Good morning or afternoon wherever you are. I’ve spent the last few days going to events with tons of gifts and finding a few other freebies. So I have a few things to tell you about today. Let’s get to it.

Everyone Needs Denim

I joined the EWA VIP group a few months ago. I think it was a good decision because there are numerous group gifts, 9 lucky letter boards, and a midnight mania board available in the store. Today I’m showing off the August group gift. It a super cute denim dress with accents in gold and black. It comes in this texture only. Surely not an issue for me. The VIP group currently has a join fee $249L. If you like the clothing there it is a good investment because of all the gifts, etc. I mentioned above.

Other Free Goodies

I found several free items to complete my look for today. I was alerted to these finds by someone in our FabFree group chats. First up are my free turquoise earrings FabFree gift from Second Nature Jewelry. Once you enter the store turn right and walk past the stairs. The wall of gifts is located on the wall right past those stairs. There are several gifts that do not require a group tag. There are also more gifts for the Mischief Menagerie group (free to join) and the FabFree group (always free to join).

My next trip brought my to Mon Cheri where I found another section filled with free gifts. This is  how I picked up my Shelly necklace. Sadly, the owner is closing the store at the end of this month. That means hurry if you want them. The gifts are located to the right of the front desk. I do love turquoise and it semi matched my earrings.

Painting Me Pretty

When you get a chance to visit the FLF Birthday Bash you’ll find some free BOM makeup. You will have to join the FLF group to pick up the gifts at the Bash.

Unique And Expensive Mesh Head… For Free?

How many of us own this head but tried it but it looked anything but feminine with it?

Well, these days I’ve decided that I’ll try different heads and bodies for my posts. I like challenges although then I’m so busy I can’t really keep up with my primary tasks 😛

So this time I tried to fit the Strong mesh head by Genus project, which is great and free! The only thing you need to do is to join their group for free and click on the wall. Easy peasy! you have 4 gifts:  the head, couple of skins and a tattoo. So if you want to try a new style, give this one another chance, you wont look like everyone else, that is for sure. You will probably not like it at the beggining but if you try it with the right shape, everything changes.

The skin is also one of the group gifts on the wall ! I think it gives a lot to the look. It’s BOM and has different brows.

With All The right Angles On The Right Places

One month ago Mimitu had this 50L promo shape. So this month the promo is for a shape made specifically for Strong head. It makes you look confident, smart and full of life. Like a boss.

So you have one excuse less to not like this look. 🙂

Makes All Sense

With my new look I went to several events yesterday,  I went over to Sense event, joined the group (for free) and got one exclusive gift as they offer for every edition.

Yesss I think everyone loves a good skin, and tres beau it’s always one of the top skin creators if you are into natural, sweet looking faces. This one is made on a BOM tattoo layer (only for the head) and works for Lel EvoX heads, comes with neck blends. Ears as BoM Layers. Brows / No brows options. Shapes for Head & Brows. 10 Lipsticks as BoM Layers.

Their group is normally 350L (and that’s why I was not a member, lol) but now, oh surprise! the group is free to join for now, so please please do it as soon as you can, because we never know, right? they also have a lot of gifts, such as blush, eyebrows… just around the reception desk. Can’t Even Count the Amount of Free Clothes I Got

I came across this body, the Ultra Vixen mesh body which I really didn’t know about, but hey, they are a looot of things I don’t know about 😛  I tried it on, it looked great on my shape, I edited it here and there and I was ready to be a Vixen and have the perky look for the first time in SL. The body is 699L and there are a LOT of free clothes and shoes for her, you don’t need to join the group as they are all over: on the walls, on a table, so just buy them for 0L.  I couldn’t help but making a post with this stylish and cute dress which is in one of my favorite colours for spring.

If you like big and perky breasts yourself, you should give it a try. The good thing is that it uses BOM skins (the one we use on any other body) and it fits properly on the Lelutka necks, so you can customize as much as you need. I’ve been told also that if you own any older version of this body, you get the update for free.

Let’s Celebrate Mesh (Free Stuff for Men Too!)

Beachy on her post, transports us to nostalgia in SL. Oh  the times when mesh didn’t exist. Right, we were walking around in our textures over the bare skin and flexy skirts over textured legs. Wonderful times anyway!

Oh if I remember well.

I used to have a problem tho. Since I always been a sucker for good fun graphic t-shirts, and oversized clothes, back then I’d look everywhere for a loose t-shirt one that wasn’t all fitted to my shape.

Remember they didn’t exist? I even tried making my own t-shirts. Nope. It was very sad when I had to wear a bag shaped prim to my belly in the attempt to recreate the shape of a loose t-shirt.  Well, happily mesh came to our rescue. Now we can have graphic t-shirts, crop tops, tank tops, and also plain loose basic shirts like this one, the right length so people wouldn’t be sure if it’s a dress or a t-shirt, perfect. That’s why as soon as I got this t-shirt I knew that I had to tell you girls to head out to SL Mesh body Event  this month and pick up the gift from TRS Designs.

Apparently according to the name, this is a dress 😀 I’ll keep styling mine as a t-shirt tho!

How to Make Your Monday Sunnier

I wanted, for a long time, to share the group gifts and lucky chairs from Le’La. Maybe this store is familiar to most of you, the gifts are always rotating and the creator is always adding something new. A lovely lady that I met on the group guided me thru all their gifts and promotions for the first time and since then I periodically hang out there, waiting for my letter to appear on one of the lucky chairs or lucky boards . The group is 100L to join but it’s long term worth it, you can literally wear your tag and go shopping to their Gift room.

As soon as I arrived, I got my eyes on this beautiful set, sexy, yet elegant blouse and leather skirt.  They make,  for sure, a very stylish outfit that I matched with the sandals I won at one of their lucky chairs, I was very pleased to see that everything comes in fatpacks!

