’ve always enjoyed showing off clothing from the store. The quality and attention to details remain the same.
The FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt
My darling dress is looking very good for parties this month. I can swill green beer and look smashing For only $5L! The Reeva dress does show off some skin but you won’t feel nude! It has cutouts in two places with a belt around the waist and two gold buckles. In the package you’ll find the dress along with what is labeled pants and a hud with 18 different textures. The pants are actually panties (at least in my book). I recommend wearing those so you won’t be showing off your goodies if you need to bend down. You can access the hunt pictures and hints here. Nothing on the hunt is more than $5L.

I’m also wearing a cute set of nails I won from the Midnight Mania at QE. The Almond Nails – St Pat’s. These are free and you don’t need a group tag to get them.
Guess I’m getting ready to do a performance. I won’t make as much money as Taylor Swift but I’ll still have fun. I’ve had to practice between hunting for goodies. The Spring Air hunt, another Harambee hunt is underway. The prizes are all $3L and the proceeds benefit the Harambee Gwassi project.
I’ve got another hunt gift from Nut & Squirrel. I’m wearing the Ottavia dress. She may seem a bit sexy with the slits in the dress but she’s worth it. It’s very colorful and just darn cute! The hud contains 11 different print textures just bursting with color. There is a St. Patty’s Day texture in it. Score! It’s a great addition to your wardrobe at $3L.

Dead Fish Don’t Swim Home
Well Fabs, all good things come to an end. October is gone, and now we’re in November, which at least is beautiful inside of SL. Soon we can enjoy the winter sims and skating and adventing ♥ It seems something else has come to an end, my poor fish’s life. That’s how I wound up here at this pond to begin with, to give him a proper send off ( I don’t have a SL toilet 😉 )

To the fish, but hello to the free outfit. I found this freebie gift from Miwa’s Airship on Marketplace a while back, and was just waiting for a season change to blog it. This is the Warm coat, which comes with a FP hud to change the coat color and the t-shirt color. This is an older mesh, sized XS/S/M but it worked perfectly on my Lara X with the included alpha. The Warm coat is 0L on Marketplace, so you can order it up today!
Regarding the fish, he too, was a gift. I picked him up over at Static, where there’s a whole wall of fun and silly gifts. You don’t need a group, you can buy each one for 0L. I wonder what you’ll bring home? 😉

Why Not? Spend Lots of Zero $$$
Good morning or afternoon wherever you are. I’ve spent the last few days going to events with tons of gifts and finding a few other freebies. So I have a few things to tell you about today. Let’s get to it.
Everyone Needs Denim
I joined the EWA VIP group a few months ago. I think it was a good decision because there are numerous group gifts, 9 lucky letter boards, and a midnight mania board available in the store. Today I’m showing off the August group gift. It a super cute denim dress with accents in gold and black. It comes in this texture only. Surely not an issue for me. The VIP group currently has a join fee $249L. If you like the clothing there it is a good investment because of all the gifts, etc. I mentioned above.

Other Free Goodies
I found several free items to complete my look for today. I was alerted to these finds by someone in our FabFree group chats. First up are my free turquoise earrings FabFree gift from Second Nature Jewelry. Once you enter the store turn right and walk past the stairs. The wall of gifts is located on the wall right past those stairs. There are several gifts that do not require a group tag. There are also more gifts for the Mischief Menagerie group (free to join) and the FabFree group (always free to join).
My next trip brought my to Mon Cheri where I found another section filled with free gifts. This is how I picked up my Shelly necklace. Sadly, the owner is closing the store at the end of this month. That means hurry if you want them. The gifts are located to the right of the front desk. I do love turquoise and it semi matched my earrings.

When you get a chance to visit the FLF Birthday Bash you’ll find some free BOM makeup. You will have to join the FLF group to pick up the gifts at the Bash.

You might, by now, know that I’m a huge fan of Madpea, the awesome group that brings you escape rooms and other playable story games, along with interactive card games, carnival games and rides, and the epic grid-wide hunts! They collaborate with 20 designers across the grid, depending on the theme, and then as you find hunt objects, awesome gifts are dropped on you!
Spaced-Out
First, let’s start with all these prizes from the latest hunt, the Cosmic Conquest Alien Secrets Hunt! The hunt HUD costs 100L – which works out to just 5L per prize, what a steal. You buy the HUD and then take the TP’s from the HUD to spots all across the grid, looking for vials of Alien DNA. There are 20 prizes made in collaboration with Madpea from 20 different designers on the grid. Let me show you some of what I’ve won!

There’s no quick way to get all these prizes. You must TP around the grid finding Alien DNA and they will be randomly dropped on you when you find some. The good news is, I received all collaborator prizes in just a few hours of hunting, so it won’t take you days or weeks 😉 You can purchase the hunt HUD at the Madpea Mainstore or at the Cosmic Conquest Alien Secrets HQ.
The hunt runs from May 1- May 31.
Bonus
As an added bonus, if you keep hunting, you keep collecting points that can be spent at the homebase for the hunt. Madpea releases a new prize every day or so, and you can spend the points you earn hunting on 20 different hunts gifts there too! You can even use your points to gift your friends some of the prizes.
Regular SL users, clubs, stores, destinations – they all purchase the Alien DNA objects to hide for hunters to find. It brings people to their spots, and is great for visibility. I’ve found some of the coolest SIMS and met some of the nicest people while hunting.
To be fair, I was quite ready to leave this place we call Earth. It may seem scary, but the alien world seems to be a much kinder, gentler place.

Easy Days
Hey there FabFam. I hope this is turning out to be a lovely weekend for you all. Bright easy days full of sunshine and magic. And of course, great sales! The Saturday Sale is one of SL’s long running Grid wide sales. Just checkout their website and get the info needed to sign up for their Saturday Notecard. It will have all the links to the Shops participating in the sale. Or you can search the Groups Tab for “Saturday Sale Shoppers”.
I had to grab this gorgeous set from QE today because…. well look at it! The top and the skirt are separate pieces and thus are 75L each as part of the sale. But that just squeaks under our limit here on the blog. This lovely set is certainly worth it! Especially since the top comes with a HUD for 8 pastels and the Skirt has it’s own 5 color HUD.
