All Alone On Christmas

It’s really not so bad being alone for Christmas. It’s beautiful outside, all the music is jolly, and I have eggnog. I don’t have to wrap presents for a ton of people, I don’t have to jump around party to party, I just get to chill out right here in front of my beautifully decorated tree, the snow falling outside, such a peaceful quiet in the air.
It’s really rather lovely. It’s good for the soul.

Home Alone!

Alone, but always jolly! I stopped over to the MIIX Event to do the advent calendar and I discovered there’s a whole load of presents under the tree! The same free group is needed for the advent and the gifts under the tree, it’s the Hype Events group. You know the running joke about people being disappointed to get socks for Christmas? Well, not this girl! They are a minor obsession of mine in SL, and I was thrilled to find some under the tree waiting for meeeeeeeeee! Look what else I got:

A Cup of Cheer

There’s nothing that makes me feel nostalgic and homey quite like a cup of hot chocolate. There’s something about it that brings me back in time to snow days, and special Christmas gatherings where magic seems to permeate the air.

The Future Looks Bright

Hey there Fab Free, so 2019 has come to an end and here we all are faced with the start of a whole new trip around the sun to look forward to. From here I am happy to say that I think 2020 looks rather bright. As for the immediate future, I say we continue celebrate with this champagne pose by Diversion while looking pretty stellar in this little black dress from BWC.

Wishing you a happy holiday hideaway corner

Hey there Fabulouses! I don’t know about you, but during the hectic holidays I think it’s a good idea to create a little hideaway from everyone else just for little breaks here and there. I have created one in SL too, although I am not sure what I am hiding from here! There is a lot of fun and free stuff in this picture on my avatar, and around it, and I’ll do my best not to get too wordy below and keep it to the point as well as make sure I add in direct TPs to those Shop & Hop locations ;).

My Holiday Look:

My outfit today is put together using the Caroline Plaid Skirt in Red that you can pick up at Safira under the Christmas Tree with your group tag activation (50L to join). It also comes with a chain and leather belt, however, I attached a cat and it fell off…
I have paired it up with the Evie Glitter Top available at Shop & Hop as a free gift. It comes with a HUD that allows you to match the sparkles to whatever you are wearing, and they do… indeed sparkle!
My necklace is Cae’s Bauble Necklace and it comes with earrings too and a texture change HUD too. You can find this at Shop & Hop as a free gift.
I’ve got Alaskametro’s Shop & Hop Gift – Time Square Eyeshadow on my eyes, and it comes in several different colours. My lipstick has been blogged before, but it’s a free tester called Crimson at the Alaskametro store too, in case you are interested.

Top Secret Hideaway Corner:

I started this little corner with the Mean Pillows by Lybra available for purchase at Santa Inc. because they cracked me up with sayings like “For Christmas I wish you the best… alone time” and “Christmas is where you are… not”. After I had those all settled, I added a couple of free gifts and of course the cat and a stack of books:
