The colors of love

I’ve been hanging on to these group gifts for a bit, because I saw they might come in handy at this time of year 😉 GOREGLAM has a load of group gifts, and the group is free to join, and all my make up and my nails are from the gifts offered! 30,000 Pounds of Bananas

One banana, two banana, three banana, four ….. oh, oops I used a different banana song for the tile …. although I am wearing 4 different banana items, and feel as though I’m wearing 30,000 pounds of bananas! I ♥ SL.

I found this awesome banana outfit on Marketplace from pLEach for just 5 lindens. I couldn’t resist. It’s so silly and comfy at the same time, plus you can’t beat the price. It comes as separates, the pants, top and sleeves, plus you can wear banana sleeves, or net sleeves or both! It’s sized for:

I dug around in my inventory for all my banana stuffs to add, because why not? I knew I had these earrings from the Womenstuff Hunt, and I used my points I got on the Madpea Hunt to buy my slippers (but I don’t know if these items are for sale in their respective stores or if they were exclusive to the hunts).

Happy Valentine’s Day To ME!

Good morning Fabulouses! Valentine’s Day is just a few days away and time is running out to find the perfect outfit for date night. While I was madly trying to teleport into the Shop Your Heart Out Event last night I came across a couple of Valentines Day gifts on my flickr feed by two different designers that seem as if they were made for each other.

I finally did make it into the event late in the evening, and picked up a ton of gifts to show you soon, however I also stopped inworld and picked up the couple of gifts I found while I was waiting and I’m super excited to show you these today.

It was love at first sight!

Nerido was my first stop, where I picked up the Agata Dress in the perfectly timed heart print texture – which is a new Valentine’s Day group gift for Nerido group members. This dress is Maitreya specific and comes with a pair of panties for modesty. The sheer black beaded bodice is part of this sexy little number and it comes in both black and red. I have included their vendor ad below so you can see the beautiful red colour too! This group is 199L to join, but I’d have easily paid that for this dress. There is another group gift available to obtain, and now I’m in the group for future offers and gifts too!

Show Stopper Boots

If there was ever a pair of show stopper boots – these are it. They are A M A Z I N G! You won’t even believe when I tell you that they are absolutely FREE and it won’t even take up a group space! Resting Witch Face

Hello hello Fab Free! Don’t worry, I’m not really gloomy. I just have “Resting Witch Face.” I’m sure some of you can relate to this. I’ve often been told I look upset or even angry when I am genuinely not. I just happen to look that way. So when I saw this FREE Subscriber gift tumbler from Astralia, I had to have it. Admittedly the rest of this look is inspired by the travel mug that cheekily reads “Resting Witch Face” with an arrow pointing up. The TRUTH

This hairstyle, much like Pru’s facial expression, is rather witchy if I do say so myself! These cropped curls are the September Group Gift for TRUTH VIP Group members. As with all the group gifts from TRUTH, this one is a fatpack. Additionally it has a stylist hud so you can change up the style of the hair. I went with this little side braid. I think I’ll be wearing it for a while. Currently the TRUTH VIP group is 350 linden to join.

Cubic Cherries

The top and the bindi Pru has on are both recent group gifts at Cubic Cherry. I think there was even another group gift sent out in the group notices today! I know there are several available at the store. Anyway, I digress, this top is really cute if you’re going for a casual goth look. It comes in a single mesh size (which I think is meant for TMP and could easily be unisex), and in 4 color variations, black & white (shown), black & red, white & black, and white & red. The top fits like a slouchy over-sized tee on my shape/body, which I’m totally okay with. The second gift is the triangular Norse bindi. I like bindis in general, but I think this one is very cool because it’s different from a lot of the ones I am used to seeing. This Cubic Cherry gift comes in black (shown), brass, gold, and silver. Corn-Dog Hustler

Hello There Fab Free’rs! I don’t mind telling you I had a wonderfully lazy weekend so far. I hope yours has been just as awesome. Speaking of awesome, I am excited to share the several gifts I used to create this look. I’d struggle to tell you what my exact personal style is, I’m a little bit pin up, a little bit goth, and a little bit grunge. Ha! This look definitely matches my eclectic tastes, I hope you like it as much as I do.

Corn Dog

There’s something wonderful about food in Second Life. You can enjoy anything and everything without any negative affects. Fair food like this corn dog from Label Motion has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. It’s terrible for you, but oh so good! Now you can enjoy a corn dog and have zero guilt. This fun prop is a FREE subscriber gift from Label Motion. I did have to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to get the gift, but the minimal effort was well worth it. In the gift you’ll get a mustard version (one whole, one half eaten), and a ketchup version (also whole or half eaten). I think it makes for a super cute photo prop.

The Hustler

Pink Hustler has several group gifts out right now, the most recent of which is this super adorable bandanna hairstyle. No pin-up girl wardrobe would be complete without it. Not to mention it’s one of those styles that can dress up or be very casual. The gift includes the hairstyle and two color change huds. The huds also include several floral textures for the bandanna.

While picking up the group gift hairstyle at Pink Hustler, I also snagged a copy of the bento nails group gift that is still available. These extra long claws are seriously cute. They come with a color change hud that lets you pick colors for every other nail, or you can choose to color them all the same. Maybe I’m a Joker

Have Some FREE Fun in the Sun!

Hello Fab Free’rs, I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve been in major need of some rest and relaxation. It’s been a hectic week! Fortunately there’s a little spot I’ve been meaning to check out in Second Life called BRM Radio that can provide just that. It’s a serene waterside location with awesome music to listen to while you enjoy the surroundings. Not to mention there’s some free swag! Also, I recently came across this lovely skin from a new-to-me shop called E. Vary. I really like this skin quite a bit!
First, I know we focus on free and inexpensive fashion a lot on the Fab Free blog, so I’m happy to let you know about the BRM Radio location. It’s a FREE place to hangout and enjoy some fantastic music as well as the scenery and some activities. There is a 7 Seas Fishing setup at the BRM Radio off one of the docks. Need a place to rez? The land is open to rezing for all ~~group members~~. *UPDATE 6/26/2016 – Rezing is open for everyone, no group needed! Fancy a little boating? The BRM Radio location is on the open water, and there’s a FREE boat rez-er so you and your friends or perhaps a significant other can enjoy an afternoon on the water.
