Decor Galore

Hey FabFree! I am getting cozy in my PJs and enjoying this pretty new bed set I found! My entire decor scene is made of free hunt prizes and group gifts today. I have some time-sensitive freebies to share in this post, so I’m going to jump right to it so you can get them too!

I Love Kazza

I was delighted to discover that Kazza is participating in the Aurelias Egg Hunt. This hunt ends today, so go ASAP to get their hunt prizes! Both of Kazza’s prizes are free, and you are looking for eggs on the sim to find them. The first prize is the “BytheSea” bed, which comes in Adult and PG versions with options to change the colour of the bedsheets to blue and white or pink and white. The second prize is the carpet, pillows, and table. The pillows include animations that are meant to be used on the carpet. I’m in love with these finds, and they are my personal favourites from the Easter season this year. Don’t delay and collect up the prizes today before it’s too late.

New at Noveny

I’m not sure how new these gifts are at Noveny, but they were new to me! All of their gifts are by the landing point. Here are the gifts I am showing from Noveny in my scene this morning:

The rectangular wall shelf with the plant and sculpture on it is a TeleportHub group gift. Just join the TeleportHub group for 10L and the gift is yours for no cost!
The leaf-shaped wall structure is a group gift for members of Noveny’s group. Their group currently costs 30L to join. This is a pretty cool item, because the Noveny logo is a leaf and it’s a nice homage to the store! You can resize the shelves to fit your needs. You may choose to decorate these shelves with smaller decor items (plants, food, books, etc.) to make your scene look pretty.
The little lightbulb sculpture that I decorated the shelf with is another Noveny group gift. If you look closely inside the lightbulb, there is dirt and a small tree growing inside it. This is a “terrarium” and it’s really pretty. The Noveny group has some other group gifts as well and they give out gift cards sometimes so it’s worth the join fee if you love home and decor items.

Not just for Christmas

One thing that really resonated with me about this beautiful gift from Baby Monkey is that it can speak to many people. As said in the beautiful little note that was included with the gift: “If you are not a Christian we think this is still a charming family group that speaks to the enduring love of parents for their child.” This is a gift that is for all families, not just those who celebrate Christmas.

Eternal Winter

It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a full hunt, but when I saw some of the previews for The Eternal Hunt, I just had to try! The Eternal Hunt is a stamp hunt, meaning you have to wear a hud and follow the teleports to each location and find the hunt object. For this hunt, you’ll be looking for a glowing blue infinity sign. The hud also gives a hint at each location, which is very helpful. Once you’ve visited each location, found the source of infinity, you’ll be teleported to a gift room with about 20 or so FREE gifts from the participating stores. If it’s been a while since you explored Second Life, a hunt like this is a great way to discover new stores, and to check out what’s happening at stores you know. You must do the hunt in order, and you must find the hidden infinity at each location to gain access to the prize room. This hunt ends November 21, so don’t wait, bring a friend and have some fun!

I have to admit, the gift I was most interested in is this stunning fantasy skin from Fallen Gods. I was immediately in love with the ethereal look of this skin. Fallen Gods also happens to be the start location for The Eternal Hunt, you can pick up the hunt HUD there and start your journey to find the source of infinity at each location. Once you’ve reached the end prize room, this skin called “Sidera Starborn” from Fallen Gods is one of the several FREE gifts. This incredibly generous gift includes a full skin set for both men and women. The set includes the system skin in a full version and a PG version, and appliers for just about everything. There is an applier for Slink body, Slink Hands & Feet, as well as a Slink Nail applier so you can perfectly match your nails to this beautiful skin. Also included are appliers for TMP head and body, Omega compatible bodies and heads, Loud Mouth, the Soul Uni Ear, and the Soul Mer Ear.

Another of my favorites from the hunt is the FREE gift from EMO-tions. This gorgeous hair includes a color/size change hud, and these incredibly detailed horns. The horns have a few color change options within the hair hud as well. You can also wear the hairstyle without the horns all together. I really like that this style is pulled up and away from the face, and is long and full down the back. The style is called Love War, which I think suits it well. The color change hud includes shades of black and white, including some silver/grey tones in the middle and a few “faded” options as well. I thought the silver fade option went really well with the skin from Fallen Gods, but honestly all of the colors are pretty.

Next, I think these earrings from OXI are so versatile. They are also a FREE Eternal Hunt prize. They include a texture change hud with a few color options for the gems, and the metal parts of the earrings. I could see these being worn as part of a fantasy look like this one, or something modern and urban. Not to mention that these great geometric shapes are so in right now. I love them.

I picked one last gift to show from the slew of FREE Eternal Hunt gifts, and it’s this beautifully unique art statue from Balderdash. This “Moonbranch” sculpture has an otherworldly magenta glow that seems to make the hanging crystals shimmer and shine. It makes me think of witchcraft and alchemy. I thought it would be really beautiful standing in a garden, or as part of a fantasy setting of some kind.
