Hey Ho Fabs!

Well the hustle and bustle of the main holiday is over, but we’re still celebrating all things merry and bright on the grid. Plus, who has even gotten the chance to go through the piles of gifts they picked up this month? You might look at your inventory and say “I’ve got enough”, but that’s where we come in. Picking out some of our favorite gifts from events to encourage you to ‘go get this too!’ LOL

Guilty

Here I am, pleading guilty to the above. There are so many nice free gifts in Santa’s Gift Storm and I know you’ll want them. Check out the deets:

These gifts Santa dropped off at each store are only going to be around until January 2nd, so you can’t delay! Crystal clear

One thing I didn’t make crystal clear in my photo is that there’s a brand new group gift at Warpaint and I’m in love! You guys see me in pictures all the time and may have noticed I always have crystals or pearls around my eyes, most of them being from Warpaint, and now she’s given us new ones! The Grace eye glitter is everything I’ve ever wanted (even if it does accentuate the bags under my eyes). These are BOM crystals in multiple colors that are worn just under your eye. They were perfect to make my eyes look all icy (along with my new Void lashes, thank you SantaCheese!) You can find the new gift inside the store just past the doorway from the lobby and the group is currently free to join.

We Stand on Guard for Thee

Hey FabFree! 🍁Happy Canada Day! 🍁 It’s time for my annual post being exceedingly stereotypical and blathering about all the things that make my country a great place to be. This year, I’m feeling very Canadian indeed, so buckle up, eh. I usually go on a rant about Nanaimo bars and Beaver Tails, about poutine and butter tarts… or I mention the Ryans (Gosling and Reynolds), or perhaps I talk about insulin and pacemakers (Canadian inventions… and we could also argue for the telephone…). But this year, I just want to talk of my pride for a country that has a great story of kindness, resilience, unity, and ambition. We may mess up now and then, but we will always try to be better. And for that, I’m very grateful.

So let’s raise a glass to the true North, strong and FREE!

Hair First

Ok, I could go on about the Maple Leaf forever, but let’s get to the goods. Over at Summerfest, Navy & Copper have put out another dollarbie hairstyle. It’s kind of a wearable demo in three grey hues, and for one Linden, I’m happy to wear this bad boy (with hat included) all summer long. Just head over to their booth and buy the “freebie” pack. Sweet! Summerfest is running until July 13th.

Oh Happy Day

I also continued my annual tradition of trawling through MP for anything vaguely Canadian, and I’ve returned to this tank top which is an oldie but a goodie. You can buy it for just 1L on Marketplace and it has three different textures you can apply via HUD. Exactly what you need to celebrate the land that invented snowmobiles, pablum and Basketball (yep, look it up!).

Just tap tap tap your toes to the beat!

Tonight the eve of the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt, I bring you previews from two of the shops participating. I didn’t plan for these two to work together so well but oh boy they do! That goes to show you that almost anything (almost is the keyword there) can go into a shot and make it look good. Though when you have two designer items that are spot on… there are no mistakes to be made 🙂

The first stop we hit will be Serendipity, their hunt item is 5 FREE poses for you! I know I said the same thing, so lucky! The 5 bento poses all have mirror copies for your lefty and righty hand peeps out there, or whatever your good side it 😉 They are super cute and legit a top favorite I’ll be sure to use again in the near future!

I am loving the Womenstuff Hunt as you might have guessed, as I’ve already featured some of the gifts I’ve found in posts {here}, {here}, and {here}. Today I wanted to show off a pretty formal cocktail dress that I picked up for free while I was out with my usual hunting date. Sugar Buttons (Part 1)

OMG I have sooo very many adorable things to show you from a “new-to-me” shop called Sugar Button Boutique. So many cute things in fact that I can’t fit it into one post! Just consider this the first installment of tons of adorable freebies. Right now Sugar Button Boutique has several of their former hunt items and a few freebies out near the front of their main store. These items don’t require a group, so anyone can come pick them up! There are also several current and past group gifts out for grabs and the group is free to join. There are also a couple of lucky chairs and a Midnight Mania board. Last but not at all least, I also picked up the most recent group gift from Panda Punx. The gift is a sugary sweet looking skin with pretty pink lips and freckles!
