Happy Anniversary to You!

I’ve been a resident of Second Life for many years now. One of the shops I’ve always loved is having an 11th Anniversary Celebration. I’m really happy that Shanti Bohemian is still alive and kicking after 11 years. To celebrate another trip around the sun a hunt is in full swing. All of the gifts are scattered around the sim. The hunt object is a a little gold balloon with the number 11 on it!

Take this taxi to Shanti. There are 7 balloons hidden around the sim. Each will set you back $1L. If you find them all you’ll end up with a dress, a jumper, a top & skirt set, a pair of boots, and a pair of legwarmers with plats. And the outfits & items you’ll get are up to the quality you can always expect from Shanti. In addition, there are 2 VIP group gifts. so join the group, it’s free.

Well you might have guessed I’m wearing something from Shanti. This saucy number is the Julia Top & Skirt. It has all kinds of little details that sets it apart. I added the Diane boots I picked up on the hunt – perfect!. A schoolgirl vibe is what I got once I dressed so I wandered off to find a school. Maybe I’ll join the children’s choir at St. Columba! I’m waiting for Mother Superior to decide if I’m a good enough girl for the school.

Searching for Neverland

Peter Fan

Shanti has a really fun hunt at their store for the month of June. It’s The Neverland Hunt, a homage to the Peter Pan universe. What a fun theme! I absolutely love all the movies and books such as Peter Pan, Hook and my favourite of all time is the film Finding Neverland. I even saw a Peter Pan musical on Broadway. I’m a fan to say the least. So this was a fun one for me! Each prize costs 3 linden on the hunt. You will find the hunt key, hunt object, and preview of the prizes here. There are 8 prizes in total to collect until June 30th.

I am showcasing the gown and the butterfly headdress from the hunt. Several items from this hunt are made using hand-painted textures, so they are really vibrant and ethereal.
