Gavin and I are both wearing the July group gifts from SHIKI (free to join); for me, that includes this brightly-colored dress, and for Gavin, it’s the shorts and polo shirt. Gavin is also wearing the mesh boat shoes which are a group gift from GABRIEL, sunglasses from Vooza (featured at Epicosity’s Beach Party), and a group gift bracelet from Chop Zuey.
Both of us are wearing free gift hairs from Hair Fair 2013. Gavin’s is one of many for men and women found in the gift box from Alli & Ali. Mine is the gift from Analog Dog, which you can pick up your favorite color, as well as every other color! I’m wearing my favorite red, but you can see Care wearing a different color here. Dark sky, November leaves, with a chilly breeze, it might be time to snuggle up to something warm. Lucky for me, the dashing Mr. Foxdale was there to keep me warm when we ventured out into the cool weather to show off these Men and Women group gifts from Shiki.
To say the least I was rather happy that our first outfits, the October group gifts, came with such a nice coat for Mr. Foxdale. The coats helped block some of the chill, and I am sure Cal would have given me the coat if I wasn’t so stubborn. Oh the things we women do for fashion! But come on, look at the dress! Does it not yell,Fall Styling Diva!
When it was time to change outfits, I think I knocked Cal of his feet with Shiki September gift. That statement is more literal than figurative, in many more ways than one. Being the captain clumsy person I am, I accidentally removed the platform causing Cal and I to plumet to the ground. So even though we were having a near death experience, I must admit we were looking damn good as we were falling. If I could have snapped a picture, instead of scrambling to fly, it probably would have been a really nice picture. In my opinion the dress is a nice tribute to fall flowers and it compliments Cal striped cardigan. These looks definitely revamp the classical idea of cheesy matching couple outfits, and makes it fashionable. But, coupled or not, I would still head out in either of these dresses alone.
Now just because I only highlighted two set of outfits, does not mean their isn’t more at the store. If your coupled up, you can make it a date night. OH and its free to join the group!

Renee has shown the first 1-20 Finding FabFree gifts, and I will be showing you 21-40 in this post, and Trinket will be up next with 41-60 and Kyle with the men’s items.. First however, In Renee’s introductory post to the Finding FabFree Hunt, she said ” I’ve told you my “Finding FabFree” story. How did you Find FabFree?”, and I thought this would be an excellent time to share my early experiences with Fabulously Free in SL 🙂
I joined SL in March of 2010, arriving with a group of friends from another game, and I was fortunate to have a couple of friends who were here a few weeks before hand and were able to hook me up with some (what I thought was) decent stuff. Like most noobs of that era, I wore the likes of strappy bling shoes and strutted around quite pleased with my sparkly self. After three glorious months of giggling insanely over “the thriller dance on command” (it is still kind of funny after 2 years lol), and looking like a TOTAL noob, I met a friend who introduced me to the Fabulously Free in SL blog. The first blog I read was a post done by Carson about Garden of Dreams. Since reading that first post, I scanned the blog every day picking up the things the FabFree Bloggers said were must haves and I never thought I’d be lucky enough to be the one writing at Fabulously Free myself a year later! That’s my story – what’s yours?
If you’ve never been to Shiki you really should go! There are four years worth of monthly group gifts for men and women. The June gift for the ladies is the indigo summer dress. The Escher skin, from Shine, isn’t free but is an exclusive for the Skin Addiction Showcase which ends today. If you haven’t been to the showcase yet, go now!
The thing I really like about hunts (other than the free gifts) is I get to visit stores I’ve never shopped at before. While searching out all the hunt gifts on the Mr. Hunter v. ii Hunt, I found the Poplin Aubrey Shirt at MANGO. I immediately fell in love with the texturing on the shirt and plan on going back later to look for other items that fit my style.
I also get a chance to visit some of my old favorite stores like SHIKI. The Mr. Hunter gift is the Oriental Aloha Shirt. No matter what your style, you’ll find something to your liking on the Mr. Hunter v. ii Hunt.
I’m back with four more gifts from the Jack or Jill Hunt. Earlier, I showed the jeans in the hunt gift from Rispetto Designs. The JOJ Maschili Outfit also includes a gray sweater and knit cap.
The Fuse Leather Pants and Gray/Black Stripe Sweater is the Jack or Jill Hunt prize found at Kennedy’s.

SHIKI Designs contributed the Pink Nakano Style Outfit as their hunt prize. The pink sweater and gray twill pants go great together.
The Runway Perfect Hunt is underway and continues until October 31st! There are 50 items in the hunt and each item is FREE! I picked up each and every item in the hunt except for #45 as the prim isn’t out yet – but I do have 49 runway themed treats to tell you about! You’ll be searching for a black and white runway prim.
Oceane’s Body Design is #5 in the hunt and is offering the fun cheetah makeup tattoo below (left photo). #2 in the hunt is a three pack of face tattoos from White Widow in different colours. (photo on the right)
Shiki (#17) is offering us for the hunt, the Retro Glam Dress below (left). #30 in the hunt is from Paris Metro and includes the Fur Yeti Skirt and Deep V Umber Top. Paris Metro also has a mens outfit that is very nice, and matches the womens! The photo to the right is the Katiana Gown from Alloro. (#46).
#29 in the hunt is from Kissy Designs and they are giving away this super cute Sweet Suga Blue Dress which I have paired up with the Crie Style Ardito Glasses (#44).
#15 is from Angel Dessous (left pic) and #12 is from Carries Lingerie which also included a pair of mens matching silk boxers. My cocktail ring is #38 from CCD.
Below are three great outfits that can be found in the hunt. (The first item in the photo was an error, I must have picked up the wrong hunt item – pls disregard!). The middle photo shows the two piece gift from Legal Insanity (#27) and the photo to the right is the hunt item from Prism (#41)
#6 is the Melissa Shape from The Beauty Lounge and I am also wearing Wistful Eyes which came in a 4pk from Sterling Artistry (#47). My Sweet Top is from NC Paris, #36 and I am not sure what’s holding it up! Very cute.
The CHG Store’s gift is The Perfecto Outfit shown on the left (#39) and the GNC Dress on the right is from Vero Modero (#48). The necklace and earrings set I am wearing with both outfits is #9 from Purple Moon.
