Happy Monday, Fabulous Readers! My trusty hunt partner and I hit the trail of the MicRo Store’s Warm December Hunt this weekend and picked up this cozy wintery outfit for a total of just 37L$. You’ll be searching for snowmen scattered around the sim, and prizes cost from 1-20L$ each. The event runs through December 31st.

To create this outfit, I combined three prizes from the hunt. My Cozy December Hunt Hoody (prize # 1) features cheerful stripes, handy pockets, and a warm, knitted texture. There are three versions of the hoody in the folder – pink, gray, and white, and it costs 15L$. Although they look quite gray in my photo, my Cozy December Leggings (prize #9), are actually the white version. They hug your curves and have a slightly striped appearance. The folder costs 15L$ and contains gray and white leggings with optional sweaters to wear tied around your waist. Finally, I slipped on chunky winter Cozy December Boots (prize #4) to complete the look. With thick soles to insulate your feet and golden chain accents, you’ll stay snug and warm in style. The prize folder contains pink, gray, and white boots, and it is priced at 7L$.

I’ve been trying my luck on the XOXO hunt. It’s a fairly simple concept – you tp to the location, find the box (they’re not that hard to find, I promise), and then in local chat, type “XOXO”. If the box feels you’re being romantic enough, it will gift you something fancy for free! If not, well you have the choice of buying the prize for 50L or to come back in 24 hours and try all over again! You can grab the handy-dandy HUD on Marketplace to preview the prizes and help with teleporting from location to location. I got lucky at both KoKoLoReS and Bodhi!
The top I’m wearing from Bodhi is a very hot, off the shoulders number which makes me want to make horrible puns about giving people the cold shoulder. I promise I won’t. It’s really pretty though, isn’t it?

I also picked up this sleek and yet voluminous hairdo from KoKoLoReS. It comes in several different shades, in my favourite colours: all fades where the ends of the hair are gorgeous shades of pink or blonde. I of course went my signature dark with pink tips! Best of all, both these prizes were completely free!

The Nature’s Hunt Tropical Nights runs from July 29 – August 31. The starting point is Sacred Flames Weddings . I love this hunt, it always has a lot of really nice gifts in it. Here is the first 15 gifts. Please pay no attention to some of the pictures, SL decided to eat my setting about mid way thru and I didn’t notice till I had already logged off.

Fire Beach Designs @ Sacred Flames Weddings – Garden Wicker Set. This set includes 2 wicker chairs, end table, foot stool and plant . I love the little birdies on the table and stool.

Casa De Zen = Sunset Surrounds Me Chair. This set actually includes 3 chairs and table, all with 3 sits in them, the table has one sit in it. Each pillow has a sit in them.

Miss Darcy! – Tropical Sunset Dress. I love this dress, it isn’t as bright as it looks in the picture, and it comes with a cocktail to drink. I really needed that cocktail after I saw the setting had changed.

Loka Design – Bangles and rings. I didn’t have to do much adjusting on these and I’m very surprised, I always have to stretch and adjust.