Today it was a long day! and when I finally gave myself some spare time to blog, SL started playing with me and my feelings. It wouldn’t let me log in! Did you guys found yourself also reading the SL blog for updates about this issue?

What made the Entire Look

I came across Mowdols, a store that specialize in afro hair and skins, I got their group gifts, nails, skins (for Lelutka heads) and hair! their hair is fabulous, but then, when I found a hairbase that would fit my Lelutka EvoX head, I felt like I  needed to wear a more appropriate  skin and shape for my beautiful darker look. So I created a shape that would perfectly suit a darker skin without being too out of character for my style. I love a classy and youthful/cute look and I think this shape pretty much tick all those boxes.  So I put it for sale at my store, Mimitu for 50L full mod, also as an “opening” special item for the members, as well with a couple of gifts, since it’s the first time I am talking about my tiny tiny store in this blog.

Not my Last Time at Dernier

Dernier means last in French, but I’m pretty sure that once you get something from them, you always want to go back! I have this beautiful skin and some clothes, but yesterday I was surprised to see that they have two groups: one free and the other exclusive group with a 250L fee with really high class gifts, and they are several. I joined the free one, being the broke person I am 😛 and was happy about my gifts! got 3 entire outfits, one of them being this bodysuit and the other came with the rainbow eyeliner I am wearing.

The answer is no.

So when Ysoral sends us their notice that there is a new gift for group members, the answer is always a huge YES! so huge that it seems as every girl on the grid who was online, was trying to enter the store. And it’s only natural, since Ysoral has a wonderful taste and their pieces are fine, delicate and original, definitely one of my favorite jewelry stores. Let’s Get Sunburned in Sicily

I worked so hard for my first post that I decided I needed to take a vacation.  😛

Jokes aside,  where I live it keeps raining and raining every day, that I am eagerly waiting for some sunny days and warm breeze! It’s about time!

The other day I was shopping at Chain and noticed the warm ambiance that guided me to a hidden oasis that reminded me so much of Sicily where you can find these little spots and just lay down your towel and swim on the warm sea, get a tan and relax without being overwhelmed by tourists, just a few locals that will smile at you and even offer you their umbrella if they see you frying too much under the sun, lol.  I felt nostalgia so immediately I knew that I had to make a post in this place to, at least virtually, enjoy that wonderful sun that yells “summertime”.

What to Wear?

As soon as I decided to get a bikini, I knew who I had to ask for advice, the specialist, the person who has a sunny beach in her heart: our lovely Beachy who guided me to this perfect one piece from Bombshell that comes in several colors with and without the strips. The hat! the hat started everything I promise! I love hats in RL I try to use them with my outfits as soon as possible so when I saw this hat as a dollarbie at Ghee, I was in awe. They have a lot of dollarbies under their desk (I know, maybe I shouldn’t be zooming inside their desk) but hey, at least I found all the goodies! They also have a lot of group gifts, the group is paid and I was very tempted to join but I have too many that I paid for! so I have to carefully think about which one to leave. Yes, I’ve reached that point.

Whenever I am on vacation I take my accessories with me, but I try not to pack some expensive piece of jewelry as it’s almost sure that I will be losing it or misplacing it. So I take bijouterie that is made to wear during that vacation or I even buy myself some cute souvenir from the spot, these necklaces reminded me of those necklaces that people offer me and I sometimes end up buying. The green crystal gem is from Asteroidbox, its a group gift and the group is 75L to join.

OMG the hair!

The hair in SL is not messy as it gets with the salty water, sun, sand and everyday shampoo as it gets in RL but my problem was finding a hair that would fit inside my hat lol so I finally came across one of the group gifts from KUNI. The group here is free to join as well.

Only The Ocean

Coming Soon to Fab Free!

As it always is, the rest of the world is chilling out, but we’re just down here heating up.  What’s a girl to do?  Head to the ocean, which cures all things.  Here, listing to the waves crashing, the seagulls cheering, tasting the salt in the air, you can forget it’s supposed to be winter and enjoy the summer again.

I was inspired to head to the sea after coming across some great new free gifts on the grid.  There’s been a name on a store on the N-Uno/Nanika sim for a while, and it looks like it’s finally in business.  Meet Margo!  Margo is a sweet summery store that melds well with the other stores on the SIM.  Margo also has this adorable dress as a free group gift and the group is free to join.  It has a dainty spaghetti strap falling down my left shoulder, but I was chilly, I had to throw this jacket over my shoulder to cover up a bit.  The dress comes in 4 sizes:

Another sweet summery style I found isn’t clothing, oh my it’s a hairstyle! LEAU store has this adorable style as a free group gift, and her store is free to join.  It has a fatpack color hud, 4 styles, rigged in 3 sizes AND has bangs (not shown).  It was a perfect match for my summery dress and my seaside style. LEAU shares a space with Ichigo, you want to head to the blue half of the space and look for the blue box on the table.

I love fun fashion.  New designs really get me excited, and Brillancia is a store full of really fresh designs that are totally affordable.  In addition to their line of clothing, they have one of THE MOST EPIC free group gifts walls on the grid which includes a 500L giftcard!  The group is FREE to join!  This will matter in a hot minute.

While I was in the store picking up all the FREE group goodies, I saw this amazing post-apocalyptic outfit offered up at the Tres Chic Event, so I moseyed on over, and, wow, I was not disappointed.  This outfit, which costs 250L for the top and bottom, comes in a wide range of colors with bling and non-bling versions.  This is one hot outfit to use that FREE 500L gift card on!!!  I will warn you, though, if you look around the store, you might find about 50 OTHER cool outfits, too.
