Hey, fabulous readers! I’m back today with some great gifts for the guys! 🙂
The Hair
Starting at the top is this great hair from DURA. Not only is it a free group gift (and free to join), but it is also a unisex style so you ladies can wear it, too!
The hair includes a HUD with 12 different colors. Click the hair for a resizer menu.
The Jacket
What inspired this look was the gorgeous jacket and messenger bag combo from Gabriel.
The Side-Zip Leather Jacket comes in black, brown, navy, and beige, and includes a “hands-in-pockets” as well as a regular version. Gavin is wearing the black hands-in-pockets version.
Note that there is only 1 size for each version, and the messenger bag is not resizeable.
Each color version includes the messenger bag and is available for purchase for just 1L each. OR, you can purchase the fatpack of all four colors for just 4L!

The Boots
Finding decent free footwear for the fellas is a challenge, so I was really happy to get the notice of Resun’s latest group gift for men.
The Ivan Boots come in the black, unlaced version you see above, and in the following sizes:
- Aesthetic
- Slink
- Signature
- TMP
- Standard mesh with an alpha layer for classic avatars
A couple of notes about these boots:
- When I first unpacked the box, there was nothing in the folder except a landmark, shoe base, and alpha layer. When I tried again I discovered that EACH BOOT is offered as a separate item, so be sure you accept each one. I didn’t do this the first time – DOH! Then I couldn’t find where the unpacked items went… but finally found them all in my Objects folder. Just letting you know so you don’t have the same experience!
- The boots are not resizeable, but you can reposition them. I found the Slink version came up a bit high on the leg, so I was glad to be able to move them down a bit.

Ax-Man…
I may not have mutant superpowers, but I can swing a mean axe. Who needs adamantium claws when this axe will split a stack of logs in a matter of minutes? I just hope there is a warm beverage waiting for me inside when I’m done.

Bento gloves for my Bento hands…
Ever since I received the update for my body and now have Bento hands, I’m playing with them all the time (as some of my Flickr followers have seen). And now I can use the Male Bento Gloves, a FREE group gift at E-Clipse Design. This gift also includes a texture HUD to change the gloves color to either Sand, Brown, or Black. Sometimes (Real) Life Gets in the Way
Oh, Hey!
Sorry to have been MIA for most of November, but this month has been a total b!$@h. Real life just kept my attention way too much to get anything else accomplished. I want to thank my fellow bloggers for keeping busy finding great free finds and a warm (although late) welcome to Aline. I’ll stick my toe back in the proverbial blogging pool and test the waters…
Updates and Pixel Odor…
I was delighted when I actually had a bit of free time to find that both my head and mesh body had updates. (I can’t wait to wiggle my fingers) 🙂 It was also pointed out to me that I had been wearing the same outfit for over three weeks and it was starting to smell (can pixels smell?) So I decided to leave the sanctuary in the clouds and hit a few stores.

Back on Campus
Has it been a month already?
I can hardly believe I’ve been back to work for four weeks now. I’m settling into my new position (a promotion of sorts) and the campus is a flurry of activity. I can finally lean back and breathe a sigh of relief that I’m finding my groove.
Old or new? I’m not sure….
Being out of the blogging game for a few months has left me wondering if gifts are old news or new and fresh. So please bear with me as I find both old and new treasures. I stopped by Gizza Creations and found a L’Homme group gift that I didn’t have. The Malcolm Shirt is FREE to L’Homme members and the group is FREE to join. I then headed over to Resun Fashions as I had a few months of group gifts to collect. I was pleased to find the Mexico Jeans are the September group gift. I was even more pleased to learn that the group which normally costs 100L to join is currently FREE.

The Cubicle
Workin’ for a livin’…
As we hit the downside of the week, my thoughts turn not to the tasks at hand, but to the weekend. To relax and be with friends and family and to do what I want, when I want, WHERE I want and NOT be stuck in this cubicle. My RL cubicle is larger than this one, but it is still windowless and dreary. This boy needs a little bit of sunshine about now…
I don’t want to work…
My office attire is this month’s group gift from Resun. The Ramon Outfit is a black shirt and tie with tan slacks. Dropping a quick post out for you all with some information you may enjoy. The Resun group is currently FREE to join. I remember stopping by there a few times after seeing items on the feeds (yes, I do look at the feeds from time to time) but never picking anything up because the group fee was too pricey for my wallet.
