There were several “Valentine-y” gifts at the Wink Fair Event today too. Never heard of “Wink”? I hadn’t either and it seems to be a brand new sales event for us. There are a bunch of booths, some well known designers and some that are new to me, and loads of free gifts. So it’s off to a great start!
One of those free gifts is the frilly lacey body suit from ILL ( I Love Linda) This is the ‘Sofia’ bodysuit and you’ll get this sweet white suit as well as yellow, red, and a teal blue. The design is stunning and the build is so so good. I will be keeping this one!

Remember, You Can Tune a Piano But…
Now the pose and the piano come from Le Poppycock, where a lot of us have been stalking lately, because she literally has a room of Next Up machines to play with more cute and fun poses than you can shake a stick at! (pictures herself standing in the room shaking a stick at the machines but finally giving up) The machines are all 75L or less a play (this one is 75L) and one of my very favorite things about these poses is that you can use them anywhere, because you wear the prop and it poses you, so you do not have to rez them! (does happy dance!) So am I wearing the piano or is the piano wearing me? One of life’s great mysteries my friends, but whichever way, it works like a charm!

Well hello there everyone! So this post is a little bit more about myself than some of the others. Don’t get me wrong, there are some awesome freebies and cheapies to be had also, not to worry! This month’s photo challenge was to depict yourself with your SL pets. Well, in my many years in Second Life, I’ve had man virtual pets, cats, dogs, fish, even horses. Still, those are all pets I could have or even have had in my First life. That got me thinking, if I could have any pet, what would it be. Well, I’ll tell you, I’d have a darn zoo of both real and imagined creatures! lol One thing most people might not know about me is just how dorky I really am. So, I’ve decided to let my geekiness shine through.
I chose Taun Tauns as my Second Life pets. Yep, here I am a modern-day Twilek complete with pretty blue skin, thanks to La Petite Morte, perfectly matching nails from {ZOZ}, and even the Lekku on my head from SDS. At first I spent a lot of time trying to figure out an “authentic” looking Twilek outfit. Something a character in the Star Wars stories might wear. Then it occurred to me that if I dressed up like a Twilek and posed with my little Tauntauns, I wouldn’t really be showing myself, just a character. So here I am, part Twilek, part Pin-up, part tatoo’d freak, fashion-obsessed super geek and I love it!
Since this post is also about my pets, are these Tauntauns not just freakishly cute!? Okay, maybe only my fellow Star Wars nerds will think that as I do. lol So if you fall into that category, these are a MUST HAVE, especially considering they are FREE!
